"I just can't stand the fact that I am making someone else's life harder." Why did this have to have so many twists. Koh just fell then. He fell to his stomach and just laid there. He had just been through a whole lot and his enery was completely drained. He couldn't even get off the stone floor.

"Koh-kun!" Aoki shouted, now dashing down the stairs, putting a hand on his arm. "Koh-kun, that girl wasn't like us, think about it, she said we make others lives harder, but whatshe did to us confined us to staying here, never leaving. She made our lives harder!" Aoki called, quickly trying to figure out how to help him. "Here, I'll pick you up, but first you need to calm down."

"I don't think that calming down is the problem." Koh was already fairly calm. In fact. He was very calm. He stayed on the floor, not moving for a while, then he pushed himself and looked up into Aoki's eyes. He was very vunerable and he didn't know if she could see rigth through him or not, but it wouldn't have been very hard.

{ Sorry I had to leave Life-san! ;_; It was almost midnight, or somewhere around there, and my sister and her friends were storming upstairs, if I didn't keep them in order, my parents would be seriously pissed right now. ^_^;;; }
Aoki sighed. How could she help a friend when they had totally different outlooks on the same matter. Aoki thought that the immortal thieves didn't have a bad reputation for killing people, or getting hurt, but they had a reputation for stealing things. Aoki really could remember the last time she was hurt in battle.
"Koh, I guess this is kinda something you have to figure out on your own for now. I guess we have a little bit of a different view on the matter." Aoki let out a small smile, but got up and glanced up the stairs. "I have to leave for a mission today, so I guess we can't hang around. Later."
Aoki quietly tip-toes up the stairs. She would have helped him, but because she didn't have the slightest idea where to start, Aoki couldn't help him is she wanted to.
'Ugh... This is all Melora's fault.' Aoki thought sadly. 'She ruined everyone's happiness! Even mine!'
Aoki, unfortunatly, was correct. Koh was different, Shinobu was different, even Nadeshiko, who was the new sunshine of the world, was under a rain cloud. Again, Aoki found herself thinking the same thing she thought constantly.
Sighing, she looked up at the rafters. 'Alone...'

Tomoyo turned and walked back to the theater, since Izumo was already talking to Shinobu. As she tread silently through the halls silently, she heard Koh and Aoki's conversation, their emotions and feelings clear to Tomoyo. Unexpectedly, a strange and potent bitterness welled up in her. At least Aoki and Koh had each other. Herself, on the other hand, distanced herself from everyone, living in her own little world. Nia blocked her emotions ot turned them into anger, while Saku simply didn't care. They lived their lives. Tomoyo didn't. She barely reacted to what went on beyond her own little world, selfish in her aloofness. Once, she might have had something that she truly valued. Now all she had was her threads and fabrics, a weak replacement. She strode up to her room. She needed to get away.

[I'm sorry everyone, I've totally ditched you all and missed the last few days due to a combined fault of Super Smash Bros. Melee and a rather large weekend sleepover. I hope that you all can forgive me, and I can catch up on some of this piling mail.]

Shinobu gave Izumo a solemn look, searching for the proper words to say to express what she was feeling without making Izumo feel any worse. It was difficult to think of that something so small could change so much, not just the fact that, completely by , Melora's life had been ruined, but what about all the other lives being ruined everyday from the wounds that the theives shrugged off? It was a horrible feeling. "Melora may not be my fault, but we all share fault, everyone of us thieves, we all do the same, we're immortal. Even without injries, as we gae, who takes our age for us? Whose life do we cut in half?" Shinobu noticed as Izumo stood up, looking hesitant and yet so strong to leave. "Are you going to go now?" she asked, looking up at him with wide eyes.

Izumo gave a sighing laugh.
"You know, I never thought that far ahead. I wouldn't even know where to go. I mean," he stopped, thinking of what he would say next.
"Where do you go, when your someone like we all are? Worse yet, where does someone, something, like me go? Before this, battle was a game of strategy, I only did damage when necessary. Now... I can't even count the number of lives I've taken, lives, like Melora's, that I've ruined. You yourself saw it, how I can simply rush into a fight, uncaring of both myself and my enemy. Ever since I've become immortal, I've cut down anyone and everyone in my way; there was no discretion in the pain I dealt out."
Pausing for a moment, Izumo looked toward the horizon, where the first rays of dawn were already beginning to caress the sky.
"Where then, Shinobu, does one such as myself go?"

She sighed, her mind trying to seperate one series of events from another. Her life seemed so complicated, and if only for the reason that she couldn't quite remember her past. There was some history to her, but that history did not date back very long. Every piece of her childhood had been snatched away from her, and for what reason? She was immortal; she and everyone that was now important to her. They were a band of thieves, a band of immortal thieves. Who knew what they would face in the future? Emiko could be standing here, on this balcony, two hundred years from now and the world would've completely changed.
Truthfully, she found it exciting. Emiko would've chosen to be immortal any day, and perhaps that was what she had done, knowing the consequences. Perhaps the self that she had forgotten had wanted this for her. But all she could ask herself now was why. Why did she choose immortality? Was her life so bad that forgetting all of it was for the best? Was she even remotely similar to the person she had long forgotten?
"Curse it," she muttered, hands reaching up to run through her hair. She had a tendency to do that when she was both frustrated and in a flirtatious mood. Emiko was nearly always flirtatious, but frustrated? No. It was only when she fell into this mind set, fell into these deep thoughts that she became frustrated. There were so many questions left unanswered, and it attacked her brain every time she thought of everything she did not know.
Immortality did not bug her, but the lack of knowledge did. Emiko knew about herself, but at the same time there were so many things she just did not know. "Things should be made a whole lot simpler," and despite the grumpiness she clearly displayed her voice was sweet, melodic in a sense. It was as if she could never truly get out of that mind set of flirting with the opposite gender. Her original tone of voice had fled away after Emiko became too used to flirting. It was an undying habit, and Emiko was sure to keep it alive.
(( >____> Gah, short, and I'm suffering a brain fart. But now everyone can see my perception of Emiko. -bows- ))
