You can get them on the soles and sides but they fade super fast, give it a few months and it probably wont be there any more. It's something to do with the skin being rubbed away and renewed a lot faster there 'cause you're walking on it a lot I think. Same goes for palms of your hands. 'cause you use them a lot.
A friend of mine's learning how to tat so I let him practice on my foot so I wouldn't have to worry about covering it up in the future. :3
It was crazy, not like a normal tattoo at all. The bit's on the ball of my foot hurt like ******** (So much I almost kicked him in the face a few times) but the heel I couldn't feel at all, just felt like pressure, it didn't bleed, didn't scab over and once it was done didn't hurt at all to step on. The only hard bit is trying to keep it clean.
Getting a new tattoo tomorrow from a proper tattooist so I'm looking forward to that, even if it isn't anything very big. I seem to be addicted to having needles stuck in my skin. razz

Such is life when you start getting tattoos. I've already got a ridiculous number more planned, and I was a little b***h on my first one. No crying, but according to my sister and my friend who went with me, the look on my face when he turned the needle back on after leaving it off for about thirty seconds (he was apparently looking for anything he needed to fill in) was priceless. I have loads planned too. xD I'm trying to be careful though, don't want to end up looking like a sideshow. Women with too many tattoo's don't like right to me.
I have three at the moment but when I have the money I'm kick starting on my big side extension. heart I can't wait, it's going to be awesome if I can find a good enough tattooist.
When I went to get my first one done I actually went white and couldn't stop shaking while I was waiting, she was late by an hour too so it was getting worse and worse the longer it went on but when it came to getting it done I thought it tickled more than anything. The only one I've had that hurt so far was my foot but I have a pretty good pain tolerance.
This is the one I got done on Friday, all scabbed up nice on my wrist:
My mum and little sister also got one but my sister passed out after hers and it was the smallest of the three so I guess it just shows everyone's different.
