As the shadow nation's witch-doctor, he's very skilled in potions and herbs, he can whip up a remedy for just about anything. He can talk to spirits, and they sometimes speak through him. Usually, he has no control when or where he is possessed. Appearance:  Bio: No one really knows where Akakios came from or when. He is perhaps the one ray of happiness in such a dark nation. He enjoys getting a laugh of out people, even if that means the torture of another. Even in battle, he tries to make a joke out of his fight. Most of the time, he's a pain because of his annoying upbeat attitude. At the same time, he's slightly creepy because of his role as the witch doctor, especially when he talks to spirits. Although he may seem like a pest, Akakios is a very valuable general because of his great medical and spiritual wisdom. He is extremely out of place with the other generals and the overall Shadow Nation

Age: Unknown looks to be in his early twenties though he’s really closer to about two thousand years old ((Maybe it’s the nine lives? x3 ))

Powers/Abilities: Necromancy, Illusionary hypnosis, extreme flexibility (contortionist?), Agility (inhuman balancing abilities), Shadow lore
Appearance: White hair , gray fur stripe along each cheekbone, white cat ears, a fluffy white almost prehensile tail with a gray tip, light blue eyes with narrow pupils. Humanoid teeth with two sets of sharp pointed canines on the top and bottom of the mouth (8 sharp teeth )
Typical pretty boy type athletic build… slim, toned figure(stays slim in order to keep flexibility at maximum potential).
The clothing he wears might be compared to a sleveless kimono and kimono trousers. He also wears a dusky purple coat vest and a pair of gray fingerless gloves. Either goes barefoot or wears a black slipper-like pair of fitted shoes
Bio: Nef is excessively vain and has a rather sarcastic sense of humor. His history is mostly unkown, and his memories are vague and clouded.
Veon is both his rival and closest friend. Nef commonly refers to him as “Tuna” and has never actually used Veon’s name when addressing him.Prelim character sketch~  ( His tail is behind him :3 )

Name: Mekl age: 30s Race: human Weapon: short sword, hidden knifes Powers: Shadow mage Appearance:tall, pale, gaunt, lanky with white, shoulder length hair. the most noticable feature is that his eyes are black, no whites at all. or you could look at the poorly pencil drawn version...  Bio: Mekl has been the steward for the shadow city for some time. Not being very charasmatic, he simply covers the day to day issues. He does not make any major decisions for the city, leaving those for more important people.

Weapon(s): He has a long sword made of black crystal, as well as three other swords that are nearly invisible under his coat. Each of these swords is made of the purest black crystal of Nir-al-dat, an unbreakable material used in the manufacturing of incredible weaponry. Each sword has been named after one of the four Calamities that shall end the world.
Kri Hana means Death
Dejjal means Plague
Medaid means War
Ti Bunto means Famine
Powers/Abilities: He has masterful control shadows, able to fill someone's mind with them whether or not they have mental barriers. He can also move extremely quickly. He has also slight mind control, but only on weaker minds. He also controls the Shadow Spiders, small black spiders that bear a red X upon their back. They may move in and out of the shadows as easily as he may, and often lose their shape and form, but always bear the red X. Though they are small, their poison is incredibly deadly, and fills the veins with a toxic substance deemed Shade. When Shade enters the blood stream, it either flows towards the brain, shutting everything down, or towards the heart, stopping it completely in a matter of seconds.
Appearance: Tall and guant with piercing yellow eyes that he doesn't bother to hide behind sunglasses. He wears a full-length, high-collared coat at all times. Inside the coat (known to no one other than himself) are a pair of extra arms, held in place by twin slings. If necessary he will unclasp the slings and use these arms in battle, each grasping a sword. He has hair so black it seems to absorb the light around it, and bears a tattoo under his left eye that means "spider". Follow the linkage
Bio: Vaarn was unloved by his mother, so he made it a point to cause misery and destruction to anyone he came across. Upon crossing through the Gate from Nir-al-dat, he found a necromancer who attached his extra arms. He later traced a trail of shadow energy, hoping it would lead to his brother, Crow. Instead, it lead to the Shadow Nation. He accepted a position there, working towards vengence on the world that never wanted him to exist. Now he had been collaborating with the necromancer to create the ultimate weapon, the combination of light and dark magick. With a small needle dipped in it, he could melt a solid wall. He was ever loyal to his Queen, but did not know that she would betray him. Thanos sent him to the Water Nation to dispatch Crow and Renna. He killed Crow, and was therefore resonsible for Atra's death as well. Junon then destoryed the vampire, ripping him to pieces and casuing him to be sent ot his own private hell which consisted of; nothing. Absolute, unending, nothing.Name: Hermant aka The Puppet Master
Age: Mid-thirties, though he appears to be in his teens
Race: Necromancer
Weapon(s): He has many sharp needles hidden all over his body. A vast majoirty of them are found on his upper arms and thighs. These needles range in size, but all are equally sharp, and are rumored to be able to pierce through metal.
Powers/Abilities: He uses a person's own shadow against them, using it to control their body, thus his alias. He then empowers these bodies with incredible strength, speed, and agility. They serve him not only as servants, but also as soldiers, personal bodyguards, and a vast network of spies. He uses many "living" persons, though anytime a person dies, he immediately procures the body, setting it to use for him. These re-animated corpses are usually the strongest of his soldiers, and only they are his personal bodyguards at all times. The others are recycled. The re-animated corpses can create other "puppets" just like their sadistic master, though their creations usually disintegrate into a bloody mass after a few days. Also, his eyes allow him to know a person's true name (Shinigami eyes).
Appearance: He appears to be in his late teens, perhaps nearly twenty. When constraining himself he appears completely normal and indescript. As seen here. However, his eyes are a fiery orange color, and when he chooses to use his magick, his hair becomes the same color, until it looks like his entire head is on fire. When he smiles, as he has a tendency to do, it streches out far too wide, revealing row after row of gleaming sharp teeth. He seems very thin and malnourished, nearly a corpse hismelf, but possesses incredible strength and speed. His voice is very light, almost feminine, but at the same time, strange and eerie. (Kind of like Yazoo from FFVII:AC only creepier). He also tilts his head to the side, making it appear as though he is more puppet-like than his puppets.
Bio: Hermant was an accomplished shaman in a small village not far from the Shadow Nation. However, once they discovered his perverse, not to mention illegal, magickal practices, they attempted to send him from the village. In a sharp smile and a firey blink, he had leveled the entire village, now equipped with a small personal army of puppets. He would continue on, around from village to village, procuring spies in high ranking positions in each Nation, building his army in every small town he visited. He is particaularly ruthless when it comes to the Fire Nation, though he refuses to reveal why. His abilities (he calls them "his art") were well appriciated by Vaarn, who has recently taken him under his wing. Hermant was the one who attached Vaarn's extra arms, allowing him even greater strength in battle. Hermant now makes reports to Vaarn, though his loyalties never entirely lie far from his own well-being. He is currently housed deep inside Vaarn's quarter of the city, doing who-knows-what.

Name: Falga (Real name is Zabuza Sabuto)
Age: 25
Race: Human
Weapon(s): He is a master of weaponry. he can use anything but he favors his two swords he uses. The names of those swords are Phobos and Deimos (Which in Greek, Phobos means Fear and Deimos means Panic). He also favors his dark lore skills, which he can canal into his blades.
Powers/Abilities: Mastered the Shadow Lore. He also knows other lores like water and earth, but he isn't good at them. His other abilities are unknown due to the fact that no body ever saw him fight. He usually scares people into giving up because of the rumors that he is strong, but that rumor has not been confirmed.
Appearance: Coming soon
Bio: He was once a water nation resident. When he was 13, he was camping with his parents when, at night, someone came to there camp and killed his parents, but not him. Eventually, he made it back to the water nation capital and told the nation leader (which back then was Zulu's father), but he didn't try to find the killers. Then, that was when he learned that he the people that were killed were not his real parents, but his adoptive parents. After going through all of that mental torture, he took his things and ran away from the water nation.
After months, he came across an old man that was dying. He he was passing him, the man yelled for help. "Please sir. i need food or I will die." So Zabuza, trying to be a nice person, went over to give him food. Then the man grabbed him and tried to bite him. "You are my food" Said the old man. Zabuza got scared and picked up a rock and hit the guy in the head. After, the man let go, Zabuza took the rock and crushed the man's chest with it. With his dying breath, the old man laughed and said "Good job boy. I see promise in you. Real promise." Then a dark portal opened before Zabuza. "Here" Said the man "I see you are strong with the darkness. Go through the portal and I promise you, you will be saved." So Zabuza went through the portal and found himself on the outskirts of a Dark city, The Shadow Nation Capital.
After a few years, he became a student at a Shadow Lore school and learned how to use the shadows as a weapon. Shortly after, he started to climb the ranks until he became a Lord in the Shadow Nation. He also made the discovering of Noitan Wodahs, which is a substance that makes shadow users stronger if on them or close to them.
When he first came to the Shadow Nation, he was told by a High Priest that his adoptive parents were killed by the Water Nation. Since, then he started to believe it more and more until he hated the water nation. He hated it so much, that he changed his name to Falga, which means great warrior or great power in ancient shadow language. He was also told about his real parents and how they are/were high class water nation people. But the one thing that shocked him the most was that he learned that he had a brother, but little in known on that subject.

Powers/abilities: Absolute control over shadows and powers in telepathy
Bio: a unintended creation from the use of shadow lore, Desth found a single person in the shadow city who was not completely full of death and darkness. He bound himself with Mekl to help him achieve his goal. After Mekls death, Desth released himself from Mekl's body to extract his revenge for the abuse of the shadows upon the dark lords of the shadow nation.
Appearance:
7 foot tall humanoid, he has no face, but has two glowing red spots were a human would have eyes. However, as he is a shadow, he can change into any shape at any time.

Name: Although he has been known by many names, he usually goes by Thanos Age: Age is measured in years. Years is a form of time. Time is a concept of man, something which Thanos does not fall into the category of. Race: Angel of death, or quite simply: Death. Weapons: None Powers/Abilities: Extremely vast shadow and light lore, telepathy and teleportation, able to take souls, kill instantly, and bring the dead back to life. Bio: As death, Thanos has a lot on his plate. However, every once in a while, he is drawn to earthly activities and will live among the people. When things began stirring in the Shadow Nation, he grew very interested and decided to live among those of the shadow nation. Although extremely powerful, he is neutral. He cannot fight in any battles for any side. He merely stands and observes. He remains on the silent side, but when he does speak, it's short and to the point. An air of eerie elegance and class surrounds him. Woe to those whom are followed by Thanos, for it usually means their time is coming to an end however, it is not always the case. Still, having Thanos lurking around is usually not a good sign. He and Akakios have built a slight "friendship", since Akakios uses his souls. Few people know him to be death. Appearance: Thanos has an almost unnatural beauty. His snow white hair is cropped short and falls perfectly straight just past his ears. His skin appears to be almost silver. Every detail in his face is sharply defined. His eyes are deep set, the right one a deep violet, the left eye gold. He is quite tall and wears a flowing robe of black. Around his neck, he wears a circular golden locket. Both of his ears are pieced at the lobe by a simple silver ring.  Holy cow! The closet picture of Thanos I can find! The woman might come into play later...or has she already? -twilight zone theme plays- [[let me know if I'm breaking a rule or something with this character. xD]] ((Kill: Hmmm.....Thanos and the Queen perhaps? xD))

Age: seems to be about 16 in human years
Race: Kobold
Weapons: Tinkering Tools, Explosives, own body hurled at high velocity?
Powers/Abilities: able to create mechanical/explosive objects with varying ease.... rather impervious to elements and force..... can whistle and armpit fart as well as play a mean (rather dented) horn.
Appearance: Three feet tall, he has a rather bookish appearance with his goggles strapped to his face, along with a singed flame retardant cloak. His skin has a copper sheen from the many experiments he has performed that have burn and/or changed the composition of his skin.
Bio: He comes out of the western mountains on a horseless chariot which seems to have a good enough time rolling down hill, but when asked why it doesn't move up hill, he says it needs work. His parents were the usual kobold type, father a warrior, mother a mage, except for the fact that his mother killed herself and her father in a fit of magical ecstasy. (be safe kids, only use approved spells while having sex!) he grew up with the idea that it was the use of magic, not his errant parents, who were at fault for their death, and decided to forego mage academy for an apprenticeship with a local dwarven blacksmith. After many years of training, he learned that he had acquired a rather impervious nature to the elements, especially fire, possibly from his parent's sexual exploration with magic, and decided to use it to his advantage. As he started tinkering farther, he accidentally blew up the main furnace at his master's shop, the kitchen of the local tavern as well as two city blocks worth of shops and boutiques (it wasn't his fault, he didn't know the fertilizer from the pigs was going to ignite...) So he moved down out of the mountain cities on the modified cart of his late master

Powers/Abilities: Extreme animalistic and psychic senses
Appearance: Tall and muscular- Standing over 6ft. Although, he did not look like a brute; his features where obviously taken from his mother and he looked as if he had to work hard to attain his barrel chest and muscle. His hair which exceeded three inches below his shoulders was white. It was pin straight but full and thick. His chin-length bangs which cut into a sear point flowed over his handsome face; complete with a square jaw and a pointed nose. His deep brown eyes, looking almost a black from afar where shaded with thick black lashes which he obtained by himself, not his parents nor relatives. His teeth were nothing but the straightest and you could tell even without him grinning. He has the aristocratic appearance which caused people to fear confronting him in the middle of the night.
