Akira lifted his head with a start at the large males voice "Oh! Shaitani! are you ok? you shouldn't be walking on your wounded leg! you could exacerbate the wound" he said, trying to hide the fact that he was actually very happy to talk to him again

Shaitani glanced down at his leg before returning his gaze to the cub with a chuckle, "Ah, well, I may as well work it out. I'm leaving tomorrow." He voice dropped slightly, but he ended his sentence with a chuckle. "Don't worry about me, I'll be healed up in no time."
He paused a moment, gthering his thoughts. His voice came out smoothly when he spoke again, "Akira, when I leave, you'll be one of very few males left in the pride." His tone was serious, when he suddly cracked a smile and winked, "Don't let the ladies push you around." He laughed at his own joke for a moment.
"I'll be sure to come and visit once the cubs are born and Kun Yi is well again, as well as myself. And if you ever need me, well, I'll probably be too far away," he said, a look of puzzlement coming to his face, "But I'll be in the far northern forests, nonetheless."
Shaitani and Akira had never been close - well, Shaitani hadn't really been close with an of the other cubs, really - but he could relate to the cub in even the smallest way. He didn't want to leave him behind, but had no choice, really.

Nola and Adelle rushed at the beast's other side. Nola went for its flank while Adelle went for its throat. Both managed to latch on quick enough and hold on. The beast didn't know which way to move so it started to kick out and buck. It flung its neck from side to side attempting to free it self from the lionesses.

Akira smiled and laughed a bit at shaitani's joke "heh, i'll try not to" he said, he slowly stood up and walked to shaitani's side and put his muzzle in a friendly nuzzle to his friends soft mane "were all gonna miss you shaitani" he said giving off a small happy purr "i wish you and Kun Yi the best of happiness! and i can't wait to see you again, as a father of all things!" she said chuckling a bit

Ling had traveled the short distance to the hot springs. They had been easy enough to find by himself, just off to the side and back of their cave. He lowered his body into the warm water ans sighed, letting the water wash his wounds. He wanted Xia at his side for this, but he knew that she had other things on her mind. it was not hard to tell, he could smell it on her like a sweet perfume.
He sighed and closed his eyes, letting his mind clear. The fight had taken something from him, showed him that he could infact be the ruthless king. He shook ihs head and cleared his mind of those thought, his dark maned head resting on the grass that surrounded the springs. Shaitani had fought for love, and he had fought for honor. They were both good reasons, but even the king had to admit, it would be tough to let the boy go.

"When I visit I'll be sure to bring the cubs," he said with a chuckle. "I can't wait to see you grown up. I have a feeling you'll be a strong-willed lion."
This talk wasn't going to make it any easier to leave the pride, Shaitani knew for sure.

Leanna began to feel the beast tire. It started to fall on its left side. Falling off toward the right, the hunter let the beast fall. Snarling, Leanna went to the throat and snapped her jaws upon the flesh. The animal began to kick upward trying to get the lions off. The magenta held on close, her claws deep into the flesh.

Xia had wanted to join him but after she got up to tag along after Ling she felt a sharp pain in her stomach and immediatly bolted the other way of the hot springs. Sniffing out a safe place, she sat down underneath a tree with lots of vines over it. Looking up at the tree branches as she sat there and waited. 'I'm glad its what I thought it was..and they're all ours..' Xia thought to herself with a mixture of proudness and happyness.
After, the pink colored queen grabbed her babys and put two of them on her back, and the third one in her mouth, the one that looked like an inversed Ling and the lioness couldn't be happier but she was tired though and she still had to walk to the hotsprings with the three cubs.
Finally making it back to the hotsprings, she wasn't sure the newborns were safe there but they had their daddy to protect them so she didn't mind. She flopped to the ground after putting the one she was carrying in her mouth by the scruff of his neck down gently on the coushiny grass around them. The other two managed to stay on her back, they had good balance just like her when she was little. Xia's eyes closed tiredly.

Ling had fallen sleep in the water some time ago. It was when He heard the sound of someone coming his way, that he awoke, his eyes blurry from sleep, but otherwise he was very alert. He let out a long yawn before pushing his body out of the water.
Once he saw Xia, a crowd if kittens around her. He gasped. So, this explained things, and very well at that. He smiled and moved over to her side, nuzzling her cheek once before looking down at the still helpless kittens. He did not touch them, not at all sure what to do with them.
He sat on the cool grass his tail wrapped near his queens. "You surprise me Xia....and that's a good thing..." He chuckled and nuzzled against her cheek once again.

 Pastel nodded as the King drove her from me thoughts, 'yes, that was a good job for her right now.' The pretty pastel colored lioness thought to herself as she watched the others leave as well. Someone had to keep an eye on the cubs while everyone was gone, someone who was a good fighter when need be.
Her eyes fell on the cubs and she put her head back on her paws to watch them with caring eyes. Hearing Nuri call out to her, she blinked and then looked up at him. Seeing his silly smile, she couldn't help but grin at him. "Why sure, I'd love some help, Nuri." Pastel smiled, glad to have help and actually be smiling, he allways made her feel welcome and she was thankful for his presence.

"oh i hope so" Akira said smiling suddenly imagining himself fully grown "i can't wait to grow, i feel as though i've been a cub for much too long, i want to grow strong and brave...like you!" he said smiling up at the red and black male "and hopefully someday i'll have a mate too and be i'll be happy" he said, he then felt his face grow warm as he realized what he just said "heh...i mean..well that would be nice..to you know have someone..? oh god i gotta stop talking now" he said smiling and laughing a bit "when are you and Kun Yi planning to leave? I have to make sure to be there to see you two off" he said smiling again

He chuckled, ruffling the hair atop the cub's head in a brotherly manner, "You needn't stop talking about sch things - it's natural to want a companion to care for."
He now shifted slightly, his leg getting stiff, "We're leaving first thing in the morning. Kun Yi will need a good rest before a treck like this, and I'll need to be well-rested for... well, obvious reasons."

Meribelle layed in one of the far corners of the cave. Between her two front paws, she shifted a rock two and fro playfully, her ears pricked high upon her head, as she payed the upmost attention to the little pebble. "hehehe" She giggled to herself.

A sigh of relief was supressed as Pastel smiled at him. Part of him had expected her to snap at him for suggesting that she needed any help with the cubs. But the lovely smile he got instead was so unexpected that he was almost glad that she looked away then to watch the cubs. He padded closer and regarded the cubs with his weird pale, yet gentle eyes. To lay down, he curled his body in a protective, vaguely half-circle shape and watched them with curiosity.

Once the beast was on the ground Nola moved her grip to the beast's neck like her mother and held on tightly. Adelle whipped her head violently to snap the beast's neck and kill it quicker. The light of life flew from the wilderbeast's eyes and it gave up its struggle to live finally. After it stopped moving Adelle let go and took a deep breath. "Good hunt eh ladies? Now I say that the youngist ones get to carry it home. What do you say Leanna?" She winked at the other lioness playfully as Nola looked between the others. She still had an adrenilin rush going from the hunt.
