Charcoal is fun but getting it of your hands sucks and your face. (charcoal hand to face = streeked face)
I should try and find my charcoal raven picture. and post that, it's my favorite charcoal piece by me. *goes to look for it*

Manyome - I like graphite because you can erase over and over and over...at least, on good quality paper. Yes, Nyome is my prettiness mentor! Nyome I love your art it always looks so good, and makes me smile.
Free cookies for life and all I have to do is give you a little action, very tempting I'll think it over.
I just remember all my old artwork is at my moms house and I don't think I'll run over there to get it today, maybe monday when she's at work.
Less than 3 1/2 hours left till change.
And now I'm going to go get me the cooler best I wants something to drink and they're cheap. I'll be back at twelve (my time) to show myself off.

Manyome - Graphite is just a special way of saying "pencil". LOL And yes, it can leave horrendous streaks if you're not careful. Not nearly as bad as charcoal, though, becaue graphite can be easily erased.
Yes, AD shall study Nyome's Way of Ze Pretty and learn...

xd ;; well, pencil works. I've tried those chunky charcoal pens. >_> those SUCK. and soft charcoal refuses to stay on the paper at all, while hard charcoal breaks my wrist when I try to use it. 3nodding i use medium charcoal with a touch of soft charcoal for blending, and a blending stick, cuz frankly I need it. XD no eraser, cuz it doesn't make a bit of difference anyways.
Nyome's way of ze Pretty. o_O sounds like a pamphlet.
whee no prob but...O_O wow. hair can take 5 hours?

Yes, hair can take 5 hours. stressed I had to draw each bloody strand and erase for the highlights and...and...argh. I damn well SENT that one irl to the commissioner so someone could appreciate it.

xd I love peeling them apart. heart I bought a set of 12..and now I don't know where they are. ;-; I only got them cuz they were so tiny and cute. whee little wrapped up sticks of..

eek wow... sweatdrop i never found hair that hard. or ...5 hours worthy. well I understand the strand by strand thing. whee that's how i always color my hair- strand, by strand, by strand. XD;; in 3-4 colors, so hundreds of strands. thing is, it only takes about 20 min-1 hour to do, cuz the way I think is that when doing hair. o_O it's best just to STOP THINKING. it'll come naturally, and hair flows. when you think about where the hair goes, it turns out dead. xp so I "shut off" my brain when doing hair and just let it come.

CGing hair is easy. Using pencil, however, is (*%^ing HARD!
Thanks. At the time, I think the prize was a Jan and Feb letter, so it's fairly valuable now.

O-o;; using pencil is a PAIN. >_< especially with a really bad pencil. *rememebers when she tried to shade long long hair with a .5 mechanical pencil that broke every 2 minutes* @_@
