((Hmm... seems like i picked a bad time to not be around a computer much... gonk ))
Xiao looked appalled at the idea of the youngest carrying it home. That meant her and Nola! But none the less, she giggled. "Sounds fair to me." She said as she picked up the carcass from the nape of the neck, waiting for Nola to help her out.

Nola grabbed hold of the beast's hind quarters and lifted as best she could. It was a task but she managed to do so without too much trouble. She nodded her readiness to the other lioness and then waited for them to start moving back to the cave. Adelle smirked at the younger lioness and then started to walk home.

Akira smiled lifting his head he sniffed at the air "it seems that the hunting party has returned" he said "we should all get something to eat, like you said, you and Kun Yi need to the rest and food" he said standing up and padding over to the entrance of the cave ready to welcome back the party of lionesses. "get some food then rest, you both deserve it" he said giving his a smile and a polite nod

Leanna gave a small chuff following toward the left side incase they need help. Her tail waved slightly as she purred. "Good work, all of you. We shall eat well tonight." She gave a warm smile at all three of them. Trotting ahead, she roared the returning call letting the others know food was on the way. Her paws padded the ground softly as she came to the entrance. She was surprised to see Akira at the entrance. "Hey little one." Leanna greeted him with a smile settling on her haunches. She turned back to the party. "Shall we eat outside tonight, or in the caves again?" She inquired.

Nuri perked his ears at the return call of the lioness' hunting party. They had been surprisingly fast! He did not doubt their prowess, though there were two young ones among their party, but the time had seemed so short with Pastel and the cubs. He stood up and stretched, then looked at Pastel. "Would you like to eat first? I don't mind waiting," he said, not sure if any of the hunting party were planning on eating right away or not. But offering Pastel the opportunity regardless of whether he would be relieved of babysitting duty or not seemed the nice thing to do. It might make her feel more welcome, which he felt she needed right now.

"hello Leanna!" he said smiling "welcome back! wow that looks good.." he said looking at the carcass then seeing Nola dragging it with Xiao, he ran over to them "wow! did you guys catch this?" he asked

Meribelle looked up as she saw the others in the came go to the entrance, intrested in something. She stood up casually and pranced over, "huh?" She seemed to have been oblivious to anything that had been discussed after her introduction to Ling. The short attention span of a child, obviously was credited with that.

Nola nodded as she placed the beast down on the ground. "Are you proud of me Akira?" She sat down and started to clean the blood from her fur.
Adelle entered the cave after the others and laid down in the corner. She was tired and her bones ached a bit. Perhaps she was getting a little too old for hunting.

Leanna nudged the cubs and slowly made her way over to Adelle. "You did well today." She smiled over at the other lioness. "You go rest while I save you a good share, ok?" The magenta nudged Adelle in friendly way. "Now go rest. I'll take care of things." She flicked her tail as she turned trotted toward the mouth of the cave. She settled on her haunches watching the others. "Well, we have to wait for King Ling to arrive first...I'll try and call him." Licking her muzzle, she raised her maw and roared loudly for the King. The roar basically said that food was here and we're ready whenever you are to eat. It echoed then slowly died out as she layed down on her belly.

"yes! very!" akira said smiling "your becoming a great hunter Nola" he said happily and smiling at her tenderly. "oh shall we get something to eat now?" he said trying to hide the low growling of his stomach "heh.."

Shaitani rose and moved slowly to the carcass, seating himself a few feet from it. Ling came ot his mind, and he couldn't help but wonder where the king has disappeared to, especially since there was food.

The now cub liger laid down at her mothers side. "Did the hunt go well?" Neon pink eyes watched the Pride.

She looked over at her now bigger child and smiled. "Yes, it went well, Blaze. Soon enough, you can come with me. I'll teach you to hunt." She nudged Blaze softly and then licked her snout. "Did you rest well with the other cubs?" Her magenta tail curled around the cub and rested near to the black liger's side. My, how her child had grown!

"Truth be, Mother, I'm not so interested in hunting." No, she preferred the pursuit of the intellect over the physical. The meta-physical was much more interesting. To hear the song of the wind, to listen to the words of wisdom from the stream... That was where her interest lay.

She arched her eyes slightly then chuffed. Leanna nipped her daughter's ear. "No matter where your interests lie..I wish you well, young one." The lioness licked her ear softly then rested her chin on her paws. She was growing hungry and Ling had not returned. Her tail waved slightly and flakes began to shake.
