Keskiyo's ears flattened back. "You aren't really my friend. I don't even know you." His tail thrashed restlessly and his eyes kept scanning the sky even as he attempted to glare at the other dragonfly. "Don't need friends. Don't like any dragonflies other than Father."

Keita frowned. So he didn't remember her? " Well I know you... we met when we were little. I remember you were hiding under your father and I was trying to get you to play with me," she said, looking away. Her tail curled up in front of her and her eyes stared at the ground. "And even if you don't like me, I like you, Keski. And.. I won't give up so easily!" She looked up again, a bit more determined. "And I'll prove it! Somehow anyway..."

(( ok! I decided that I'm gonna reply to this even if you aren't online since my other RP is over and I feel like it! whee ))
Now that Keskiyo thought about it he recalled that terrifying time when he had been surrounded by strangers and had to hide with his father for safety. She had been one of them? And she said that she liked him when she had joined the others in trying to steal attention away from Mornandum? He gave her another small glare. "If you liked me then you wouldn't have bothered me back then. I just wanted to be with Father and everyone else kept getting in the way. You don't like me at all."

(( XD lol. I'll probably do stuff simillar to that. XP I love roleplaying too much. ))
She frowned at his last statement. "Na-ah! That's not true at all. And I didn't realize. I was younger then. I didn't understand how you were feeling very well. I just wanted to play with you is all," she said and stuck her tongue out. "You can't prove that I don't like you just by silly little things that happened when we were younger."

Keskiyo's ears flipped back. She was... arguing with him about whether or not she liked him? He didn't really understand her logic. Didn't people act the same as when they were young? He remembered that he acted pretty much the same way as he did currently. Why should she be any different? But she said she was and she said she liked him. "That's not even the point," he grumbled before looking up at the sky again. "The point is that I can't find Father. He's probably off... with her." The last word was a harsh growl and Keskiyo's tail lashed in agitation. Maybe it didn't matter whether this other dragonfly liked him or not.. but it who liked his father definitely mattered.

Keita blinked twice, seeing the subject was changed. What she had said before might of not made sense to him, but it made perfect sense to her so she was confused to why that couldn't be the point. The other did really seem to like to bring up his father. "Who is... her?" she asked, tilting her head to the side. "You never mentioned a her."

Keskiyo turned a quick and angry circle. "I don't know... but I can smell her. I can smell that Father has been seeing some female a lot lately and I don't like her. If I see her..." He drew his lip back in a small snarl. "I'll bite her ears off! She isn't allowed to take him from me!"

Keita frowned and sat down on the ground, thinking all that over. What he said reminded her a lot about something Cyrano was trying to tell her lately. "I... I don't think she is taking him away from you..." she started, looking around as if the avoid the other's eyes. "I think maybe... Morna might like her in a way different then the way he likes you. " She blinked, wondering how she could explain what she just said. She didn't completely understand it all herself yet either.

Following Keita's lead, Keskiyo sat down. He couldn't seem to sit still, though, and his tail kept twitching. "A different way? What other ways are there?" No matter what way it was, it meant that Mornandum was spending time with the female instead of with him. Did it even matter if Mornandum didn't like anyone else but him if he spent all his time away? Keskiyo didn't think so. "I don't care how he likes her. I bet he'll like her a lot less when she doesn't have ears."

"Well ... Cyrano was trying to tell me something the other day. He started off like this: when two adult or elder dragonfly spend a lot of time together they are usually developing deep feelings for each other that result in little dragonfly..." she paused, seeming very confused herself. "After that Cyrano quickly said something about going off to get lunch and ran away. I don't think he understands it very well either, though he did seem kind of scared..." she looked back to Keski. "So maybe Morna is trying to surprise you by bringing you new smaller dragonfly to play with!" She frowned again at his last statement," Biting off her ears isn't very nice if thats what you mean."

Keskiyo's own ears were still flattened back against his head. "I don't care if it's not nice. Mornandum is my father, no one else's. I'll bite the ears off anyone he tries to find baby dragonflies with and bite the ears off any baby dragonflies he brings over. Maybe I should try to find that female he's been spending time with and bite her ears off before she can help him find more puppies." His face was set in a stubborn look. He wasn't going to let his father get away with this.

Keita sighed softly at the other's words. He really did love his father. Maybe a bit too much with the way he was taking it. "But what if the female makes Morna happy? Wouldn't it make you sad if your father was sad?" she said, quietly. She didn't really understand, but then again she didn't remember her parents so she didn't know what it was like to have one.

This was probably the first time that Keskiyo had been presented with a moral dilemma in his entire life. He didn't think he liked it. "Well..." he started slowly. "Being with Mornandum makes me happy. If being with someone else makes him happy then I won't be as happy because he won't be with me. So..." He trailed off as he considered. "So I'd bite their ears off but let them keep talking with Father if he really liked them that much!" He finished triumphantly. "If he doesn't really like them then he'll leave them once they have no ears and I'll be happy again. If he does really like them then he'll still like them without ears but I'll be happier because I'll have bitten the ears off the mean jerks that took him from me!" He got up and gnashed his teeth happily. He had a plan.

Keita got up, her head spinning in slight confusion of this whole biting ears off trial. It did make somewhat sense however. "Uhm alright! Thats alright then.... I think," she said and smiled. Her tail swished from side to side a few times. Perhaps this was like a fighting evil sort of thing? "So you mean you're going to make sure your father isn't being tricked by a bad dragonfly? "

Keskiyo blinked. A bad dragonfly? Anyone was bad if they tried to come between him and his father... he knew that. He nodded. "And then everyone will know that they're bad dragonflies because they won't have any ears." He gave a vicious smirk. "I'll take all of their ears off. I don't care who they are. Even another elder. Father wouldn't let them hurt me, anyways." He looked over at his companion. "If you want to take off the ears of the bad dragonflies you meet... I could take off their tail or something if they try to bother me too."
