He took the paper and pen, thinking for a second of how to write out his message, until he figured out what to say.
"Dear Chris, I want to apologize what happened to you on your birthday almost ten years ago.
You see, it was not my choosing as to transform you, but my old owners, the ones I was with that sad night.
A year later, they died, as they were only ruthless and cruel humans.
I've been watching you ever since then, making sure nothing too extreme ever happened to you.
And, I have something to admit to you.
That night was not the first time we had met, but it was when you were a young child, about three.
I've known you for this long because, I am infact, your cousin.
I'd like to see you again, but I'd understand if you wanted me to leave.

He handed the paper and pen back to Alex and nodded ebfore taking a drag from his cigarette, still in hand all this time.

Chris looked up and took the note from Alex, scanning it a bit before actually reading it.
He stood up and wiped the tears off his face.
"I want to see him.."

Chris followed Alex and Yuki upstairs until he reached the front door.
He was still frightened to see the man again, but he had to face his fears.
Looking back at the others first, he opened the door and walked outside, seeing the man standing against the wall.

Chris stepped back a bit, a little shocked.
"Y-Yes..

He turned to see Alex behind him, making him feel safer.
