Zulu felt the fire lore flow through him. When he saw that the darkness stopped it's attack on him, he pulled his arm slowly away from Vulcan. "Are you all ready?" He said forming a ball of water in his hand. It started to spin and as it gained speed, it started to create it's own energy. Static and sparks started to fly from the ball of water. "Cause it's time to have some fun"

Vaarn moved quickly to the side, sheilding his yes from the brilliant fire in Vulcan's hand. With a snarl he conjured up more shadows, swirling them up and around him. He then turned and looked straight at Vulcan's eyes, probing for a weakness. He saw the imense amount of energy flowing towards Vulcan's hand to create the blinding fire. He knew that the moment that fire was released, he would have a very small window of opportunity. He gathered the shadows and waited, shrouded in his protective lore.

Vulcan breathed a quick sigh of relief. He had saved Zulu from the darkness...for a brief moment anyway. His eyes locked onto Vaarn, their biggest threat. The energy in his palms continued to build and glow bright, sending light everywhere. If he could break Vaarn's protective shadows, Vaarn would be left wide open for attacks. At the same time, Vulcan knew that by launching this attack, he would be left wide open as well because of the huge amount of energy in the attack. "Hold off for a moment, Zulu," Vulcan said distantly. Even the smallest amount of water could throw off his attack. His pupils contracted as he thrust his palms forward. A firestorm of brilliant yellow and orange shot out of them, engulfing Vaarn.

Menefer rolled onto his stomach, his clothing charred and he tip of his tail smoking. His chest wound had opened up again and blood seeped through the bandage. He pushed himself back up onto his knees and summoned a shadow barrier between himself and the invaders. Weakened and injured, he was only going to get in the way with Melee combat.

Vaarn's eyes lit up as he saw the fire headed for him. "Perfect." In a flash the shadows dropped to the ground and Vaarn was no longer standing there. Instead the fire curved after him--straight into Zulu's building water lore. The combined effect cuased a great amount of steam to be issued, and the space instantly filled with smog. Vaarn took the opportunity tomove close to Vulcan and press down on two key points, one on each wrist. Instanly Vulcan's hands began to numb, until they were completely drained of color, unable to move. "That should be the end of the fireworks." Vaarn said, booting Vulcan in the chest. He turned to the general direction of where he knew Menefer to be. "Your turn." he called. In this state of a playing field, only the demon-cat's senses would be good enough to sense an enemy.

Vaarn smiled, sending a thought to Falga. Zulu is as good as ours.

Vaarn eyed the fallen Vulcan. "You're probably right. We'll keep him alive, but we can also assure it's not a happy life." As Akakios went to retrieve Vulcan Vaarn made one last note. "Wherever you keep him, make sure he can't send out any messages. One slip=up, and our entire world could come crashing down around us."
