Come to think of it, Ayase from Okane ga Nai reminds me of Hisoka... ... Except his not a little b***h. You really can't be bitchy when you've been bought by a leading yakuza, now can you? Wouldn't be wise at all... And kanou is scary to begin with. >.>

Hmm, well. The main character is (uke) named Ayase. His cousin, Tetsuya, is in debt to the Yakuza and he basically sells Ayase to them to help pay off his debt. The Yakuza put Ayase up for auction *ahem* and people start bidding on him like crazy. However, at the last moment a very powerful man of the yakuza named Kanou, dumps a case full of money on the stage and (this money is A LOT and no one else will bid higher) wins Ayase right then. Turns out that Kanou had met Ayase long ago and has special feelings for him. Ayase, however, does not remember, and that ends up pissing Kanou off. Kanou has a horrible temper and ends up retaliating against Ayase's forgetfulness by proclaiming 'I bought you' and therefore keeping Ayase. Kanou ends up telling Ayase that he can buy his own freedom. ...So Kanou pays Ayase 5 hundred thousand each time for his body. Each time Kanou deducts a little more from Ayase's debt and will continue to do this until the sum of 1.2 billion (the amount he paid for Ayase) is fully paid off. Ayase gets into a lot of trouble from there, but that's the set up of the storyline. So far four volumes are availible on: drown the otaku. Go under yaoi because it's not under manag. It's also really funny. Really great stuff. I know there are five volumes, but only four are out so far. *squee* There's also an OVA which can be found here. Only one episode is out so far, and it's only the opening, basically what I just told you. But you can also find the OVA here. You'll have to click anime and then navigate to the correct letter sections and scroll down a bit to find it. Excuse me for the long post, but I love Okane ga Nai and it's really appealing to me. I think I like the elements... Okay, I know I like the elements.

It is really awesome. Whenever you do check it out, please tell me who your favorite character is! X3 I luff Ayase. Okane ga Nai is one of those few series that actually prompted me to write a fanfic. It sucks, but it gave me something to do near the end of school.

Excluding the final duel, Yu-Gi-Oh had 220 episodes. With an anime so long, it's mandatory that the ending should not only be convincing but also serve its real purpose: ending it.
Yuugi, I believe is a 'diamond in the rough'. At first glance, there is nothing remarkable about him, but deep inside he has something special waiting to be exposed when the time is right. The ending does exactly that.
First, let's go back to the early episodes of Duelist Kingdom. Notice how timid and reserved Yuugi is. In these parts, you'll feel as if Kazuki Takahashi himself was shoving it in your face that Yuugi was practically useless and did nothing but allow Yami to duel for him.
But as you go on, you'll start to see Yuugi take part in the dueling strategies that appear to be all Yami's ideas, since he of course, is the one carrying them out.
As more and more episodes pass by, you will see just how much Yami has affected him and made an impact in his life.
After all character development is done, we see the finished product that was produced through countless duels and sacrifices. We see Yuugi at his best: stronger, more clever, braver, independent and more motivated than ever.
Despite Kaiba's and almost everyone's uncertainty, he was still able to overcome the odds and prove to everyone that he could achieve on his own and that his victory was not because of his luck of knowing Yami more than anyone else but of sheer skill and his insurmountable will to win.
So yes, I feel strongly about the ending and I wouldn't have it any other way. heart
...Even if it did make me cry a lil'. crying

That was... was... amazing Mizuko. heart I agree with you completely and you put it perfectly. Sure, it made everyone a little sad to see him go, but Yuugi can make it on his own now. Goodness, I never would have thought to say 'a diamond in the rough'. Good choice there. heart

@Kavvana: I read all four volumes! X3 Gosh, it was amazing! It's already one of my favorite manga now! Thank you so much for hooking me up! <3 I'll watch the OVA probably tomorrow when my parents aren't home... but my favorite character is definitely Aya Chan. <3 He's so friggin' adorable! But it's kind of scary... he is *so* much like an OC I have named Tero... not only are their personalities similar, but they really look alike too! o.o *feels so unoriginal now* ~_~;; But ahem, I also really really like Gyon Chan a lot! <3 He's awsome! Besides Ayase and Gion, I'm also fond of both the Kuba brothers, though especially Homare, Tokikawa (even though he's a complete nutcase I still like him! XD;; ), and Someya. Kanou is okay, but he manages to piss me off quite often... seriously Akila, I think you would hate this guy... he's like a more bastardly version of Kaiba... total p***k, plus he's a pervert. XP Oh, but Marik? You know what's really depressing??? gonk Tetsuo and I share the same friggin' astrological sign *and* blood type! ;_; I don't wanna be like that guy... and seriously, why the hell is he a Scorpio (and type B for that matter...) in the first place?! Scorpios like... *never* get in debt! XP (I never do, so I guess I am a little Scorpio-like at least...) Ahem, sorry about that... XD;; @Mizuko Sama: I agree with Kavvana, that was so well-said! Gosh, you really have a way with words. X3 You've managed to impress me again. XD;; And you're completely right about Yuugi. He matured so much in the series, but it's one of those things that you really only notice if you think about it. Not to mention, I really like how in the final duel they completely redid their decks so neither could already have strategies planned. I think Yami no Yuugi's was too similar to their original one though... o.o I loved Yuugi's deck though. ^^ It suited him so well! So I guess even though Yuugi had the advantage of fighting against a deck that he was reletively used to, Yami no Yuugi had the advantage of using that deck himself, plus he had the God Cards...

Kavvana and KitsuneChan:
Uhm...thank you. I never really express myself to other people and when I do I tend to be ramble. redface
Yami no Yuugi played the 3 God Cards, the Dark Magician and other powerful cards and...uh...still lost to his aibou. How can anyone mistake that for luck? Poor Yuugi. So underrated. crying

Yes, he is underrated. Which is exactly why I'm getting the wall scroll that has YUUGI on it, and not his Yami. *sticks tongue out at Atem* See there! THEY DO put his face on the merchandise! *ahem* @Kitsune: You're welcome! ^^ I can't remember who some of those people are, so I'll have to go back and read it again. *w00t!!!* That's kinda weird, to have an OC similar to Ayase. But don't feel bad. I had a story going one time, and then I read a magazine article about this story some chick had just published. Almost EXACTLY like my story. I gave up on mine.. *sob* But the hooker lines on the cover of the book were like the ones I had on the hand-drawn cover of my story. 0_o Mine was like... One Evil... One World... One Destiny... (Written just like that by the way) and the one on her book was like.. one world, three stones, three girls
... Scared the s**t out of me, and made me cry my eyes out because it was almost an exact copy of my main idea. however, she lived in like ... Europe I think... and we'd never met, so it was one of those creepy coincidences. My friend JB just laughed after she got over the "Holy *u*k" thing.
XD You really are upset about being similar to Tetsuo, aren't you? I really liked the side story where they "went back in time" and changed it from Okane ga Nai to... Zeni wa Omahen! But my FAVORITE was the extra where one of the Kubo brothers nearly got hit in the head with "that". XDDD "Got hit in the head with a vibrator!" "To think, somethign like that would fall from the sky" XDDD I couldn't stop laughing it was so funny. XDDD ...Am I allowed to say that word in here? >.>

@Mizuko: Well I love your rambles. XD And I agree, it was definitely more than luck that Yuugi won. @Marik: There's a wall scroll with Yuugi on it?! :O *only has one with Yami no Yuugi on it, based on the orginal thirty-minute movie* ;_; And... that's extremely creepy how similar those are! O.O And Zeni wa Omahen was awsome! XD And I loved the little mini story where Kanou was eating in his sleep. <3 And lucky timing for me! X3 I managed to download the first OVA yesterday right before my mom got home, so it's currently sitting in my videos waiting to be watched. (needs free time along with some privacy) *coughs* But I think I found the second one on You Tube... ahem, anyway, can't wait! X3

*Can't stop laughing as she remembers the cake thing with Kanou* Yeah, that was hilarious. Poor Ayase was just having some fun. Good thing he didn't wake up...
Yeah, the Yuugi wall scroll can be found on ebay... a ton of wall scrolls actually. Some from season zero, and a lot from Duel Monsters. And the soundtracks as well... *laughs* SO you have creepy Yami no Yuugi on your wall? O_O I don't think I'd like to wake up and see that staring at me. XD
