BOOM BOOM BOOM They were back at this booth again.
Marzena had stayed a safe distance away from Sibyl and Gabriel. She really didn't want to get too close to the two because one, she thought that she didn't need too unless necessary (a.k.a. skin stealing), and two, she really didn't want to be dragged into any games.
...Except this one. And now she was back at not discriminating against the colors.
Marzena really wanted to hole herself back up in her room and not care about the Jackforsaken holiday. But a glance sideways revealed that Sibyl seemed to have grown quiet, which was an absolutely strange thing for the normally annoyingly cheerful ghoul.
"I hate Scarentines." Marzena mumbled to herself, picking up more darts.

BOOM BOOM BOOM No, really. Marzena really hated Scarentines.
Her father hadn't really cared for the holiday, not ever since her mother had been captured. Mira was too busy taking care of the whole family, though she did have some admirers. Sabina was the one who would be the most flustered about it. The rest of her sisters were too young, and only really liked the present part of the holiday. Marzena had mostly spent her time dragging her brother away from flirting with ghouls.
Actually, she would much rather be doing that right now.

BOOM BOOM BOOM Sophie rubbed the back of her neck sheepishly. That wasn't her best throw, by a long shot. The only balloon she'd managed to hit was a heartless balloon. Oops. Well.. One more shot for the heck of it!

On the whole, Lian often found frost demons unpleasant; they were almost the antithesis of his own nature. However, certain branches of their kind were very close kin to his own kind, so he knew that even though he disliked them they were not always so far off from his own nature. But just far enough to make it vastly unpleasant when Siku's cold air washed over him. The Tylwyth didn't display his displeasure, just followed through with the barb-filled tail5. He didn't entirely enjoy the experience, but it was a lesson learned.
"Next time, I will try harder for the a**, as your tail's barbs are kind of unpleasant!" The Tylwyth replied, suddenly, in lieu of a conventional nice to meet you, too. Valiant was already pretty excitable, so on sugar he was doubly so. Just brimming with energy and life. "You're positively frigid, yeah!"
As soon as Siku raised a hand to cover Valian's view of the lights, the corner of his pale mouth slipped up in amusement, and his eyes opened just slightly. Just enough that Siku'd be able to see more of Valiant's nature, should he catch a glimpse. Sharper than he looked, all the Tylwyth were. They just didn't care to appear smart; parties were far more fun than stuffiness, and they really believed that most outward displays of intelligence were mere stuffiness and posturing. Not to mention they'd prevent people from getting caught off guard when the Tylwyth tried to weasel things out of them... Con artists! So maybe Spinar and Valiant had something in common. The only thing was, it would probably be easier to trick Lian than Siku, because Lian's people was more concerned with revelry than the con, even if they liked them best simultaneously.
Well, that and Valiant loved to study, so his own nature was already deviant in the eyes of the other Tylwyth Teg. They found him morose! The tip of Valiant's pale pink tongue darted up to lick at his upper lip, displaying his pearly, sharp canines. "Sweetums. I do love sugar," he agreed, "and I'm sure you could be some kind of Killer. Ladykiller, killer by frost, slayer of unguarded hearts. Or pockets?" Lian rambled, his sharp grin extending just in time for Spinar to take his hand away.
"Why be careful of something so pretty?" Lian asked. All the sharp intelligence was gone from his smile and his eyes, which had narrowed back to their usual state, again. His face had that same sugar-inondated glazed-over look he'd had before.
Sugarhigh, oblivious to everything, Lian's thoughts all ran together in this way: essentially, he was still watching the lights and Rosy's mood bubble, but he'd hear and internally reply to everything going on around him. It just ended up on some sort of time-delayed mental loading dock, and then all at once it'd pour out. So he did four things more or less at once:
One: He approached Siku, Agsil and Chains.
Two: He turned to Chains, and said: "Ashes, ashes, we all fall down," and laughed madly for a moment, before tilting his head skyward and looking at the lights again. Those beautiful lights.
Three: He shot his tail out, closer to Agsil's arm this time, as if reaching for a conventional high-five, despite the fact she had a tail too. Well, she could still intercept and tail5 him as well.
Four: After the longest pause between any of these interactions, he seemed to pay attention to them again for a moment. "What, we can't all travel together? The more, the merrier the party, and the better the loot," Lian said. He didn't exactly make it clear whether he would be doing the looting of the others, or they would be looting together...Then another pause, and: "...where are we going, by the way?"

"HEART BREAKER!" he shouted, managing to take out a fair number of the hearts.. even if nearly half were the wrong target. Close enough for him.

BOOM BOOM BOOM And now it was time for the final go. As he shouted his final cry, Tseng managed to only hit a few of the pink hearts. What was this? He actually did well enough to get a prize this time! The horsemen let out a holler in victory, then cheerily went on his way.
