Doom Schneider Ashtar Doom Schneider On the way to Straussenfest yesterday, my best friends mum kept saying that Ramsmtein's lyrics translated into stuff like-Kill all newborn babies and steal from your parents. I blew up and started translating Nebel for her, right there in the car (my best friend was digging her nails into my wrist the whole time trying to get me to stop, he mum already has a problem with me), and when the song was done there was this long silence(proving me right) and then i said "See? Nothing about killing babies or stealing, so next time you wanna down talk something, know about it first, especially when you're talking to someone like me" Her mom hasnt said a word to me since, so now she hates me and Rammstein...not that i care, but it just shows how ignorant some people can be. My best friend was angry too, prolly cause i bad talked her mum. You did the right thing, you stuck up for something that you love. Her mom was in the wrong for thinking she knew something she did not. I say bonus up to you! Now that is messed--people are people that is what I say--no matter what they look like or what language they speak.

Doom Schneider Helter Skelter Hippie My dad's a metalhead, and he loves Rammstein. whee He can't understand what they're saying, as he doesn't speak German, but he says they're damn cool anyway. domokun Occasionally I'll tell him what a lyric or two means, and he'll do the little metal-horns with his fingers. whee
My mom HATES Rammstein, though. She hates most of the music I listen to. Including the Beatles and the Beach Boys. WTF? How can you hate THEM? At least with Rammstein, you could have a viable reason... but how can you insist the Beatles and the Beach Boys are evil or satanic? *Boggles.*
Rubber Soul is one of my favorite albums. My favorite is... s**t, I love them all. Except "Let it Be." There's only three songs I like on that one. xp I dunno why. I just don't like "Let It Be."
*cough* anyway.

My parents don't know about Rammstein. I can't imagine that my mom would appreciate the song Buck Dich since she speaks German... surprised

My parents don't mind as long as I don't blast it too loud. They always say "How come you like music you can't understand?". I smile and jam away.

I say past is past though, we cannot change the past but we can the present and the future.

*cough* anyway.i live near the beatles hometown, liverpool, thers some gr8 places to visit in liverpool, but some aren't but one thing i am not! is a scouser but the beatles r gr8! and so is liverpool but the chavs aren't
