Imel smiled, nuzzling the male's back. Her family was rather large but at the very least the latest generation was all grown up. Though her newest.......nephews and neices were still kits. It was odd. Growing up knowng that her grandnephew was the one playing with ehr. Imel giggled, rubbing herself alongside him before making her way to the couch. The fem settled down on it, looking for something that had changed since the last time she was here. "It's been so long..."

Once his head was properly dry, he followed her and hopped onto the couch behind her, stretching his body against hers, lengthwise, and he laid his head on the armrest, "I know what you mean, I haven't been here since I was a baby..." he said softly.

Imel purred, scooting back into her boyfriend. She nuzzled him still looking around. She remembered how she and Ilta would use this couch to pounce worth passerbyers. The fem giggled, turning and nuzzling the male. "I miss being tiny. It was always so easy to scare people when you're tiny."

Hanzi laughed a little at that, "I could be as loud as I wanted to when I was a baby, and no one could get mad at me. I guess that comes with being a parrot!" he said with a smile.

The female giggled thinking about Hani as a little child squawking again and again. "You're silly. Besides...Herons are better." She stuck her nose up into the air a little bit. Unfortunately for her she earned most of her colors and markings came from her mother's side.

Hanzi gently bopped the top of her head, "No way, parrots are supposed to be the smartest creatures in the world!! So that means I am a genius!" he said in a boastful manner, puffing up.

Imel chuckled, sticking her tongue out at him cutely. She bopped him back, rolling her eyes. "Yeah...genius. Which is why you were originally using water.....But either way I have a thousand times more grace than you Mr. I-fell-off-the-roof-from-a-kiss." She chuckled, giving the male a little peck.

Hanzi 'hmph'ed and turned his head away, a small blush going on his face. Well, in his mind, guys were supposed to be graceful, that is why his mom had all the grace! And his sister! At the thought of his sister, he deflated, his thoughts turning more...depresssing...

Imel tilted her head at the sad look that was upon his face. The female frowned in returned before giving her boy a nuzzle and lick. "Hani...don't be emo....Imel's here!" The half-heron cooed at her fellow bird friend, just curious at what was upsetting him.

Hanzi blinked, but smiled, kissing her cheek and he laid his head back down, "I'm sorry, it's just....I usually get like this when I think about my sister...." he said softly, his ears folding down.

Imel cooed at him again, nuzzling the male. She could...kind of understand. Family could be some of your best friends or some of your worst enemies. She was lucky enough that the majority of he family did well with each other. The female nosed him a bit, patting down some of his poofing fur. Imel perked up as an idea popped into her head. She got up and tugged upon her ear. "Come come! Imel wants to share a special stuff with you."

Hanzi squawked when his ear was tugged on, and he chuckled, smiling at her. "Ok, ok, don't take my ear off!" he said teasingly.

The female smiled, sticking her tongue out for a bit. The moment she was out the door she spread her wings, gliding along the breeze. Oh it felt so good to be home. So good so good so goood! Soon the lake was in her view, the eye-banded fem glided down low her paws skimming the surface. She turned, making sure that he saw this. It was the only reason she would allow herself to get her wings absolutely soaked. With a twirl the fem dove into the water, her destination was a crevice hidden by some rocks and plant life.

Hanzi followed her outside and his flapped his wings and took off, following after his girl. His eyes skimmed over her form as they flew along, and he couldn't help but think how beautiful the browns of her fur was. He watched as she skimmed over the water and then dived right in. His eyes went wide and he flapped his wings to hover over the water, looking for her with worry in his eyes.

Imel took in a deep breath of air, nodding to herself. Actually, she had only heard of this place from a story from her grandfather. But according to him, it used to be hidden by a waterfall. She didn't know what changed it exactly but it was here now. The fem giggled looking around. Her father had gathered quite a few things here to make it 'suitable'. She wondered if Hani would be able to figure out what purpose this room actually had. Actually...the half-bird didn't even want to think about it.
She cooed to herself, wondering why he was taking so long. Maybe he got lost? The fem dived back into the pool, swimming through the short path that took her to the lake. She wished she could just used her wings under here, but that made her use too much effort and therefore she tired out faster. The little white-banded fem broke the surface, looking at her worried boyfriend. "Hani! Come Come!" And back down she went.
