Cuirose's large, bloodshot, and orange colored eyes looked down at his broken and brunt body. He saw his flesh being slowly and painfully melted away and his soon he was looking at his bones as they started protruding from the large hole in the dead center of his distorted torso. And he roared in anger, though, not in pain or fear or sadness. For he had momentarrily relieved himself of all emotions, not including endless and un-dying rage. So he began to panic as he watched his body disolve into, what seemed like a, black, purple and red smoke/mist substance that whirled and twisted itself around him. Cuirose began to panic even more and started to twist and turn, trying to release himself from the binding smoke. But to no avail, he was being crushed into a small square of matter, but then it went all black and he felt like he was getting ran over by a steam roller. The feeling was horrible, imagine for a moment, that you were getting flattened into a comic character and that your insides were getting smashed as well as you. So your brain was getting smashed as well and you couldn't think, yet you were thinking. And you were dying for air, but your lungs couldn't expand and your heart couldn't expand so it couldn't pump blood through your body. So in other words, you were flat and 2-D. Okay now back to Cuirose.

Well that is how Cuirose felt and he just simply could not stand it. So he broke through and everything seemed to stop. He was fighting himself, the world, time, life, death, and his mis-matched soul in slow motion. Every single movement he made seemed to take a whole millennium to do. So finally after about a minute, in real life time, Cuirose's head smashed through the top of the black and purple egg thing. And he took a gulp of fresh and non blood scented air. And he saw Jade, and that made him start to give it everything he had to get out of the cacoon. He was thrashing and kicking around and sure enough he got his legs and arms out, one by one. And then he made a flame surround him and the egg broke into one thousand little bits of dark glass. And as Shuya fell out of the cacoon Cuirose went running towards Jade with a smile on his face and his arms outstretched. And as he reached her he threw his arms around her and hugged her close. He was happy, happy to be alive and still the same.

Cuirose stopped in mid hug and his eyes went wide and his pupils small, and as he turned around like a huge hulking giant. And he saw Shuya, motionless, laying there. He was dead and Cuirose didn't know what had happened. He wasn't ready for it and he just walked over to Shuya's body and sat, criss-cross-applesauce, next to him and burried his face in his hands and then lifted his head and screamed. And this scream was of pure sorrow and anger.

Hikaru walked towards him. "Kyo I... I'm sorry about that... She's... She hard to..." Hikaru stammered as she walked up to him. Her eyes widened as she saw Shuya. "Oh god no." She gasped, kneeling next to him. "What... What happened?" She asked in a panicky voice,

"He's not fatally wounded..." She mumbled to herself. "He just seems to be... mhm... yeah." She leaned over him. "Maybe if I just..." She placed her hands over her heart, which started to glow. The glow ran down her arms and into her hands, which she placed on Shuya's heart. The was a jolt of energy. Hikaru felt weak. "That should restart his heart..." She sighed.

"Dammit!" She yelled, punching the dirt. "That should've worked! That should've!"

"Hikaru!" Arisu yelled, storming up to them. "Get away from there!" She grabbed Hikaru's wrist and pulled her to her feet. "What the hell do you think you're doing!?"

"Grandmother... Shut up." Hikaru growled, Arisu slapped her.

"Wasting your energy on... on that!?" She yelled. "What the hell were you thinking!?"

Arisu glared at Kyo coldly. "You have no right Death God. Back down." She hissed sternly. "You are so far beneath me that you are almost invisible."

"Arisu stop it!" Hikaru pleaded, taking a step towards Kyo. "Kyo's my boyfriend! I love him. So please just stop!"

"Well I'm afraid I can't allow that." Arisu said smugly, loud enough for the retreating Kyo to hear. "After I went through all that trouble to find you a proper husband." She smirked.

"What!" Hikaru gasped.

"Yes. I mean what I said. He's a nice high class guy. You can;t back down. Besides, it'll be much, much nicer than being with-" She shuddered. "-that." She noticed Kyo's clenched fists. "What? That make you mad Death God? You gonna cry? Hmm?" She taunted.
