Bleh, having so much trouble choosing. Can you help me select a character to use, since I have a feeling that some of these may be slightly unfitting for the plot? At the moment, I'm only going to use one of these, though more may be added when I feel capable of fitting more into the plot. Angelo LawFamous detective with the "dowsing rod" magic capable of locating almost anything. Despite his arrogant nature and foppish attitude, Angelo is doing everything in his power to help the lost find their way on the track of life. Current PictureJohnathan MorlandMan kept alive by Keepsakes, sent to do the bidding of a mysterious guild that operates along completely uknown objectives. His only goal is to find some kind of freedom from his task, so that he can lay down his sword for good. Character SketchSeth & Naomi GlennThe "Prince of Thieves" and "Desert Rose", a sibling pair who have fended for themselves for years without parents. At the time, Naomi supports the two of them by working whatever job she can hold at the moment, but Seth seeks adventure, believing it will be a better life for them. Both are completely untrained in magic and combat, but with the right companions, their "Blank Page" Seishou can become something wonderful. Prince of ThievesDesert Rose(Had trouble looking for pictures. If anyone has better ones, that would be much appreciated.)

It's a no brainer for me i'd go with set and naomi. Though they won't have magic I suggest a few special abilites are in order, also know that everyone but robots have a seishou affinity. With or with out magic so you'll have to choose. Yet having a clean magical slate and taking up the task as of making the first apprentice type of characters is kinda setting a small mile stone here. It'll be a good show for how learning a different type of magic with a differeing affinity may yield interesting results.

Thanks. I didn't plan on them having almost any skills at first other than something to help learn moves, but as the story progresses, they'd adapt what those around them use and implement things picked up in day-to-day life.
And yeah, I figured that the robot wasn't going to use magic, so I'd plan just a straight up physical type. He probably won't fit in too well, though, so I'll probably spring for the Glenn siblings first.

The Keepsake man seems interesting~ Keepsake's have still been on the shadows a lil' bit, so that would be interesting to see~
But you could also do all of them. o3o They actually seem really interesting 'cause they aren't "all for the fighting" kind of characters. D:

@Elyse - Yeah, I PMed him yesterday and no response yet for today. Hopefully we can plot something out.
@Substitute Hero - I actually like Angelo Law. I'm eager to see how he interacts with other characters with an ego like his. XD

Sub@ well I think they all can be pretty interesting and your role choices are something to grow on.
Sami@ Well lets hope he reads it and works of his probable writers block at the moments. Which reminds me to say that if Cain reads this he can PM me to talk about a possible plot he could bring over to you to bring into the RP, or we could talk about it here since this is the ooc and this place isn't for drama but rather guild related talk or some other fun stuff. Talking bout it here really just sets up a dialogue that others can jump into if they feel like it, though we'll need to come up with a participant number if it grows unexpectedly.
Oh1 Has any one checked out the memories hourglas Sub-forum. I've got soo~ many idea's to work with in that SF. I mean how many characters here have slightly descriptive bios and some questions to be asked in their past or live in the same village and may have crossed paths in some way over the years. It'll really deepen all our stories in them supporting each other and further making things interesting as they stop bumping into each other at random as it were. I'd even say you could start by making the character and doing a pre-present date Rp to introduce your chara's past in this section. =3 Oooo~ I've got stars in my eyes!

Yeah, it WILL be easier if we just plan it out here. I know that sometimes when people are busy they just go to PMs though, so that one shouldn't hurt. Basically what I asked is if he had any ideas for our characters' road trip (like mini-events and whatnot), and that I'm okay with a time skip if he is too busy to post regularly.
The only idea I have for Mina at this time is that she'll slowly get more comfortable with her instincts. In Gearbolt she thought violence would be bad for her business, but since Roughshot seems, well, rough she might learn to use it to better her business practices. XD So she'll be reluctant to actively participate in combat for a while, which should be interesting since Osylla is a merc, after all. What ideas did you have?
The Hourglass does seem pretty cool. 3nodding

Hey what do you think of my ozzark sudden brawl. I think I'm playing her to he skills. though I know that I can't have her cover everything. hopefully team desert Rat has something to say about it when they get on.
As for your story I'd have taken in a few post in some woods or something and have them do some witty banter back and fort delving into there past a bit and having the actual documented occurrence that they got to know each other. along the way I was thinking you guys pick up on each other faults. Like his with engineering and all things stampunk, and yours with being to your heart of hearts a fence, to a better extent is a business woman. As for you time in rough shot it's self I think your idea's pretty solid as for how it develops you, but there are a few things you could look around for directly. Keepsakes to sell in particular. As for cain I'm not too sure how he's going to go about things. though I think he can really work his job to help him build in story. His character's personality and bio leaves a lot to be filed by his RP'ing which isn't a totally lost here. In part I should announce that the Desert rat members almost always have guns, and your not exception. though the two of you are really just associates right now I'm thinking of integrating the two of you and having Mina pick up what business sens Osylla has. It's better to have two heads...they say so Mina's going to be a big part running in G.E.A.R.B.O.L.T. Yet first she's gotta get a bit more tough and let loose. so in tandem with your idea a bit of simple weapons familiarizing and furthering her ability to appraise what things are worth is going to happen.
Oh and please read the ozzark thread I think I'm doing good, but I don't know it gets sticky in there sometimes.

Yea reaper as always you contribut to making my job harder, that is, reeding your posts that are long as heck! haha. Yea I am still trying to develop 21's character. His personality idea is a bit off beat and kinda dificult but give me a few more posts and I will have it. Peronaly technology in the end will fail against magic. at least I think. I meak hell, look at poor Alrick. yea....Got him running for the hills don't you guys. hahha good job for making my character usless and nearly dead. But I greatly enjoy posting with him so keep up the good work!

I'm sorry dirk but my last post was no exception to the length thing. Also don't worry I've gets your back on this, Osylla's just playing her cards and as she's got them. Also Alrick's a tough guy he'll enjoy the vacation in the hospital. I know your characters may not be heavy on the magic, but they do sure as hell get the job done in a pinch.

21 seems pretty kick-a**. 3nodding Mina learning combat and earning connections/business practices from Osylla fits right into the general plan I had for her. She would start with the abilities to be strong and intimidating, but she's taken a more weasel-y approach to life, and isn't ashamed to be called a coward. Mina will probably attempt to slink away from most of the fights, so Osylla and other Desert Rats might have to drag her back into the fray. XD Oh, and for combat I was planning on her eventually being a master of melee, so whatever shooting skill she does pick up would have to be average at best, just so the character stays balanced.
Still no word from Cain.
And holy cow, I can't wait to see what's going down in Oozark (I always have to look up how to spell that) Village. I wonder where it will end up.

Well things with Mina seemed pretty much lined up but as for cain I'm still not to sure how he want's to work with me to build his character. Also I totally know what you mean with the spelling. for some reason I've always spelled it with two Z's not two O's. xd
Also a master of melee moves would be awesome. I've got stars in my eyes again. =3
