I fear for Maartin when he meets Natalie... especially with the mood she's in today... *not to mention fears the amount of trouble her char will get into* With my luck, half the student council would be there when they bump into each other.

Somehow, I can't see Natalie posing that much of a threat to Maarten in particular. I'm sorry, but a slender young woman trained in sword-fighting would not do much damage to a well-muscled jock who most likely has gotten into may fist-fights. Dexterity-wise, she would be able to dodge and hit him without him reacting quickly enough to stop her. However, his endurance is higher, her punches would not be as damaging to him, and he would certainly be able to, pardon my lack of subtley, send Natalie flying into a wall.
And then BOTH of them would be suspended, Maarten possibly expelled.

Wow, you just described her as little... that's incredible. Again, I'll tell you to never underestimate anyone. As far as endurance goes, if you've ever ridden a horse for a long period of time, you'd understand the type of endurance that takes. I'm sorry if you can't get past size to understand that. Also, having very long legs he's at a disadvantage if someone manages to trip him up, and let me tell you, that crap hurts bad enough at five foot even. I'm not saying she'd beat him, but he wouldn't forget her for quite a long time. Course, she would be bruised for a good bit too and wouldn't forget that fight.
Being that he's homophobic, he's likely to tick her off quite a bit.
As far as suspension goes.... well, Natalie's already in big trouble >.< And if Maarten got expelled, whoo for everyone else >.>

If size IS the issue, it would be the superior muscle weight and ability to take larger degrees of pain. Maarten would outlast Natalie in a straight up fist fight, despite her stamina and flexibilty. That's all we're saying. But here again, in his profile it says he's an INTELLIGENT and cunning bully...getting physical with a girl in that way would serve no real purpose, and he's clever enough to know that. Insults and sharp biting threats would serve better, but even then there's a time and place. He's a master at arrogantly turning a situation to his advantage. But I don't think this will really come as an issue. Given his personality and depending on the setting, he would most likely not even consider Natalie worth dealing with: A) She's a girl B) She's foreign C) She's weaker than himself So he'd probably be an a** and blow off a confrontation with her entirely. xd

In that case, it'd probably be smarter for her to laugh him off like she normally would. Not that it would even piss him off, but that's how she normally deals with bullies. I'd say he better not pick on Bade but, well, that would be really boring wouldn't it? ^^

Your character hasn't been experienced in fights, and Maarten has. He'll be expecting you to do the things you listed, and your lack of experience means that Natalie wouldn't be quick-thinking enough to think of all those things you've listed. So your point is pretty moot. Besides, size is a lot; you saying "you can't get past size" really tells me that you haven't actually been in a fight. You might be able to get around that with skill, but Natalie isn't experienced. Your character is smaller, and therefore probably faster, but her punches aren't going to put a dent in him. But again, Natalie's not experienced; she wouldn't know how to use her height to her advantage. My family's body type has made us into weightlifters, linebackers, etc. I look like a shorter version of Adelaide in real life. And I can tell you from the scrapes that I've been in and seen that this is true. Experience is the only thing that trumps size. Experience pretty much can get past everything, and I've seen it happen. But if you don't know what you're doing in a fight and the person is bigger than you, short of a miracle, you're pretty much screwed. And I have ridden horses, and it does give you endurance; but that won't help you when someone knocks the wind out of you a minute into the fight. You'll just keep getting back up again to deliver weak punches, only to be punched back into the ground. I'm sorry, but Natalie even denting Maarten is completely unrealistic.

*giggles* Thankies Pyro. I think he's sort of funny, because he never talks, and when he does, it's so soft x.x And he's so small and easy to bully, like Natalie's opposite.
