Nola grinned at Xiao and moved next to her. "I will help you."
Adelle nodded to the young lioness who joined them and then looked at Leanna to see if she wanted to be hunt mistress. "I do not mind sharing the roll but if you would rather not then I will not fight you for it. I just didn't want anyone to get hurt trying to hunt on their own."

Pastel decided to stay behind, not because she was lazy but because she didn't feel accepted in this pride yet. So she laid down on the cold stone floor of the cave, oblivious to anyone else for a while.
Xia sighed softly and stayed where she was laying down as well, and watched Pastel sit down too. The queen guessed that it'd take her a while to get into the pride, poor thing. She looked back over to Xiao. "I'm sorry." Though she probably couldn't hear her. Xia rolled around on her back bored like.

Ling sighed after awhile before standing slowly, forcing his large, aching body to stand. He nudged Xia before moving from the cave. He looked behind him at all the cubs and others. "Forgive me...but I have to clean these wounds...I will return...after abit of private time.." He looked ot Pastel as she moped on the stone floor, "Pastel...I leave you incharge of the young cubs while the other females are out." He nodded to her, he was putting alot of trust in the new lioness. He left the cave fully then, perhaps Xia would follow him, but who knew really, she had been acting rather strange as of late.

The end of the fight brought with it a great feeling of fatigue in Nuri. Not because he himself had been fighting, or out running around, but because he had been on high alert for many hours at a time with no rest. A dull buzzing had begun in the back of his head and his eyes ached. He allowed a huge yawn to take over, bowing into a full-body stretch before raising to his feet again. He bowed his head to Ling and Xia before slinking off in the opposite direction of the pair's hot spring. He veered off away from the hunting party as they began to gather and through the grass surrounding the main cave's rock formations. The brisk run got his circulation going and refreshed him though he was still weary. When he returned to the front of the cave he entered quietly in case anyone was taking a nap.
Inside he quietly looked around and found Pastel there with the cubs. She looked very depressed, and though she was not well-known to anyone, it still pulled at his heartstrings. She seemed so sensitive and sweet that her pain seemed more acute. As he approached, he smiled kindly to her and said, "Would you like me to help?"

Leanna looked over to Adelle. "We could share the position. If any one of us has ideas, it could help in the hunt." She looked over at Xiao and smiled. "Come, come, we shall all hunt." Getting to her feet, Leanna held back her head and let out a hunting roar. It had offically begun. "I'll take point." She said stepped forward. The scar upon her left flank shone a slightly smooth reddish color as she walked into the grasses. She was slow starting saving her energy for the hunt as the sun began to slowly crawl toward the horizon. Leanna thought for a moment; the afternoon must almost be over and evening would soon arrive.. "We should hurry...we don't want hunting to take too long..." Her left ear twitched slightly as she walked with the group.

Adelle nodded and then trotted off with the hunting party. They would be able to bring home more food now that there were more hunters. Once at the hunting grounds it was easy to find game. A few bores and wilderbeasts roamed in the high grass. "I can take half of the party off to the left and you go right. Come at our prey from both sides and take it down faster."

"Good idea. Let's find our target first. Xiao, you can come with me. Adelle and Nola can go together." Leanna's eyes were already scanning the group of wilderbeast. She wanted some big prey for tonight's feast and would not settle for less. She just hoped that Xiao could handle it. "So..shall we bring home one of each, Adelle?" She questioned. The magenta looked over at Nola's mother for a notion to go on ahead or any other idea.

Akira watched the lionesses leave, he saw Nola and Xiao leave too 'should i follow them?' he thought 'it would be really interesting...i've never hunted before, nor seen anyone else do it' he thought putting one paw forward as if to follow "no i shouldn't...i'd just get in the way..." he said turning around his tail drooping slightly as he headed back to his spot in the corner

Adelle nodded in agreement. "Tonight is special and the fighters have earned a feast to help them heal. Look there." Her indicated to an elderly female wilderbeast who was resting it's eyes. "Strike with silence and she should fall easy enough. If we manage that without trouble all the better."

Xiao followed her orders, silent as possible. She knew that Leanna was relying on her. She dug her claws into the earth, readying herself for the go.

"Right. Xiao, flank her on the outside. If she tries to run, herd her toward the others. Don't try bringing her down yourself." Leanna nudged the teen in reassurance then got onto her belly. She crawled into the grasses slowly and downwind. Every time the female twitched or move, Leanna froze until the movements stopped. The lioness was getting closer..and closer...and closer...could they actually bring her down?

Xiao watched Leanna for a moment, then copied her movements exactly. Her heart was pounding in throat as Leanna's words echoed in the phoenix's ears.

Shaitani rose now, muscles stiff, and his leg still unable to bear weight. He turned his head to Kun Yi, eyes soft, and spoke in an equally soft voice, "I'll be right back."
Slowly, he moved his injured body across the stretch of grass between the lake and the cave, and found his way to Akira in his usual place. Smiling, Shaitani sat down a few feet from him, "Akira?"

Adelle and Nola approched just as stealthfully from the other side of the beast ready to strike. "Steady Nola...if you move too soon it may get away." the purple lioness warned her daughter who nodded silently. 10 feet...5 feet...the beast obviously had lost her scence of smell when she didn't rouse when they got within 3 feet ofher. Adelle looked towards Leanna and nodded showing that they were ready on this side.

Nodding, the magenta crept a little closer before suddenly poucing upon the beast's back. The animal awoke with a start suddenly beginning to kick as it arose. Leanna held on tightly with her claws trying to weaken it as it began to rampage kicking about. The lioness began roaring loudly as her grip began to loosen. Though the animal was old, it still had life in it..and it intended to live it or die trying!
