Chrono began shaking but then let the steaks drop to the ground and sighed, "Fine... I won't injure him any further, but i won't heal him, and i won't release him from the wall either. So do what you want with him... Right now i need some alcohol and a blood bath..." Chrono turned, and grabbed a bottle of blood wine, then walked out the door to go to the tower.

Elenath was relived to not have to argue with Chrono, but she turned her anger at Hans or really Cortez. she looked at him with her eyes blazing. he pouted "Oh Elli, dont be that way. its been so long" "Not long enough!" she said and pressed her thumb on his forehead. "you will go back to your quiet trapped state, and remain there." He replied only with a frown and then seemed to go to sleep. ~~ Alumina looked at him blankly, "you dont need to yell. ne-way im gettin tired, do i sleep in game or do i tap out. kuz i dont know how to leave."

He laughed, "You're not in a game... There is no tapping out! your either in a coma or dead... or very heavily sleeping for many many days..."

Merril and her band of followers roamed the plains looking for Alumina. "So let me get this straight you were killed because you were so horribly disfigured from your last fight and hadn't died so some little girl killed you?" The man nodded; "She kept calling me a monster, and its wasn't like i could speak clearly with blood in my throat."
"Mistress Merril, dragons on the horizon!" Merril hissed and turned to look at the two shapes growing larger. "Great, just what we need, nosy dragons in our business, but lets just keep going. We are not doing anything wrong, and if they do stop say nothing at all."

SalSoon looked at the group on the ground up ahead; "Group of mixed demons, heading to the party I presume, but my my your old friend is with them." Quannah looked at Merril and growled; "Hopefully she is her normal self and Chrono rips her to pieces, I have no love for that woman whatsoever, and frankly she doesn't deserve an afterlife." SalSoon rumbled with laughter; "You still have issues after all this time, good lord Quannah let it go, besides your five times her skills now."

Merril watched them pass overhead; "Hmm, wing drappings, something important is going down, and kinda like to know what those two are doing." She turned; "Andrew, they are more then likely heading to the manor, go an observe, but don't do anything stupid. Those goody two shoes are up to something."
Merril's group came upon the box and moving around it looking for an opening the only one they found was very small. A few of the men tapped on the side of it. Merril examined the box for a few minutes; "The hole is big enough for a person." One of Merril's junior mistresses just approached the opening; 'Excuse me, is anyone home?"

SalSoon was getting a bad vibe the closer they got to the manor. "Quannah, i don't think we should go there just now, because something doesn't feel right." Quannah noted the change in the atmosphere above the Manor; "Yeah I think your right, perhaps Kaos will know what's happening, and with your forgetting stuff my wings are getting tired." SalSoon shook her head; "Weakling, you were pampered too much, now suck it up and turn, because you're making tired hearing you whine."
The small change in location actually cut their flight time down. They landed and Quannah looked at the house. "Is it just me or is Kaos not home?" SalSoon shrugged; "There is two people in the house, I can't tell for sure if its someone we know, but then again Kaos is a master psychic. He could hide is presence from us easily if he wanted to."
Quannah wrapped her amulet around her neck and looked a SalSoon. "Coming?" SalSoon shook her giant head; "No, I'm going to observe the manor from this distance, perhaps I'll find an answer from the currents of energy." Quannah sighed; "Just take precautions, Chrono won't like it if your digging around in his business, so if its something doesn't turn up after a few minutes don't go deeper understand?" SalSoon rumbled with laughter; "You sound like my mother." Quannah smiled; "Yeah well let me mother you to death then have you in serious hot water."
Quannah walked up to the door knocking, before she opened the door. "Hello, Master Kaos you home, its just Quannah, and were getting a bad feeling from the manor. So were stopping by to ask if we should continue on, or wait a few more hours?" Quannah didn't leave the entry but strained her ears for an answer from any direction.

Alumina got flustered at his remark "you dont just tell some one that their dead, its rude and mean." her voice squeaked a bit, and her eyes wattered a little. she heard a noise by the entrance/crack "Lady Butterfly?" she turned to see if she could recognize the person. ~~ Lucid leaped out of the bed and tripped on his underwear "s**t who's that?" he asked Akuma. they had been up to no good while Kaos was out. Lucid quickly put his pants back on and went to answer the door. he cracked it open just a bit, "who are you? Kaos isnt home." ~~ Elli was so worked up with what had happened with Hans, she decided she needed some air. she stepped outside and stood by the front door.

Quannah looked confused seeing Lucid; "My name is Quannah Bebus, I don't think we've met before, are you friends of Master Kaos, because maybe you could help us. You see several hours ago, we were here and Chrono came to collect Kaos for a wedding, and the invitation to the reception was passed along. Myself and SalSoon were on our way to the party, and well there's a bad feeling coming from the manor. So you wouldn't happen to know if the party is still going on and the bad feeling were getting should be ignored?"
Quannah was trying to ignore it, but it bugged her to the point she said something. "Not to sound rude sir, but there is lipstick on your cheek."

The junior mistress turned to look at Merril and Merril just nodded slightly so the junior mistress turned back to the opening. "Sorry, I'm probably not who you think I am, but the group of us are interested in meeting you. You're quite famous for killing monsters, want to come kill monsters with us, our leader extends her invitation."

"Lucid blushed a little, "Wait, u said Bebus? well come in!" Lucid opened the door for her. "I know Toole. Im Lucid, Akuma's husband. Look im sorry about my apearence, its just I have hardly gotten time to even kiss her since the wedding fell apart." Lucid put his hair back into place and wiped off the lipstick. "but about the mannor, i would stay away. My father is there, and hes all worked up."

Alumina looked surprised, "wow, im famous for killing monsters? I didnt know this game had fame too. well anyway, im going to have to decline your invitation, you see im already in a party with Quin, and i promised my friend that i would wait with him until she returns."

Quintessence had been wondering around for 3hrs, and hadn't found anything. i bet she has forgotten about the butter already she thought to herself and sighed. "I hope that guy hasn't eaten her or anything." Quin said to herself. she decided to turn back and find out what Alumina had been up to.

Akuma stumbled downstairs holding her head and wearing her kimono as a robe, "Wha-what's going on..." she grumbled, voice still scratchy. She noticed people standing in the kitchen and pulled her kimono tighter, "W-at are y-u d-ing here?" ~~~~~~~~~~ The beast rose to his feet and looked out the crack of his box, His bright red eyes glowing in the darkness, "More people?" he lifted a hand from the ground and looked at it, then stuck it out the crack and grabbed the woman, gently, and pulled her in, "Who are you?" the beast growled, Squinting to see her.

"Their here for your dad," Lucid gestured to Quannah "She's a Bebus, like Toole." ~~ Quin returned to find more people standing around the box. she noticed one of them had their arm in the creature's grasp. she approached them quietly. Alumina could see Quintessence approaching them, she greeted her with a warm smile.

Quannah and SalSoon both looked at each other Quannah looked at Akuma. "Honestly speaking we were on the way to your reception at the manor, but a bad feeling there prompted us to seek more information. We was hoping to ask Master Kaos, and your right Lord Lucid." Quannah looked at him; "Toole is my younger brother by a year." SalSoon spoke up; "I understand its none of my business and probably we should be going now, but are you alright Lady Akuma?" SalSoon grabbed a chair and brought it over setting it nearby; "Quannah we should go...Akuma is in no condition to entertain guests."

The junior mistress gulped a bit seeing Amo; "My name is Amanda, I'm an aide to Merril, and Merril wishes to speak with the woman over there." She answered honestly, considering she was on her own in front of a beast she had no clue if her power would be enough to kill.
The rest of Merril's people backed out of reach, Merril narrowed her eyes and turned in the direction Quin was coming from. However, as if she didn't see her she looked back a the box to see what would happen to Amanda.

Alumina giggled at them. "dont worry he wont hurt you. Hes very nice." She turned to Quintessence "This is my guardian Quin. She does most of the killing, she is a much better fighter than I."

Quannah shook her head; "We finished up here after Lord Chrono and Master Kaos left to prepare Akuma, and we left to return to our village and prepare ourselves for the reception. As with all residents here we are unaware of what goes on in the living. Nobody deserved what happened to you, Lady Akuma, or most of all to you Lucid." SalSoon gave Quannah a look and Quannah stepped back a bit and remained quietly standing in the kitchen.
SalSoon took a knee; "The matter is mute to us, and the problem as you voiced is dealt with. We offer our services in whatever manner you need them, or if you've no need we'll both be on our way to leave you two in peace."

Lucid acknowledged their offer but said "i have no need for your services here. but thank you for the offer." Lucid paused and a loud rumble thundered from his belly. embarrassed he laughed at himself "well maybe you could find me some fruit?"
