Shaitani attempted to move out of the way of Ling's attack, but his eg greatly reduced his speed. ...No...
He roared as loudly as he could, unsheathed claws raised in the air, all of his weight resting on his good hind leg. He stood as upright as was possible, the blood flowing at an awkward angle now because of his stance.
"You cannot expect me to leave Kun Yi behind!"

Ling watched as the other male attacked. He nodded at him and trusted himself forward hitting the other lion with the full force of his run. He growled and hit at the other male. "This fight will decide your fate Shaitani...."

Shaitani toppled himself down on the other male, making to bite wherever his jaw could clamp, and dig his claws into and flesh that could be punctured with-in their reach, "My fate for now," he growled.

Ling fell backward, his back hitting hard against the cold grass beneath him. He roared as the male's jaws clamped down on his neck, his claws tearing int oany bit of flesh they could reach. His hind legs kicked out, aiming for the other's hips to toss him.

Shaitani hung on with every bit of strength he had left. As Ling's legs pushed into his hips with unbearable force, Shaitani still hung on. This was his last chance to take Kun Yi with him to the forest. He could take the pain for her. He would have to.

The King continued to fight. He rolled his massive form trying to get ontop of Shaitain, and gain better ground. He tore his front claws into Shaitani's shoulders, pressing his weight into them, trying to form the male to release. "You do not...have to kill me...to win, Shaitani..." He Smacked the male across his face.

Shaitani was forced to release, rolling off of the king to his back. He was winded, wounded, and bleeding heavily. On top of that, is shoulders were nearly in shreds and one of his hind legs was shot. His breathing was heavy, causing is whole body to shake, which, in turn, sent shots of pain throughout his body.

Ling laid there in the ground, trying to gather his breath. he too was bleeding badly, his heart pounding. He tried to force himself to standing, to no avail. He looked to Shaitani, he seemed to be having just as bad a time as he.
The King sighed and rested his head on his paws. "Go..." He took a few deep breaths and continued on. "Take Kun Yi and leave. She is your charge untill she reaches adulthood...and then...she is your queen...You fought me to a draw..." He forced his weary legs to push him up to standing. "It is only right that you are allowed to leave...You leave...with my highest respects, You Shaitani, are like a brother to me..."

Shaitani turned to look at the king, eyes soft now, "And you to me. I cannot thank you enough, Ling. I am forever indebted. Thank you... For everything."
He tried to roll over to stand, but only exhausted himself with the movement. He was too weary, and much too injured, to expect his body to allow him much movement. He groaned, letting every muscle relax. He'd get up when he could. But until then, he found this patch of grass quite cozy.

During the entirety of the fight, the dragon lioness had remained in her curled up ball. The red ears had stayed tuned to the entrance and the fight beyond. Her flakes shook with the noise and roars the two Kings had emitted. Never in her life had she been so scared. Scared of loosing Shaitani.
When silence reigned she raised her head. She could see neither of the two males. Her heart made a leap into her throat and the teen found herself dashing towards the entrance. The fight was over and her only thought was Shaitani.
Kun Yi dodged Nuri and leapt to her mate sides, amethyst eyes darting over the bloodied form and grass. "Shaitani!" Ignoring the blood she nuzzled his face and tried to lick the crimson stains away.

the King hobbled over to the other male, sitting before him, his looked over the other's wounds. They may have just fought, but they were family, Ling would not let anything go unchecked. He sighed and licked afew of Shaitani's more devilish wounds to clean them. Friendshio, and odd thing. "You may rest in the cave for this night, come morning next, if you can freely move, you may leave." He rose again, moving back to the cave. His queen was waiting

Shaitani felt Kun Yi beside him, and Ling sat above him, "Thank you," he said again. For everything - to stay for the night, Ling help for his owunds... He was so grateful, he could think of nothing else tp say, since he knew nothing could effectively show his gratitude.
"Kun Yi..," he said, smiling, turning his attention to his mate.

Maribelle had stayed near leanna during the whole fight. The fighting had scared her, but now with it over, her ears perked up in a curious manner, as she lifted her head from her laying position.
She got up, with nimble legs, and stretched, before trotting over behind the cave entrance, curiously peeking out to see what was going on. Pale blue eyes helled innocence, and curiosity,..would there be more fights like these in the future? and if so, just how many scars would the Kind have before his age toppled his reign?

"Oh Shaitani..." The red and black lioness hadn't heard the Kings words, so worried over her mate. Shaitani's smile was return with more nuzzles, a anxious purr. "What happened?"
She continued to clean his wounds, trying not to hurt him.
