As dawn touched the sky, Yue still sat cross-legged in the garden, deep in a meditative state almost akin to real sleep. The light caused a subliminal change. She switched positons. Her posture slackened, and she slouched languidly to the ground until she rested prostrate on the ground, her hair splayed out behind her like a silvery river. But to anyone watching her, it would not seem that she had woken at all, merely transitioned fluidly from trance to sleep. The sun rose, and Yue's exhausted body slept on.

His night of questioning the stars ended as the sun broke the prominent night, fading it out of reality. Suki's soft eyes reflected the new found sunlight, he wished the night's abyss could have graced his presence for longer. He had spent the whole night interrogating the stars for an answer even they did not bear. The one puzzle that plagued his own mind, soul, and existance. Everytime he was faced with a problem, he strategically made a plan of attack at all angles of it with his mind. This usually conquered the majority of hardships he faced day to day, but he could never unravel the mysteries of his own immortality. He rustled about a bit at the thought of it, in the dewy grass. Suki was the second youngest boy of the group of thiefs he accompanied. Though he did not associate with them well, they were his family none the less. Suki was a very gifted young child, he was very sharp, and his mind could bear countless burdens and solve them without great strain. His older brother, Tao, had embarked on a mission to train Suki to be like himself. Tao was an incredible person in Suki's eyes, he had no idea how he knew they were related. Tao possesed the highest caliber of fighting skills he had ever seen. Suki found it an honor to be trained by such a fighter who could change the world with his own two hands. Suki would do anything to impress him, but this usually shook his mind from the state of tranquility he had grown to love. His appearance was quite somber, he had faded white hair that danced in the twilight breeze, and comforting purple eyes. A midnight black cloak was worn around his body, along with equally as dark socks. He had this goldenrod cloth he always carried, it was almost as if he was attached to it like a baby to its mother. He had no idea why, his memories were blank and bare. Suki was not sure himself, of weither he thought the gift of immortality was truly a gift, or a curse. He was one to decide his thoughts with precision, not taking action until he had evidence of success. Suki got himself to his feet and scrambled off in search of his older brother Tao, around this time he would be seeking his presence for training. His feet made a padded sound, as he ransacked the area around him for his brother. The goldenrod cloth swayed in the breeze gracefully, as he calmly pranced around like a puppy in search of its owner.

Tomoyo slung her sword carefully back into its sheath, and checked to make sure the bindings were secure. No more fancy kimonos for this journey. Light and sturdy garments woven from black wool now, and an ebony barette to keep her hair from flying loose. As she walked to the forest that lead the way, she caught site of Suki, clutching onto his golden sash as he always did.

{Hey, jashu, my main man! ^_^ No, I kid, I kid... That was the personality I take on to attract people for the roleplay, and it seems to work much better than the literate ditz I am. *Sigh* But welcome to the Immortal Thief roleplay! My character is Aoki, so just in case I interact with you, you should be familiar with myself by now. ^.^}

jashu555 ((Rereading my post, I'm a bit dissappointed actually. I'll do better in the roleplay I ~pwomise~.)) [I thought it was good, sadly, you've dug yourself into a roleplay ditch by going and looking for Tao, he hasn't been on forever. I need to mail Vanslaz, slap him up a bit and let him know he's got a good 10 pages of literate rp to read and one little brother to tend to.]

Shinobu sighed. "Izumo, I hadn't meant the questions for you to take as a philosophical challenge... I know, as immortals, we've no where we can go but with each other... which is where we are. No, I meant if you were going to leave... You won't find Melora... I've looked before." she said, remembering the many times she'd been off in the woods, searching for Melora, wondering where she'd see the child again, where Melora was now.

Aoki sighed and sat quietly on the steps infront of the great theater the group of immortals had used for a very long time, longer than Aoki could recall. Glancing over into the distance to see none other than Suki, the only person her age that would understand anything anymore, Aoki's face lit up with a smile. Aoki didn't move, because she knew talking to the very portrait of silence would do her nothing, but instead just sat there, tracing his movements with her eyes.
'Wonder if Suki-sama knows...' Aoki wondered, using incredibly polite language when it came to Suki, who she knew so little about yet respected quite a bit. 'It's better if he didn't know about those 'bearer' people. He has so much to deal with already.'
She sighed quietly and watched the sun rise, three little golden butterflies gently wandering around Aoki. Recalling something she had wanted to do forever, but never got the chance, she stood up to make herself visible.
'Wonder if I can talk to him before I leave, I need to ask him something.'

'Wonder if I can talk to him before I leave, I need to ask him something.' Suki let out a long gasp after hopelessly searching for his brother Tao.. He dragged his golden sash like a child with its blanket and covered his mouth with his free hand. Scratching his head, he wondered where Tao could possible be. Tao was usually the one to find him for his training, and loved spending time with him from what he knew. After coming to a stop from his trail of thought and search for Tao, he remembered he had caught sight of two of the others from the group of thiefs. He went over to Aoki, who was about the same age as him, and said, " Have you seen Tao-sama?", he paused a bit before continueing, "I can't find him anyway." He look at her with a gaze of innocence and noticed that she had already noted his presence and seemed to be in deep thought. He sat down in front of her with his sash covering his knees and wrapped around his back.

"Sorry Suki-sama, but he hasn't been around in a very long time." Aoki said politely, happy to see the drop-dead adorable Suki again. "But, if you see Koh-kun again, please talk to him. Him and I are having a bit of an odd moment, so I can't help him with his problem. We see a new...Hm... 'Discovery' two totally different ways, it's hard for me to help him because I don't know what to say... I know you don't usually talk to him often, so if it's to much to ask of you... You really... Don't have to see him..." Aoki said uncomfertably, aqward smile playing her face
Aoki sighed and smilled warmly at Suki again. Even with Suki looking like he should be shorter than Aoki, he was a few inches taller, just enough so she would have to tilt her head up to see him eye-to-eye. For a second, Aoki was going to just leave, but, again, she had another question.
"Suki, um... You don't talk to the other immortals often, so when I get back from my mission, would you like to hang around with me? I can show you a lot of really cool things I've found in the last little while, I'm sure there is something you would be intrested in."
Aoki thought lightly for a moment... Suki liked stars and was really smart... Books and charts would do him good, and Aoki knew she had lots of those up in her room Suki could use later. Even if Suki really didn't want to talk to Koh or herself, it would always be a good thing to show generosity to other, right? A gift to Suki would probebly show him that even if he doesn't like talking to other, a conversation could lead to good things.
{ Okay, I know my roleplay skills suck in comparision to others... *Sigh* There are probebly some errors in there, so... Yeah... Whatever.... *Odd silence* RUN AWAY! *Runs away in a poof of smoke* Ha ha ha ha ha!!! XD }

Aoki was one of the closer of the other immortals to him. Being of the same age, she was easy to talk and explain things to, even though Suki usually kept it bottled away anyway. "I'd be happy to talk to Koh for you, Aoki-chan, he paused for a bit considering how the conversation with Koh may go through, "But you'll have to tell me more about this odd moment, and discovery you speak of.", "Pweeze?", he asked sweetly. Suki had spent time with Aoki before, she was very friendly and kind to himself, so he did not hesitate to accept requests from her. He grinned a bit and pulled his sash over his shoulder as he proceeded conversing with her. "Ummm, sure I guess," he didn't seem to find Tao, he wondered if he would dissappoint him if Tao came looking for him later, then told himself that Tao would understand that he searched for him. "I don't see why not," then he continued his interrogation with , "Where are you going for your mission Aoki-chan?", "Are you going to be back soon?" He was a bit worried of what he might do if she left. As he didn't have anything else on his agenda.

"Um..." Aoki looked at Suki.
'So adorable!' She thought, trying to avoid the 'cuteness' of her friend. 'Damn... TOO cute...' She thought sadly, giving in.
"Some little girl named Melora said something really stuiped to everyone about where our pain goes. Apparently, it goes to someone called a 'bearer'. Our pain makes their lives worse... I didn't think we did enough to actually hurt them, and by saying what she said, it just made our lives a lot worse; In my eyes. Koh semms to think he did some unforgivable sin, so I can't talk to him... He just doesn't listen to me right now."
Aok thought about things for a second, and about the mission.
"Thanks for hanging with me later, and about the mission. I think we have to go to some town to see a man who wants Shinobu-onee-chan and myself to do something for him... I don't know much more than that. I wish I did though, I am SO phyched into going. I seriously can't wait! I'm not sure when we will be done, but because it's just Sister and I who are going, it shouldn't be too long..."
Finally stopping herself from talking, Aoki grinned at Suki, and gave him a thumbs up. "And with Shinobu-onee protecting me, and me distracting them, we should be okay! I kinda have to get changed before we go, though."
Aoki was still wearing the black shirt with a large collar and skirt. ((Check out 'Ino' on google image search.)) She placed her hand behind her head and laughed nervously for a second before watching the sun fully rise.
"WOO HOO!" Aoki shouted. "Shinobu said we would leave at sun-up!!! The sun is totally up! Oh yeah! Time to leave! The earlier I leave, the earlier I shall return!"
She continued to shout loudly, spinning in cirlces, throwing her arms in the air. It was no wonder, Aoki had been in the theater with nothing to do for almost five months, maybe more, and she was definately tired of waiting for OTHER people to come back from thier mission.
"Time to kick some serious bad-guy butt!"
