"Uhh..No." Kooh said dryly. "I will not go back there." She said defiantly moving away from the sheriff. "If I go back home I will be killed"
Is this guy nuts there is no way I am going back to my house with him.

The sheriff sighed, obviously the girl was not taking the hint. Still, he remained in character. He walked over and grabbed her by the wrist, as if to discipline her. He lent forward and whispered in her ear. "You're not going home. I need an excuse to get out of this place." He said, then got back into character by tugging her along, gently but firmly. He looked off at Zach and motioned for him to get in the back seat of the patrol car.

"Fine" She said now playing along. "No need to be pushy I can do it myself." She said tugging away and getting into the car.

When they were all safely inside the car, he turned to Zach, then to Kooh.
"Sorry about that, I don't want anyone else to be killed over power-phobia." He said, looking at the other two solemnly. He turned back into his seat and started the engine, backing up a little before doing a complete U-turn, opposite of Kooh's house. "Sorry I had to be so rough," he continued to look out at the road, yet his voice was sincere enough. "Its just that I needed copperation more than at that point."

"I would have cooperated better, had I caught on to your hints, but right now I am a little jumpy." She said apologetically. Kooh buckled her seat belt and asked, "Where exactly are we going?"

Kevyn was running.... not at all paying attention to where he was until he'd run right out in front of the oncoming car....
"That was not a smart move," said the voice. Whoever it was kept a strong grip on her arm as he dragged her to a nearby car. He opened the door and shoved her in, climbing in himself next and locking the doors.
"Don't try to escape," he told, she could clearly see it was male now, "The doors can only be unlocked from the front. He turned the keys, gunned the engine, and they were off. I only hope Kevyn will be able to get help, she thought.
((OOC: Note: The car I was refering to in the segment with Kevyn was the one Jack, Zach, and Khoo are in.))

Jack was in mid-sentence, explaining how Kooh could actually trust Zach, when a figure came out in front of the car. "Holy Sh-" Jack started, spinning the steering well to the far right, so thtat he was taking up both lanes on the highway. He calmed himself down in time to see a boy running along the highway. He rolled down the electric window, his heart still thumping in his throat. "Hey, kid!" He shouted in a shaky voice. His teeth were actually rattling within his head.

ThEndOfHeartache927 Luke couldn't stay like this, in a holding cell like a ******** rat. He had to get out. He couldn't simply let the people that had done this to Marcus roam free; god knew how long it would take for the cops to find them. He looked up from the tattered, creaky bed through the bars of the holding cell to see a police officer at the desk. Slowly, Luke lifted the officer's shadow off the ground behind him. He had never used his powers to harm someone before, but these were different circumstances. Slowly, he brought the shadow around the officer's throat so he wouldn't feel it just yet. He then pulled with all his might and held it in place, cutting off the man's air supply. Not intending to kill him, he let the shadow fall back to the ground after the man had passed out. Luke then stepped up to the bars and gripped two of them with both hands. They melted in his grasp. Stepping through the new doorway he had constructed, he turned back to the cell and held his hands up. The bars slowly came back together as if nothing had ever happened. Luke went to the door. Locked. He gripped the door knob and evisioned the lock turning into nothing but goo that would seep out onto this side of the door. A stream of coppery fluid fell through the keyhole at his feet. He turned the knob viciously and ran out, through the police station, shouts following him all the while. He didn't care. He ran. As the sirens sounded behind him, Luke panicked. He didn't know what to do except... It sounded ridiculous in his own head, but... He pulled his shadow up and climbed on it and it automatically flew through the air with him on board. God, he felt ridiculous. But it was getting him somewhere, wasn't it? As he had with the locked door in the police station, Luke gripped the doorknob of what he hoped to be a vacant motel room and turned the lock into jelly, then returning it to normal once he was safe inside. He leaned his back against the door, sliding down till his backside hit the floor, where he rested his head in his hands. The sirens faded into the distance rapidly. He had succeeded in giving the cops the slip. Now how would he find Marcus' killers...?

Allen and Reg were busy running towards the sirens, missing Luke slip into the motel room they were staying at by mere inches. They arrived at the station to see utter panic. Whatever happened here, they had missed out. Reg was somehow disappointed.

Jacks heart stopped in that instant. Fear disipated from his mind, leaving his entire mind and body open to the cold icewater in the back of his mind, which gladly took over. Jack's face seemed to stone over. He looked at the kid with eyes that weren't so stable. "Get in." he said curtly, no longer glaring at him, more so than through him.

"I think I can find the place again.....," said Kevyn, "but I'm not sure. I was running to fast both going to and coming from it to really notice where I was though...." His voice trailed off. Suddenly he got an odd look on his face and shouted, "Keerah!" ((OOC: These events happen at the same time as the above)) "Get out," the man ordered Keerah, "we've arrived." They were stading in a spot that Keerah remembered, though she wasn't sure why.... then it hit her. This was where the police chief's daughter had been found, dead. In a panic she sent a mental image of the location to Kevyn with a mental shout of, HURRY!
