Averil yeah first year can be kinda rough for some people. I'm a pretty good student so it wasn't bad for me, four classes a semester, A's and B+'s in all but one which was a B. I didn't join any clubs though, so that might be a reason I had more time. Nothing at my school really interested me, I just went to LAN parties instead and when back to my highschool to play lan games with people. That and planning LARP's and other dice-based campaigns. O_o who the hell in their right mind actually goes BACK to highschool? lol... sorry that just caught me offguard. I really don't know what I plan to do at college, but evidently its gonna have to work around the schedule. College means a shitload more than highschool, so you definitally don't wanna be ******** around there. I have many friends in college, and just often sometimes wish I was four years old to be with them. I would perfer it might over this s**t. One little piece of advice I got that I will absolutely be taking is drink Redbull. Have a paper due the next day but don't think you'll have the energy to do it? Rip open some Redbull, you'll have the energy to cruise along all night long. lol... That, and try everything presented to you at least once. Rule of thumb for a few of my friends. I dunno if I can do that though, I'm usually not a risk taker. lol... Averil where do you live?

Rooster, you post reminded me of this, so it's not completely random.
For those of you still in high school, take AP courses. I walked into my University as a freshman and because of AP classes and tests I already had 12 hours of credit.

Averil lol Rooster you sound like me! I did most of my research papers two weeks before the due date when we'd already had months. I usually write the things a few days before, mostly so I can edit stuff ((they really nick you on grammer and flow in college)). Hurm. Hopefully it shouldn't present too much of a problem. I'm usually very good and genuine when it comes to flow, but I've been writing for ages. Never finished anything, but I do write now and then. Also I have a book "How to make a Grade-A college essay" I've had it for a few years, only skimmed it once or twice. God I'm such a ninny-po. lol... I know what you mean about writing things a little while before its due. I seem to procrasinate stuff, but it seems that when you grade a report or essay out over months you seem to miss a lot of mistakes come the time to turn it in. College is nothing like Highschool I would take. And I'm just not motivated to do anything in Highschool at this moment.

Teh Halo Rooster, you post reminded me of this, so it's not completely random.
For those of you still in high school, take AP courses. I walked into my University as a freshman and because of AP classes and tests I already had 12 hours of credit. AP @_@ are you shitting me? I got a recommendation for AP history this upcoming year but there is no way in hell I am taking AP classes this year. I'm barely motivated to do the academic stuff. I guess supposidely you get a lot of AP credits at Kents Hill, located in Maine. Rich kids and smart kids from all over the globe go there, and leave only to find themselves already having half their required college credits for a few years. It's effing crazy. If it means anything though, I've been looking over the SAT booklet since the end of the schoolyear, now and then.

Port Moody, Lower Mainland, BC, Canada, Earth, Milky Way...ok I'm done...
unless you want my exact address lol.
And yes, red bull is a friend of mine but, it most be rationed because it can run havok on your system if you drink it too much. Right now I'm working 30hrs a week in order to help pay for school, and come fall I'm going to have to find a part time job. I finally decided to major in history after taking a bunch of general studies stuff last year. I contemplated doing choir in college but changed my mind since I didn't want to be with all the music program students who would all know each other.
And yes, going back to highschool does sound weird, but all I ever do is go hang out in the animation lab and play games. One of my fav highschool teachers was the animation teacher, and strangely enough I never had him for a class. I just interloped on his classes all the time to harrass my boyfriend.

Hah, sounds good to me. I'm always in the PC lab when I don't have to be anywhere. Given, we don't have an animation class per sai. Next year I will be taking webpage design with Dreamweaver (gay prerequiste for webpage design with Frontpage; its stupid that I have to learn the stuff in steps when I've already been using Frontpage for years). Then I believe I have Digital Art and Design, and Visual Media 2. Visual Media 2 required a credit in drama, but I didn't have to do it because the teacher wanted me in the class so bad lol... I guess supposively I can grind out one mean video when I want to. Regardless of my arm stability when filming. lmao... Guys I hope you like it up in the highschool. I can tell you what though, Junior High was one b***h for me, and Highschool hasn't been much easier on me. Just learn tolerance. Trust me. Be aiming to accept people for who they are. And don't let too many things get across your mind at once. I'm a hypocrit when I say this of course, but you'll want to listen to my advise anyway. You don't want to end up like me, trust me.

I did international bacculaureate (and I still can't spell it), in highschool which is like AP. I dropped out of it for gr 12 though, it got way to competitive for my liking. "Oh my god! She gave you 97% for THAT?! Why did I only get 98%? Mine is loads better than yours, etc etc etc. I felt like killing people

Florida, USA, Earth, Solar System, Milky Way, Some distant Galaxy shaped like a spiral, a small speck in the universe, not even one pixel of worth in the 3rd Dimension. (And thanks for the pick-teeth thing. -gives you a loveing waffle of Sithy Lurve!)
