Roxas, with a weak smile, leaned his head forward and against Sora's head. "Sora, no one expects you to be perfect here, all we are asking is that you try. As long as you are trying to get better instead of just sulking back here in his room, then no one cares how much of a hot mess you are, because everyone understands that you have been through a lot, okay?" Roxas told his brother as he slowly started to run his fingers through his brother's damp chocolate spikes. Roxas didn't care what happen through all of the crap and hurt, he was finally feeling like he had gotten his brother back and he would given anything to do that.

As Sora hugged him, Roxas's smile grew a little. "I have spent what seems like forever trying to cope with all my problems, Sora, and just being with you and Zexion, and the band, that is what is making me happy, I know it doesn't seem like it, but I am getting better, I just need time away from that awful asylum. Now let's not worry about me, it's probably about time for us to get going, so why don't we get up out of this apartment and get something to eat before we go to the station, sound good?"Roxas offered to Sora. He was hoping that with Sora's better attitude that he would be more willing to actually eat something. He was going to starve himself to death if he didn't start eating soon.

Sora felt tears gather in his eyes as Roxas told him that he was helping by just being around him. He hugged Roxas once more and sniffled, nodding at his suggestion about eating. "Yeah...I don't think I've eaten in a week," he mumbled as he pulled away and wiped at his eyes a little more.

Sora ended up eating about half of the ham and cheese sandwich he was given, which seemed to make Roxas light up just seeing him eat something, no matter how little it was. Sora felt a little better, like he was slowly coming out of his depression. Yeah, he was deep down in there, and him having to wear Riku's clothes didn't make it any better (especially since how much they hung off of him reminded him how much weight he had lost), but he was doing better.

He was nervous. The whole ride to the station had his stomach in knots, but he didn't say anything. He just stayed silent as Zexion drove them down to the station, staring out of the window as he watched the scenery pass him by in a grey blur.

His legs almost gave out as soon as he stepped out of the car. Roxas had to grab ahold of him before he slammed his head into the open car door, and Sora reassured him that he was fine in a quiet voice. God, he was having second thoughts about this. What if he couldn't do this? Face the other victim? But...he had to do this, he told himself. It was the first step to getting over the incident.

He looked back at Roxas and Zexion...reminded that Riku wasn't going to be there for him. There's no way he would, and it made Sora hurt to think about how he had driven him away. He had a deep frown on his face as he sat down on the end of a bench, arms wrapped around himself as he tried to hold himself together and take deep breaths. He could get through this. He had to.

As the car moved down the road, everything seemed to be dulled with gray as Riku found himself looking out the car window. He hadn't spoken since they left the apartment, despite many attempts from Demyx trying to engage him. As his eyes traveled up from the dark pavement and dark buildings, his eyes met the blackening sky. It was going to rain today. Everything was going to be wash clean with the heavenly waters from above... all except Riku. Riku didn't deserve to be clean. He deserved misery what he did to his family and for not being able to be the comfort that Sora needed. It was a thought that had only occurred to him this morning in the shower after Axel told him what they were doing today. Everyone wanted Riku to come to the station and be that comfort for Sora in his time of need... but Riku knew he couldn't do it.

He walked out before for a reason, and that was because their relationship didn't work. Sora was too afraid to let Riku help him, and Riku had committed too fast and too early. He wasn't ready for the commitment. Maybe he could have been before when he was still blindsided by his love for Sora, but now he was too scared of hurting the already fragile being that was Sora. He was too scared of hurting his own already fragile life. Everything around him had crumbled to pieces and as he realized before... when there was no one left for Riku... Riku was nothing. A waste of space that existed only to not exist. Yeah, Axel and Demyx had helped him somewhat get back on his feet, but now he knew. Riku knew deep down that he was still able to go back to that place... to that place of dark, cold blankness. It terrified him so bad that every time he thought about it, it made him nauseous. Riku wasn't a strong person.... Riku was scum... He was still the same druggie piece of crap that Axel wasted his time saving so many years ago...All these years, Riku had just been pretending.. He pretended for so long, he actually believed his own lies.... but now he knew.

"Riku, you know I was thinking that maybe after this, maybe we could all just sit down with a pen and paper and just get all of the last couple of weeks out through song lyrics when we get back. I'm sure that some emotional release would be good for you." Demyx tried once again, but getting nothing from the backseat just he stared back at the other. He looked so lost and helpless. Demyx had never seen him like this, and it hurt Demyx to know that Riku didn't think that his two best friends couldn't help him through this. Slowly, he turned back to the front again for what seemed like the fifteenth time and wrapped his arms around himself carefully. His aquamarine eyes dulled as he saw the police station up ahead. He wasn't completely sure why he was suddenly feeling like this was a mistake, but the feeling was eating him alive.

Riku, after what only seemed like seconds to him, found himself barely walking towards the police station. The air was growing thin as he knew he was about to face the one person that he would give anything not to see. He couldn't be the that person that Sora wanted and he knew Sora needed that person... His body was shaking and he knew that his knees were going to give out any second as he walked into the crowded, busy police hub. Why did they think that he could do this? Feelings and fears were rushing through him so fast that Riku found himself screaming for numbness in his head. His throat grew desperately dry as his muscles betrayed all his pleas to stop moving. Closing his eyes tightly, he took an airless breath before he was standing not three feet away from Sora. As his eyes looked down at the other, Riku was at a lost for what to say. Where was Demyx and Axel to back him up? To save him?! Where was anyone to keep him from having to do this? The other didn't even seem to notice him standing to close to him though and Riku found his body betraying him once again. "....Sora...?"
PostPosted: Mon Jan 12, 2015 9:45 pm

Time seemed to slow and almost stop as Sora sat there, staring blankly ahead with his arms wrapped around himself. The more he thought he had to do this, the more he knew he couldn't. He wasn't ready to face this yet. He wasn't going to be able to push through this and grit his teeth, because he wasn't strong enough. This was all new to him, and it was something he knew he should never have had to go through. But the world was a cruel place, and he seemed to always get the shitty end of the stick. Yeah, there were people who had and were and would go through worse than he had, but that didn't mean it was okay. It just meant that the world was suffering because of the people living in it.

Sora surely felt like he was drowning in himself again. His fingers gripped onto the sleeves of Riku's T-shirt he was wearing as his body trembled. Darkness was encroaching on his vision, and his eyes slowly widened as memories of the night plagued his mind. He could feel the pain again, the aches in his body. He began unconsciously fidgiting in his seat as he could almost feel the pain shoot up his spine.

He was dragged out of his personal Hell as his name was softly whispered. He jumped, and his wet eyes darted up to the face which presumably spoke. His jaw went slack as he looked up into those beautiful sea green eyes for the first time in what seemed like years. "Riku," he whispered, sound barely leaving his lips. He stood too quickly, and his knees buckled. He quickly caught himself on the bench, then stood and looked back up at him. He gazed at him, awestruck. Then he shut his eyes tight and shook his head, some straggling tears sliding down his cheeks from the movement. Then he gazed back up at him, looking even more shocked.

"You're here. I thought... I thought for sure you wouldn't come..," he said softly, feeling the urge to look down in shame, but didn't want to risk losing a second of seeing him. He also felt the urge to leap forward and wrap his arms around him, but by the looks of him, it would probably drive him away. So Sora bit his lip and searched Riku's eyes briefly before saying softly, "Can you just... Can you sit next to me?" His voice was pleading with Riku, but he wouldn't force him to. He knew he was uncomfortable.

Riku was almost just as startled by Sora looking up at him as Sora seemed to be just to find the other actually showing up. Sora looked so upset and it was killing something in Riku that he already thought was dead. For a brief second before Sora said his name, Riku thought about running actually. The look in Sora's reddened eyes made Riku feel like he was being dragged into a pit of spikes. Maybe it was the bigger clothes, but Riku could tell that Sora looked more fragile than ever. He probably wasn't eating even a bit of food, not that Riku could really complain to him. Riku hadn't been eating very well either. That voice though... the voice was the same as it ever was. Sora spoke his name, and Riku knew he didn't have the power to escape it. He was hooked by the other being again. As Sora tried to stand up, Riku reached out, but Sora had caught himself before Riku could, so he just let his arms fall back to his side.

"...yeah... I guess, reality has a way of not ever being what you expected..." Riku mumbled as his shaking fingertips reached up and pressed themselves to the back of his neck as he stood there. His neck felt so hot and Riku could feel the sweat starting to form under his hair. His whole body was starting to panic out of control. As Sora stared at him then asked him if he wanted to sit down, Riku slowly obeyed. He obeyed without question, because he couldn't stop himself even though everything in his mind was telling him not to. After a minute or so of silence, Riku could feel the word vomit coming out without his permission. "...how have you been, Sora?... Umm, I mean, are you taking care of yourself?" Riku asked with his voice was shaky at best, and it was obvious that he was nervous.

Sora looked up at Riku with a strained smile as he asked how Sora was doing. If he was taking care of himself. He looked down at his lap and unconsciously wrapped his arms around himself once more as he gave a shaky sigh.

"Do you want me to be honest? Because, if not, I'm holding up fine," he told him quietly. He didn't want to seem like he was complaining when he knew that Riku was going through the same thing because of Sora himself. "I don't need to ask you. I can see it in your eyes," he said even quieter, looking up at him once more and then looking away quickly, back at his lap.

He cleared his throat a little and then changed the subject. "I'm nervous. No. No, I'm terrified to meet this guy. Because then I know it was real. This past week hasn't been a terrible nightmare that I'm eventually going to wake up from. And I've been fighting with myself since we were in the car. I almost opened the door and jumped out at one point. I want to run, but I know I have to face this. But I'm not strong enough," he ended in a whisper and tightened his grip around himself. "I'm barely even strong enough to face you after I ******** up so badly. I wanted to think you would be here so badly, but I..."

Sora gave another shaky sigh as his shoulders dropped. "I know you don't want to be here. I know you're uncomfortable just being in the same room with me, and I'm sorry that you were probably forced to come. But I'm so happy you're here," he told him quietly. "You don't even have to talk to me. You don't have to keep up a conversation if you don't want to, and I know you don't. I just need you here. You could be over there standing quietly in the furthest corner from me as long as I know you're here, so don't force yourself to be uncomfortable for my sake. Please. You don't have to sit by me. I would like you to, but I know you don't want to. I know you're destroyed inside because of me." The whole time he spoke, he didn't look up at Riku. He honestly didn't think he had a right to look at him as he spoke. He didn't have a right to let Riku know that the night he destroyed Riku's heart, he destroyed his own as well.

Riku's expression seemed to sink even more when Sora asked if Riku wanted him to lie about how he was doing. "Sora, I know our relationship didn't end on the best note, but I would never want you to straight up lie to me. To be honest with you, I think that after everything we have both been through, we owe it to each other to be honest." Riku told Sora in a soft voice as he stared hard at the ground and gripped his own shaking hands tightly. Riku was nervous and scared that Sora was going to hurt him again, but they needed this. As much as Riku wanted to deny it, and he really did want to, Riku knew they needed to talk some of their issues out. Although, Riku had to admit, the longer he sat there, the more he didn't want to leave. Sora needed him just to be there... And even if Riku knew he would only get hurt again... A part of him really wanted to be there, and it seemed to be currently overcoming the other part of him that had been pushing everyone away for so long.

There was a moment of silence between them before Sora spoke again, and Riku took his words as Sora being honest with him. Sora seemed so incredibly hurt that Riku became lost in the words he was hearing. The silver haired male then said something he didn't even fully comphend until after he said it. "No one made me come here today, Sora. If I didn't want to be here, then I wouldn't have come. Say what you will, but Sora, I care a whole freaking bunch about you, and you are the first person that I have really cared about like this in a very long time. Now, you may not think that I mean this or you may think that I only saying this to say it to you, but Sora just because you hurt me doesn't mean that I don't still love you or that I won't be here until you don't want me to be anymore... So if you want me to go, I will, but I just want you to know that I really want to be here. With you... I only left in the first place, because I thought that was what you wanted. I thought you didn't want me around anymore, and I didn't want to hurt you anymore than you already were." Riku spoke, his voice was shaky, but firm. He wanted Sora to know he meant all of this.

After he spoke, he carefully looked up at the other with his tired, aquamarine eyes. He found himself staring into the other, just hoping that he didn't reject him again or push him away. This was the last bit of his heart that he had, and he knew he was taking a risk giving it to the person that hurt him so badly before, but he found himself unable to stop himself. Sora was the person he wanted to be with. He didn't care if sora thought he was broken or worthless. Sora, broken or otherwise, was the only person that had gotten through to Riku since Axel had broken through to him all those years ago to get him off drugs. Yeah, Riku still had issues with Sora pushing him away, and Riku didn't know if he completely trusted the other not to hurt him again... But Riku didn't want to give up. He didn't want Sora to give up either. Slowly, after staring at him for a moment or two, Riku carefully unclenched his hands together and moved one hand towards Sora. If Sora didn't want to hold his hand, Riku would understand, but Riku wanted Sora to know he wasn't alone. Standing off in the corner wasn't going to show Sora he wasn't alone.
PostPosted: Fri Jan 16, 2015 11:43 am

Sora felt emotion surge through him for the first time since everything happened as Riku's fingers touched his hand. He let out a shaky sigh of relief and let go of himself with one hand, interlocking his fingers with Riku's. He squeezed with his shaky hand and didn't let up, showing Riku how terrified he was. He looked up at the silveret and gave him a shaky smile, eyes full of tears.

"I don't want you to leave. I really, really don't," he whispered, grip tightening unconsciously as he trembled beside Riku. He opened his mouth and sucked in a beath to continue, but then bit his lip, debating on whether or not it was really the right time to talk to him about it.

His grip loosened slightly, but he was still obviously holding on to Riku's hand and not willing to let go. "Riku...I know...I know that you're hurt..." He trailed off as he rethought his words. "I know you're not ready to talk right now, but...but when you think you can, I'd like to talk about what happened. I want to talk about the...the attack and everything. With you," he said softly. "And why I...said what I said. I want you to understand. Hell, I want to understand myself, because God knows I don't know what's in my head anymore." He took a deep, shaky breath and looked up into Riku's eyes again. "Just...whenever you're ready. Just...just come over, and we'll talk. Okay? No yelling. No breaking things. And I...I want both of us to be in the conversation, because I don't want to ******** up again," he told him softly, hope in his eyes. "Please. I need to talk to you, but I don't want to force it on you. I know you're not ready." He held Riku's gaze as he waited for an answer. "Please. I need an answer before I do this so I know what to expect later on. I need to know if I should have hope," he barely whispered, just loud enough for Riku to hear.

Axel slid his arms around Demyx's waist from behind and watched the two from a little ways away, chin perched on top of Demyx's shoulder. "Do you think they'll work it out?" he mumbled into his ear curiously, glancing down at Riku and Sora's clasped hands, then up to their faces as they looked into each others' eyes. "I think it's gonna be slow, but they're gonna get there. What do you think?"

From behind them, an officer came out of what seemed to be an interrogation room. He announced that the other victim was ready, not disclosing a name to them yet. Apparently they wanted this to be kept on the down-low.

Sora, hearing the announcement, felt his body go rigid. His eyes widened in panic as they locked onto Riku's, his hand squeezing Riku's painfully tight. "Please," he whispered hoarsely. "Please, I need an answer or I can't do this," he almost begged the man he loved. "Just yes or no or something. Please." He looked close to passing out or having some kind of attack at this point. Fear was written all over his face.

When Sora seemed to accept his hand, Riku felt a load of pressure come off of his shoulders. He wasn't just imagining the feeling between them, and as Sora took his hand, and they both shook with nerves, Riku felt better. Sora was just as nervous about all this as he was... granted, Sora had more to be nervous about seeing as they were about to face his rape again, but Riku knew that his anxiety about their relationship wasn't one sided. As Sora squeezed his hand, Riku smiled a shaky smile back to Sora, and chuckled to himself. With his other hand, he gently reached up and rubbed the back of his own neck again to smooth his own jitters. This felt safe.

Riku listened to Sora talk to him, and get everything he wanted out on the table. He opened his mouth for a brief moment to answer him, but right as he was about to, the police officer came out and said they were ready. Riku's head turned quickly to hear what the man was saying, but then back to Sora as Sora gripped his hand painfully. "Sora, I'll talk with you, I talk to you for as long as you want, whenever you want, after this, next week, it doesn't matter to me, okay? I'm not going anywhere, and you don't have to be afraid that I will." Riku told him as he put his other hand on Sora's shoulder, and fought through Sora death gripping his hand. "..so just breathe, okay? You can do this," Riku told him after another second since Sora still didn't release his hand.

Roxas, who had been quietly waiting by Axel, Demyx, and Zexion, felt chills run through his body as he heard the police officer come out. He hadn't really thought about it since Sora was going through so much, but this was the first time that he was really going to face what happened in the asylum with his repeated abuser. Sora was so fragile right now, that Roxas was able to push off all of his feeling of worry and fear into helping Sora get through this, but as he stood there watching Riku hold Sora's hand, he realized that he was going to have to face this himself... and he wasn't going to have anyone there to tell him it was going to be okay. Yeah, Zexion was there, but it was different. Zexion had no idea what Roxas was going through, but with Sora, they had been living with it for a week now. They all knew that Sora was a train wreck right now. As the blonde watched Riku reach over and touch Sora's shoulder, he felt his own hands curl into clenched fists.

Roxas could feel bile from the food they recently ate threatening to come back up again, as he walked towards the officer that came out without waiting for Sora to join him. Riku was obviously the one that Sora wanted to lean on right now, and Roxas was only hurting himself more than he already was by becoming jealous over it. He said nothing as the officer pointed him towards a room down the hall, and he moved towards it by himself. In the background, Roxas could hear the officer tell someone, who he assumed to be Zexion, that only the victims were allow to go for confidentiality's purposes, but he didn't stop walking. His heart was practically beating out of his chest as he neared the room, and the blonde for a moment even thought he might pass out before he even got there. As his now shaking hands, grabbed the door knob and turned it, he felt like he was having a panic attack.. which was quiet possible in his case, but he still didn't stop. As he finally pushed open the door and stared into the room, he felt himself freeze up just staring into identical eyes. Mindlessly, the blonde stepped into the room just enough so that the door closed behind him, but he made no sound.. he wasn't even completely sure he was breathing anymore.

From across the room in a chair behind the table, the other victim was sitting with his head dipped down towards the table, and as someone walked into the room, he picked his head up, but a part of him wished that he hadn't. Standing there at the door was something that he couldn't comprehend. Deep sky blue eyes... spike blonde hair... it was like he had lost all grip onto reality and projected a mirror image of himself into the room. "...Is this some kind of sick joke?" Ventus spoke, but the words barely came out as even a whisper. There was so much horror and fear dripping from his words though that they hit the identical blonde like bricks.

Roxas found himself tearing up from rage, confusion, and pain. "..I-I don't understand..." He mumbled before he blinked hard trying to will the other being away, but as he opened his eyes back up, he realized how real the other was. Roxas felt paralyzed as he just stood there and stared. He couldn't even turn around when he heard the door opening up behind him.

Sora forced himself to breathe raggedly as Riku spoke to him gently. He nodded stiffly and whispered a, "Thank you." Then he took another breath and finally let go of Riku's hand as Roxas walked away from them. He stood up shakily and looked at Roxas's retreating back. Another frown made its way onto his face, and he looked back down at Riku with his brows knit.

After another moment, he took a deep breath and hugged himself as he slowly walked the way Roxas had gone. He passed Zexion, who gave him an encouraging smile, then kept on going until he reached the door. He breathed deeply then unclasped his hand from one of his arms and reached forward, gripping onto the door knob. He shut his eyes tight and pushed the door open, taking a few steps into the room before he slowly opened his eyes.

He froze up at the sight of the two, then collapsed back onto the inward-swinging door. His eyes were blown wide, and his skin was white as he stared between the two. Then he screamed briefly and started hyperventilating. They were practically twins. They were more twins than Roxas and himself were. Down to the same hair style. He couldn't handle this. This meant that that man was after Roxas, and he wasn't going to let up. He was going to hunt until he found what he wanted and took it.

"R-Ro..." he tried to gasp out, tears streaming down his cheeks as he slid to the floor, chest heaving as he struggled to take in breath. With one hand, he gripped at his chest, and with the other he reached out towards his brother. He began sobbing as a thought hit him. Was he his brother? Or were these two identical people in front of him the real twins? Then who was he? Did he have any blood family that he knew of? Was he adopted into the family?

On top of hyperventilation, he broke down sobbing as these thoughts hit him. Had he grown up in a complete lie? He couldn't have. He and Roxas were so perfect as twins. And they loved each other like siblings would, especially since they had gone through so much together.

This wasn't how this was supposed to go. This wasn't supposed to happen at all.

Why did this have to happen to them?

Ventus found himself at a lost for words as he stared back at Roxas, who was just blankly staring at him with the same look. What did this all mean? When the door opened again, Ventus had to restrain himself from panicking as he felt himself pray that he didn't have another twin out there. One surprise twin was quite enough for one day. As Sora walked into the room and met eyes with him, he felt something inside of him breath a sigh of relief, but at the same time, the kid's eyes were so much like the other blonde's... and his own. As the other stared at him before being to freak out, Ventus soon found himself starting to panic a little himself. "Dude, is he okay?" Ventus asked his voice a slightly tenor compared to Sora's, but it was almost indistinguishable from Roxas's voice.

Roxas seemed to snap out of his own trance hearing Sora behind him losing his mind practically. "Sora? Sora! Look at me.." Roxas told his brother as he turned and gripped his shoulders tightly. As the blonde stared into his brother's eyes and face there was some kind of disconnect in them now. Did Sora think they weren't brother anymore? Were they? No, they had to be. Sora was the only thing that Roxas knew to be true. Blood or not, Sora would always be his twin and his brother. They just had to be... but the other guy... he looked just like him. Roxas found himself at a lost for words as to what he was supposed to say to Sora. Everything seemed to murky now. Everything he thought he always knew seemed cloudy, and the world itself seemed to be crumbling around him. Was Roxas breathing? Why did it feel like no air was getting to his lungs?

As Roxas stared into his brother's face, he started to lose the ability to keep himself together. He was sucking in air, but it felt like he wasn't getting anything. He was panicking as he stared at his brother's face. He needed his inhaler. Roxas moved to get up off of the floor as he turned away from Sora. He couldn't breathe. He needed air. Was he hyperventilating? Stumbling as he stood, Roxas just about fell onto the floor before someone caught him. As Roxas looked up at who caught him by the arm, he realized it was the other blonde... the one that looked like him. He was screaming something out, but Roxas couldn't hear a word of it... It sounded like there was this loud tinging in his ears at the moment, and the world was spinning. He didn't know what was going on, but Roxas was losing pieces of time to blackness. One second, he is standing while the other him was yelling. The next he was sitting on the ground up against the wall with the other him kneeling next to him... Then Zexion was there, and the police officers.

Ventus watched as the blonde that looked liked him turned to face the brunette. He seemed like he was okay at first, as he tried to soothe the brown haired male, who was honestly losing his marbles, but then something changed. The blonde called the brunette's name out, Sora... and then he started to lose it himself. He was breathing too fast and too shallow to actually be getting air, and Ventus knew the signs of a panic attack. He just to get them a lot when he was younger. Without reason, Ventus got up and moved to Roxas just in time to keep him from falling back onto the ground when he stood up. "Hey, You need to calm down," Ventus tried, but the other him didn't hear him and he was getting worse. Quickly, Ventus reached for the door with his other hand and yelled out it. "Hey! I need some help in there! They need an inhaler!" Ventus yelled down the hall before turning back to Roxas, who was starting to black out now. "Hey! Dammit, you need to breathe!" Ventus yelled at Roxas, who just seemed to blankly stare back at him before starting to collapse. If Ventus didn't already have one hand on his upper arm, he probably would have been unable to catch him. It was times like these that he really wished that he still carried that damn inhaler he had just in case back at his house.

After catching Roxas, he, as gently as possible, sat him down against the wall so that he could sit up against it. It would be easier to breath if he wasn't laying down. "Sora, did anyone come with you, and bring an inhaler?" Ventus tried to asked the brunette, who was sobbing behind the now cracked door. Of course, Sora was zero help in his condition, and within seconds of having the door open, a slate haired male came running into the room followed by an officer.

Demyx had settled on just waiting patiently with Axel and Riku out on the benches. They didn't try and pry into the conversation that Riku had with Sora. Everyone was somewhat on the same page that all the relationship drama needed to wait until after this. Of course, it wasn't even five minutes that the two were gone before someone yelled from down the hall. Alarmed Demyx jumped up since it sounded like Roxas yelling. "What's going on?" Demyx asked the other two as if they would know. Riku seemed to be just as alarmed, but made no effort to run down the hall like Zexion and two officers did. He didn't want to get in the way of the police officers since it was apparent they were trying to keep all this unwraps. The last time he got in the way of the police officers, he got his arm broken...

Zexion perked up as soon as he heard the call. He jumped from his position on the bench and hauled a** down the gall, followed by officers right on his tail. He was pulling out bottles from his pockets as he ran.

He easily slipped through the door and kneeled down next to who he thought was Roxas. "Roxas, what...uh..." he froze momentarily as he looked between the two. Then his body kicked into gear as he figured out what was happening.

"Roxas baby I'm here. I've got your medication. Calm down so you can take it," he quickly chided him. he dumped two pills out onto his hand and then practically forced the pills into Roxas's mouth. If Roxas didn't calm down enough to shallow it properly though, he was just going to end up passing out. It was times like these that Zexion really wished that he had an inhaler for Roxas.

He glanced up at the identical twin of Roxas and said quickly, "Not to be rude, but it would probably help if you stood somewhere over there for now. Until they settle down." He then poked his head out of the door and yelled, "One of you guys get in here, please! Sora needs some help! You two don't touch him!" He quickly snapped at the officers who promptly backed away from the teen who just started screaming again and curling up into himself.

At Zexion's call, Axel immediately took off in the direction of the room. The first thing he saw as he entered was Zexion treating Roxas...and then Roxas standing across the room. That boggled him a bit. And then he heard a sob and looked over to see Sora huddled up on the floor.

"Hey... Sora, hey," he said softly as he kneeled down in front of him. He reached forward and gently placed his hand on the brunet's shoulder. He flinched away, but didnt start screaming again. Axel took this as a good sign and began rubbing his shoulder gently. Eventually, Sora looked up with a tear-stained face and looked over at Roxas.

"What...what if..," he gasped out, then looked up at Ventus again. Then back at Axel, tears welling up again. "What if im not really his twin?" He whispered breathlessly and then broke down once more. "What if I'm not even his brother?" He cried and hugged himself beginning to rock back and forth. Axel grimaced and enveloped the brunet in his arms as he cried, rubbing his back gently. "You want me to get Riku in here to be with you?" He asked softly, receiving a nod from Sora. So he stuck his head through the door and called for Riku, holding Sora comfortingly in his arms.

Ventus raised his hands defensively as he backed off his double. He didn't want to cause anymore trouble than his presence apparently already caused. Ventus watched the scene play out very cautiously as he stood back about five feet from Roxas... Roxas was the kid's name. There was something so familiar about that name, and yet Ventus was sure that he had never met anyone with that name before. Maybe he had read it before or heard someone say it before. But then again, there was something more connected than just words about it. Ventus felt like he knew Roxas even though this was the first time they were meeting... or maybe this wasn't the first... maybe they just couldn't remember the first time.

Perplexed by this feeling, Ventus grew quiet even after a redhead came into the room. There was all this yelling going on around him, and yet it all seemed to grow dull as Ventus looked down at Roxas. He looked so distraught... all because of him... Why did Ventus come here today? Why was all of this happening now?

Roxas felt light headed as he tried to focus on Zexion's presence in the situation now. He was saying words, but Roxas couldn't understand what he was saying him. It all just sound like white noise in his ears. Roxas panicked even more though feeling a hand suddenly trying to shove pills down his throat. In his confused state, he couldn't register that it was Zexion give him the pills, so he immediately tried to spit them back out. Was he back in the asylum? Roxas blacked out again for a moment at the thought and seconds later, he came back again and watched himself now backing away from him. Was any of this real? Everything felt wrong.

Weakly, Roxas reached out for himself. He couldn't lose himself... he needed to stay together for Sora and Zexion... They both needed him to be there. Watched as the blonde being in front him took another step back, Roxas felt broken like somehow he really had split into two. "W-ha..." Roxas mumbled to himself before he felt everything rushing by him too fast for him to catch back up. Ventus just stared almost in horror as he watched Roxas's eyes roll back into his head before he passed out. It was practically like watching yourself die.

Demyx had started to run towards the room with Axel, but then he stopped. In a moment of thought, Demyx looked back at Riku, who looked like he might fall to pieces. "Riku, come on, Sora needs you." Demyx tried as he reached out and touched his friend's arm gently. "... no, he needs help. Not me." Riku stated with a deep frown as he enveloped his own arms with his hands. "Don't say that, Riku. You are just pushing Sora away, because you're scared of what he means to you, or that he will hurt you again. And it is okay to admit that you're scared, but it's not okay for you to keep locking up your feelings." Demyx told his friend cautiously. Demyx wasn't as close to Riku as Axel, and so Demyx wasn't even completely sure that he was the one that should be having this conversation with him. Although, Demyx knew someone had to tell him, Riku not expressing his feelings at this point was just killing him inside. Demyx turned away from Riku as he heard Axel yell out Riku's name, before looking back at Riku, who looked pretty shocked. "See, he wants you, Riku, so stop fighting this." Demyx told him softly, before Riku bit his lip a little and hurriedly rushed passed Demyx down the hallway.

As he approached the door, he could feel his heart pounding out of his chest. Was this really all about him being afraid of Sora? As Riku entered the room, he didn't even notice Ventus or Roxas and Zexion for that matter, his eyes went straight to Sora's as he kneeled down next to him on the opposite side of Axel. "Sora, it's okay, I'm right here." Riku whispered to Sora as Riku wrapped his arms around the brunette. The feeling of having Sora back in his arms after what felt like an eternity was so good that Riku thought he honestly might start crying. Closing his eyes, Riku just let himself breath in the feeling of Sora's presence. Why did he ever leave this in the first place?

As soon as Sora felt Axel's grip relinquish, he looked up at the door and saw Riku there. He reached up to him, tears streaming down his face. And as soon as he was in Riku's arms, he began taking in deep breaths and gripped onto him tightly. "I can't. I can't do this," he whispered and began shaking his head. "I just can't."

Zexion sighed softly as he held Roxas in his arms. He ran his fingers through the blond hair and gently rearranged them so they were both comfortable. He glanced up at Axel meaningfully and then down to Roxas again before looking at Ventus. Axel caught on and replaced Zexion by Roxas's side as the slate-haired male stood and made his way over to the Roxas look-alike.

He stood in front of him for a moment, study in him for a moment. "I apologize. I realize this was supposed to be private. Unfortunately, things always seem to get out of hand when it comes to us. I'm Zexion, by the way." He said cautiously. "I'm...not sure they'll be up to talking it out today...would...you mind meeting back maybe in a few weeks once their shock passes? And I'm sure you'll need time to recuperate yourself." He suggested softly.

"Don't be scared, Sora, it's okay, no matter what happens, I'm going to be here, okay?" Riku told the chocolate haired male that was gripping onto him. Riku wasn't completely sure why it felt so easy to Sora this things, but he couldn't even convince himself to believe them. This was where he wanted to be. He wanted to be with Sora, and protect him, but in the back of Riku's mind, he had this terrible feeling that Sora was going to push him away again... That although he wanted to protect Sora, Sora wasn't going to let him. "And if you aren't ready for this, we can always try again another day," Riku whispered to Sora after another second. Riku honestly thought that the reason both Roxas and Sora had freaked out was because neither of them could face the idea that they were attacked. He had no idea of Ventus's role in all this since he still hadn't noticed the double in the room.

Ventus slowly came back to reality as he watched Zexion rein Roxas back into his arms and gently run his finger through his hair. The copy of him looked so fragile passed out in the other's arms. It was like looking at a porcelain copy of himself. As he watched, he got the sudden feeling he was in one of those ghost shows where the character that just died looked down at his own body, broken and empty. It was almost surreal. He continued to watch Roxas idly as Zexion got up and walked over to him. As he approached, Zexion's body blocked Ventus's vision from his double, and Ventus looked up at him accordingly. "I'm Ventus." The blonde spoke softly as he offered his hand to Zexion. "I would be okay with meeting up.. maybe somewhere that wasn't a police station might be less pressure. But umm, before can I ask you a question about Roxas? ...What's his last name? I mean, I don't mean to pry or anything.. I'm just curious, you know?" Ventus asked cautiously. He didn't want to over-step his boundaries, but he just had to know more about his haunting look-alike.
