Riku shrugged at the offer as he walked outside with the slate-haired male. He really didn't care either way. "I got another apartment, where did you think I was going to go? The street?" Riku asked back. He didn't understand why Zexion was suddenly all over him with this combative worry. He thought that if anyone knew what he was thinking, it was Zexion. They had talked about this, and he thought Zexion understood that Riku had to get out. "I told you that I would check-in with you tomorrow, probably.... whoa, whoa, Zexion just stop. Stop with all of this." Riku told him as he cut him off. "Look, I am not saying you have to agree with my decisions or my actions or whatever, but how about you stop and think about the fact that I am your friend, and I have been for years. You, just like all of us, hadn't met Sora or Roxas up to just recently, too. How about you try and actually think about how hard this has been for me? Two, I am a grown adult. I am not this rebellious sixteen year old running away from home. I can't take anymore of this, Sora broke up with me, and I feel completely broken inside. I thought I knew who I was, I thought I had my life together, and now, I feel like I am self-destructing...so I am leaving, I'm throwing in the towel, because if I lose even one more piece of myself to that kid in there, I won't ever be okay, I won't ever recover." Riku told his friend feeling his eyes starting to tear up as he cracked.

"So hate me if you want, and you know what, Axel can go on and hate me too, if none of you want to be my friend, who needs you." Riku told the slate-haired male as he pushed his way his tears and his so-called friend. The silver-haired male then walked away down the stairs as he held back tears. He could feel pain springing up in his arm from the stress of all of it, but he pushed onward. His new apartment was on the other side of the complex, but he definitely was walking away like he was leaving town.

Zexion felt like he was at a loss as Riku turned his back on him. His words hurt, and he knew Riku was broken right now, but that didn't make it any better. "God, you're such an a**!" he ground out suddenly between his teeth. "We've all tried to help you, Riku, you know that? And I get it--you're not an open person. But god-damnit, if you would just open up a little to us--your ******** friends--every once in a while, maybe you wouldn't feel like such a pile of s**t, you think? And you're right: we just met Roxas and Sora. But god damnit if they're not our friends, too. We assured them they were part of our family, and that doesn't make them above or below any of us who have been together longer, so what a d**k thing to say. We're all important, Riku, and we all have ******** problems, not just you. I know it's hard to ******** believe. But go! Go live in your little emotional closed-off world and cool the ******** off, because damnit if you aren't going to regret your decision as much as Sora regrets his," he spat at him, furious with the whole situation, mostly with how bratty Riku was being about everything. Zexion was usually the calm and collected one of them all, so it was very, very rare for him to blow up like this. "When you decide to be a ******** human being and a friend again, then you can 'check up with me'. Until then, I don't want to see you. Because I don't know who you ******** are anymore," he sneered, scrubbing a tear off of his face with his palm. He then entered the apartment and had to restrain from slamming the door as hard as he wanted. It did close a bit loudly, stirring Sora who then went right back to sleep.

Zexion rushed out to the balcony, feeling himself on the verge of exploding. He closed the doors in a hurry and gripped onto the balcony, trying to hold himself together as tears poured down his cheeks. Slowly, he sunk to the floor, hugging his knees tightly as he sobbed. "********!" he screamed, throwing his head back before curling into himself again. He was pretty sure he just lost all of them a friend, and now the band was going to fall apart. It was already falling apart. Some manager he was. Great friend, too. Riku needed help just like the rest of them, he just refused to let any of them help--and he was being such a brat about it. Sora and Riku really were a match made in heaven--they both made rash decisions they would soon regret.

Riku stopped hearing Zexion speak back at him. His words made Riku feel like he was being torn in two different direction. He knew he couldn't stay there anymore, but Zexion had a point. Running away from the situation was the easy way out. Riku knew that, but he couldn't take the pressure anymore. Yes, they were all trying to "be there" for Riku, but not in the way that he needed. He needed someone to be on his side, and everyone was taking Sora's like Riku broke up with him. But it wasn't like that all. Riku went past his comfort zones to be there for Sora. He had his freaking arm broken trying to be there for the brunette, but Sora told him that they couldn't be together. He said that Riku wasn't ready and heck maybe he wasn't. This was all just a colossal mistake that screwed everyone over. Riku should have never let Sora in the way he did. "Zex-"he mumbled as he turned back around to look at his friend, but the slate haired male's words came crashing down on him. Riku began to pour down tears as his friend, who had started off by just yelling at him about how much this was a mistake, now was telling him to leave. The silverette stood there with tears rushing down his face as Zexion left. He stood there for a good five minutes unmoving until he turned back around.

He couldn't go back now. Zexion was right, he was such a waste of a human being. He couldn't stay, and because he couldn't stay, apparently he couldn't come back either. Stumbling as he walked, Riku slowly went to his new apartment. When he got there, the first thing he did was throw down the duffle bag and pull out his phone. He needed to be gone, he couldn't handle being apart of this world anymore. Riku dialed one of his more... Questionable friends, Hayner. Over the phone, he quickly told him to score whatever he could get, drugs, alcohol, it didn't matter at this point, and come over to his new apartment. His friend was generally surprised at first since he thought Riku quit drugs, but he figured once and addict always an addict, and the blonde accepted as long as some friends could tag along.

Of course, Hayner wasn't swore to keep this a secret or anything on the phone call, so the first thing he did before calling his dealer was post on Facebook, "About to go get turnt up with my old friend, Riku! #oldhabitsdiehard." Which then came back to Demyx fifteen minutes later since Demyx had went to high school with Hayner, and he was still friends with him on Facebook. "What the hell?!" Demyx practically screamed as he startling up. "Axel! I don't mean to be a girl about this, but you have to see what Hayner, you know the druggie from high school, just posted on Facebook!" Demyx yelled as he went from laying down and just waking up to up and scrambling into the kitchen to show the redhead.

Axel jumped a little from his seat at the table when Demyx's voice broke through his thoughts. "What?" he croaked then cleared his voice, trying to focus his eyes on the screen Demyx thrusted into his face. As soon as he read the words, he cursed, letting Demyx's words sink in. "Riku swore he wouldn't talk to him again, damnit," he growled, finding Hayner's number he kept in his phone in case of something like this. As soon as the blond picked up, Axel growled into the phone, "Hayner, I swear to ******** god. I don't care what Riku says, don't you ******** go over there. You leave him alone, because I will keep the threat I made to you back then, do you hear me? He doesn't need drugs right now. Now where did Riku tell you to go?" he said in a menaching voice, stomping into the livingroom and slipping his shoes on, grabbing his keys and his wallet. "Come on, Dem. Don't worry about being properly dressed, just get your shoes on," he told him, eyes kind of cold considering the situation. "Hayner, I know you know who this is. Tell me. Where. To ********. Go," he gritted out between his teeth and locked the apartment before helping Demyx down the stairs as quickly as he could.

Hayner reluctantly answered his phone as he read his caller ID. He figured he could finally tell the redhead off since he was able to stick up for himself now. "Whatever, he was my friend first before the two of you took him from me to start your stupid band, I liked him better when he was on drugs and I am not going to rat him out now if he has finally broken way from you scum," Hayner told the redhead sticking up for his "friend". Plus, he had already ordered the drugs as well, so someone had to pay for those. "******** you, if you know your friend so well, you can find him yourself," Hayner hissed as Axel continued to try and tell him what do to. The blonde then hung up on the redhead. It was safe to say that even though he hadn't gotten wiser, he had gotten bolder. Hayner was also already on his way to Riku's apartment, so he was pretty dead set on this happening. Riku was famous now, and Hayner knew if he could get in with him now, he could make a name for himself.

Demyx frowned seeing Axel get more mad when Hayner hung up on him. "Let's just think about this okay? He doesn't have another apartment, so maybe something happened with Sora or Zexion or something, and now, they aren't at his apartment. Why don't you call Zexion and see what is going on his end." Demyx told the Axel in a worried tone. He was worried for his friend, but he was also worried Axel was going to hurt someone, if he didn't calm down.
PostPosted: Tue Sep 16, 2014 10:17 pm

Axel felt anger boil inside of him as Hayner hung up. He opened the door for Demyx when he reached his car and shoved himself down into his seat, starting it up and calling Zexion simultaneously.

Zexion had been staring up at the sky blankly for about five minutes when his phone rang. "Yeah?" he answered softly, voice bland. Axel cursed on the other line. "Zexion, where's Riku?" he asked urgently, waking Zexion up from his lack of brain function slightly. "Uhh...I would guess at his new apartment. He said it's in the building...he moved out and gave his to Sora and Roxas. Why, what's wrong?" Axel cursed again and sped out of the apartment complex. "Zexion, you'll need to go find out which apartment that is, because Hayner's on his way over there, I'm guessing with friends, because Riku called out to him for drugs. Zexion, he can't go back to that place. He can't."

Zexion jumped into action, scrambling to his feet. "Yeah, just come to the complex. And stay on the phone. I'll get it from Darlene in the office," he told him, hauling a** out of the apartment and down to the front office. "Darlene!" he practically shouted as he entered the small office area. "Darlene, it's an emergency. Riku just came down and leased a new apartment. I need to know which one it is, like, now. Please, he's about to do something really stupid and unsafe, and I have to stop him," he told her urgently, pleading with her to give him the information. Meanwhile, Axel drove as fast as he could towards the apartment complex, rying to get there as fast as possible. Zexion may be able to get to Riku fast enough, but Axel wanted to deal with Hayner. The blond may have gotten bolder, but Axel had gotten bulkier and taller, not to mention the willpower behind protecting his friend.

Minutes went by like seconds as Riku waited for Hayner to show up. With a knock at his door, Riku got off the complimentary couch and answered it. "Hey, man! You will never guess what happen to me on the way over here, your douche of a friend, Axel, called and basically told me to back off, like how is this any of his business? Anyways, man, how have you been? You look like s**t, did you have a bad day? Here man, you might need the whole case more than I do," he laughed as he handed Riku the case of beer he brought. In his wake, there was a brunette girl that entered the apartment with him and began to take it in. "This is sweet, is it new? It doesn't look like you have much stuff here, yet." She asked looking around. "Oh this is Olette, by the way, she hangs with me sometimes," Hayner spoke up quickly, so Riku would know who she was.

Riku bit his lip hearing Axel had found out about them hanging out. If Axel didn't hate him before, he definitely did now. Back in high school, Axel was that friend that had found Riku at rock bottom, picked him up, told him to get his crap together, and helped him through it. Looking back, if Axel hadn't found Riku passed out at that party, they probably wouldn't have ever met and Riku probably would have been dead long before now. "I have been better, thanks for this... You have no idea how much I need this." Riku told the blonde as he shut and locked the door behind Hayner and his guest. Riku, as they looked around, moved to the couch and sat back down. He, without hesistation, opened up the case and opened a beer. It was no where near good enough to completely numb him, but it was a start. "Yeah, I just moved in today, I kind of had to leave my old apartment in a hurry, so this is what I have for now," Riku answered the girl after finding out her name.

"Oh, why did you have to move out so quickly?" She asked as the two joined him on the couch.

"Well, I kind of adopted some homeless kids and then some stuff happened and I broke my arm, and in the end, I fell in love with someone that didn't love me back, and it is complicated, and I really would rather just not talk about it, you know?" Riku told her as they both opened up beers and started drinking like Riku was already.

"Man, I totally get where you are coming from, bitches will break your heart in a second if you let them, that is why you can't let them get the best of you," Hayner told Riku. Riku just smiled weakly at him as he tipped his drink back again. He could tell the blonde was trying to cheer him up. "Oh, and don't worry about forgetting, I got some top grade stuff coming, I sent our friend Pence to go get it, and he should be here in no time," Hayner added to his statement with a smirk as he drank some more out of the can of beer he had.

Riku nodded as he looked back down at his can of his beer. If he took drugs again, he knew that Axel would probably never speak to him again... And Zexion already wasn't... All that left was for him to find a life choice to make Demyx hate him, too.

The woman at the front desk looked up at Zexion with a bit of worry at his hurry. "Oh sweetie, I am so sorry. I can't give out confidential information without the tentent's permission, like that." She said as a frown developed on her face. "If you are really worried about his safety though, I can call the police or the landlord to go check on the apartment, but I can't just give the information out to you, it would be a violation of his rights." She told the slate-haired male softly. If it was different circumstances, she probably would have let it slide, but Riku had moved apartments pretty quickly, so she had to wonder if he was running away from someone. "If you want my advice, just call him and see if you can't get him to tell you himself, it would be a lot faster than any other option," she offered to Zexion after a second though. She didn't want him to think she was trying to be unhelpful on purpose.

Axel went silent as Riku hung up the phone, and set it down in the middle console a little roughly. "He better ******** not..," he said, straight voice pretty strained. "Not after what we did to pull him out of that s**t-hole. He better not," he gritted out, hands gripping the steering wheel tighter.

Riku began to mellow out as he sat there and caught up with Hayner. Back before the band, Riku really did consider Hayner his closet friend, so it was nice to see how he was doing. Of course, being around someone that didn't make him the bad guy made him feel better, too. The two didn't care about the details or how it played out in the end, they cared that Riku seemed out of sorts by how his day had went. Yeah, Riku realized that he brought a lot of the problems on himself and some of this was his fault, but it wasn't all his fault. Being with them, he finally felt like someone was generally trying to be his friend, rather than just trying to get him over his "insignificant" problems to keep the peace. This whole time, he just wanted someone to understand that Sora had hurt him, and that wasn't something that can be pushed under the rug or hushed because someone else was having a "bigger" problem. He just wanted someone to understand and not push him away saying he was being childish. Even if he was, it still hurt that none of his friends gave a crap long enough to see that this whole ordeal wasn't childish to him.

Hayner told stories and laughed with Riku like the past few years had melted away. Riku had become so comfortable, that he actually startled hearing his phone ring, all of a sudden. After glancing down at his phone, Riku chugged the little bit left in his drink as he stood up. "Hey, I gotta take this call, just chill out here, I shouldn't be too long." He told the two before he walked into the back room. Taking a deep, calming breath, he answered the phone as he shut the door to the bedroom. "Look Zexion, if you have called to yell at me some more or continue to tell me how much a terrible person I am, I get it. I am the worse person to ever walk the Earth, and I have made the worst decision I could have ever made. You don't have to keep telling me it, because frankly, you made it pretty clear that you think I am worthless. You don't have to worry about me anymore, because I got the freaking message, and I'm not coming back. You guys will be much happier without me there to screw everything up," Riku told him as he got it all of his plate before Zexion could interrupt him by yelling at him or anything like that.

Demyx's frown grew as Axel grew more and more angry. "Axel, maybe we should just stop and think about this a little, okay? He isn't thinking clearly right now, and I doubt he is doing this to specifically hurt us. Riku wasn't in the most stable conditions when we left yesterday, and everything in that apartment was well on its way to erupting into chaos. Maybe we didn't see how much he needed us yesterday, i mean think about it, Ax, when has he ever kicked us out of his apartment like that? Maybe he finally just snapped and that is why he is turning back to drugs. We need to help him right now, not push him away farther with anger." Demyx told Axel in a loving and caring way. He definitely didn't want the redhead to turn his anger back onto him.
PostPosted: Wed Sep 17, 2014 11:30 am

Zexion breathed a sigh of relief when Riku answered. "Oh, thank god," he whispered, then went to talk, but Riku started up instead. As soon as he finished, Zexion started up. "No, Riku, I don't think you're worthless. I don't," he told him, exasperation in his voice. "I was being unfair and hypocritical when I said all of that, and I'm sorry. Like I said, we're all family, no matter how long we've been together. I just...usually I can fix the problems that come up with us all, but lately everything's just so ******** up, and I'm worried about everyone that I got frustrated. I'm sorry I yelled. Your problems are just as important as Sora's and Roxas's and mine and everything. I've just been so focused on Sora and his attack and Roxas with his medication and panic attacks and Demyx with Larxene's attack that I feel overloaded, and just...exploded at you. I want us to be fine again, but it's not going to be that way any time soon. But, Riku, resorting to drugs again isn't going to help. It's just going to make your and everyone's situations worse, so please... please, know that no matter how pissed off I get at you, that I am your friend, and I'll eventually actually listen to you when you obviously need help. I may not be a good manager, like, at all, but I can try to be a friend. Please. Which apartment are you at now? I'll come up and listen and apologize face-to-face," he pleaded, looking up along the buildings.

Axel took a deep breath when Demyx spoke to him. "I know, Dem. I'm just pissed that he went to Hayner before even calling us. He knows that I'm here for him. I've always been here for him, whether we were fighting or not. I've always been here to listen to any problems he had, and instead he went to Hayner. I'm not going to blow up at him. I hadn't planned on it. I just want to know what's going on with him, so don't worry. We'll start pulling everything back together again soon enough," he told him, reaching over and sliding his hand in Demyx's as he drove with the other one. "I promise we'll come out of all of this okay eventually."

Riku felt tears coming back to his eyes. The way this day was going, he didn't think he would ever stop crying. "...Zexion, I don't want to come up to my apartment, I-I just want to let this all go. I can't take any of this world anymore. I know you and everyone else is going to hate me if you guys don't already, but I-I need this, I need him out of my head for even just a couple of hours. I just want to be whole again... I-I don't want to feel like this another second, because I feel like I'm dead inside when I think about how I can't be there for him." Riku told his friend as he unsuccessfully tried to hold back his sobs.

As he cried into the phone, there was soon a voice in the background asking if he was okay and what was going on. "Sorry.. I-I just don't know w-what to do anymore with myself.."he sobbed to the other person, before Riku's sobs grew quieter as someone else took the phone. "Look, I don't know who you are or what is going on, but you need to leave Riku alone, he is in a really bad place right now, and he doesn't need you or anyone else calling him and making him feel any worse," a girl's voice spoke quickly before Olette hung up the phone. She quickly turned the phone off and tuck it in her back pocket to keep Riku from trying to call the other person back.

Demyx nodded, worriedly as he noticed they were pulling into the parking lot of Riku's apartment complex. "Look, there is Zexion," Demyx pointed out before barely waiting until the car was stopped to get out and run to him. "Zexion, Zexion, did you find out where Riku is?" He asked quickly right as he seemed to get off of the phone.
PostPosted: Wed Sep 17, 2014 1:05 pm

Zexion felt tears pool into his eyes as well when Riku began telling him he didn't want their help. "Riku, please. I can bring you some vodka or something, just--" Suddenly, there was another voice in his ear. He was about to begin pleading with this woman when she hung up on him. He stared at his phone for a second before finally hanging it up and sliding it in his pocket. When Demyx ran up to him, he turned to him slowly. "No...Looks like it's time to do it the old-fashioned way," he told him, looking up at Axel as he walked up to them. The redhead frowned deeply. "I'll start beating on doors. You go see if you can get it out of your friend again. Come on, Dem. You start on the lower floors, and I'll start up top," he told him and gave him a swift kiss on the cheek. "Call me if you find him, alright?" He gave him a small smile then started up the stairs, knocking on the doors.

Zexion nodded to Axel's instructions and went back inside. "Darlene, please..," he said quietly, leaning on her desk. "My friends are going around knocking on every door. He's in a bad place right now, but he doesn't need police barging in. We can't even tell them where to go because we don't know which one he's in. Please, Darlene. I was just on the phone with him, but someone who's there took it from him before I could talk to him. Please," he begged her. "You know I'm an honest person. I wouldn't do anything bad with the information. I'm just trying to help a friend."

Demyx nodded to the three before they all seperated. Demyx had done as Axel asked and started down the lower floors, but he had barely even got to the first door when he saw someone getting into the elevator. "Ugh... Where do I know him from.... Where, where, whe-.. Wait!" Demyx yelled before he bolted down the hall to the elevator. He missed it, but he could see what floor he was going to. Mashing the button as fast as he could he called the elevator back to the first floor. He wasn't sure, but he was almost positive that was Pence, who was friends with Hayner. He had to be here to visit Hayner, there was no way that with everything going on that Pence was in the apartment complex by chance. He was going to the third floor, and without thinking, Demyx turned and ran up the stairs to get there faster.

As he got to the third floor, he could feel himself getting dizzy from over-exerting himself. "Ugh... I shouldn't have done that..." He breathed heavily as he leaned against the wall right outside the stairwell. Looking down the hall, he noticed Pence going into one of the apartments, but he couldn't even really tell which one. Weakly, Demyx slid down the wall needed to just stay stable. The hallway was starting to spin. Unable to obvious carry on himself, Demyx pulled out his phone and dialed Axel's number "...hey, I think, I found him... I just kind of worn myself out... But I am in the third floor hallway... Umm, yeah, assistance would be greater appreciated." Demyx told the redhead as he breathed into the phone.

The woman behind the desk sighed. She wasn't supposed to do that, but she really felt for him. She knew the whole band were nice kids, but she was really conflicted by the decision. "Okay, okay, but please don't do anything I will have to call the police to response to. I can't lose this job. If he doesn't open the door, you have to just walk away, okay? I am only giving you this information to check and make sure he is okay, nothing more. Do not do anything that will make me regret giving this." She told him before walking from the desk to a filing cabinet. She pulled out a file, and glanced at it for a moment. "He bought the lease for 310, the big suite on the third floor, this morning, I assume that is the one you are looking for," she told the slate-haired male, carefully. In her head, she figured it was okay, because he was their personal manager so it was his job to know where they were. Plus it would probably save the complex the headache, because it was also illegal for them to go through and knock on every door.
PostPosted: Thu Sep 18, 2014 11:28 am

"Thank you, Darlene. Thank you so much!" he called to her before rushing out of the office and straight to the stairs. He wasn't going to wait for the damn elevator. Once he reached the third floor, he just about tripped over Demyx. "s**t! Dem, are you okay?" he asked frantically, kneeling down beside him. That was when Axel came running down the stairs from above and almost barreled into them both. He hadn't even slid his phone back in his pocket. "Dem, Baby, you gonna hold up?" he asked, kissing the top of his head. He looked at Zexion, figuring that if he was up here he knew the room. "310," he told him, gesturing behind him. Axel nodded. "Baby, you stay here with Zexion. I'll take care of this," he told him, running his fingers through his hair lightly before standing and rushing over tot he door. He checked the number then tried the door knob, scowling when it was locked. Well, at least they were smart, he guessed. So he knocked calmly on the door, scowling up at the eye-hole built into it.
