Nessa stood on the top of the deck looking over the side. She felt very awkward right now. She had always dreamed of being on a crew but now that it was a reality she didn't know what to do. Everyone else on deck seemed so much more powerful then she did, she was almost certain at least one of them had a cursed fruit and here she was, a lowly doctor not capable of doing much. She needed to figure out how to be a better doctor, she needed some sort of trump card that would make her equal or at least close to equal with the others...

Ty was sailing and finally reached the East Blue Port. He then put a rope attached to the boat around a strong pole not letting thee boat go away. Tai then jumped out of his boat and walked onto the port and noticed a man training with his blades. He then turned the the guy and spoke to him. "Hey, Who Are You?"

Rake heard a man shout at him. How annoying indeed when he was just working on training again. He needed to get used to this fake leg of his. He walked over the side of the boat so he could look down to the boy. "It's common to say your own name first. Yet I'm Rake 'Sharp' Cane. What's that mean to you? You don't look like a marine!" Rake didn't know if he where to jump down and teach this boy a lesson that one didn't just disturb him as one pleased.

Ty then looked at Rake and then replyed to him. "Im Tai D. Ace and I am not a Marine not even a Pirate just a Loner." He said serious and started to speak at him again. "I am here to fight you a little spar you can say" He said with his arms folded waiting for an answer, his har in his face.

Rake looked at the boy, his skin spoke little of any tale. "I'll come down, wait a second!" Rake took hold of a rope and worked his way down. Now Tai D. Ace should be able to see the missing left lower leg and the sheathed katana that he used as peg leg. Rake had his b*****d sword on his back and one of his other 2 katanas in hand. "I'll begin like this and if you heat me up I'll take you to the next level. Now attack with with full intent to kill or you'll die here." Rake didn't joke around, he wasn't playing pirate. He was the real deal and last time he checked the strongest person from West blue, one of the strongest in the world. This was Rake Cane in true person.

"Fine lets go" Ty looked at him since Ty didn't know any techniques or anything he would just have to use hand to hand combat. He then ran to Rake as fast as he could and tried to punch him in the stomach. If the attack didnt work, he would then add on with a kick to his side.

As the punch came, it went through. Rake didn't even bother parry or dodge it. He knew that the kids hand would be burned by the logia fruit of fire that he was carrying. Normal attacks was impossible to hit on him. "That won't work!" Rake wouldn't even care to retaliate beside the fact of burning the man with his normal fire that always came when an attack went through his body..

Nessa happened to be on the deck of the ship when Rake got into his spar. She looked over he edge and smiled saying under her breath "Let's see what this one legged swordsmen can do." maybe this whole ordeal would give her a chance to show off her doctor skills.

Ty hand started to burn from the punch he just landed on Rake. His hand burned a little so he quickly moved his hand back and started to shake his hand repetivly. "Ow. Wow! how you do that?" Ty said surpirsed at Rakes ability.

"I'm a fire man, I ate the Mera Mera no Mi. I will tell you no more. Yet it seems as if it's my time. Try and keep up!" Rake knew that this would probably end the boys hope in bating him for a long time. The opponent in front of him was new to the world. Rake would be the first to carve him up. "Multiple Sword Slashes!" Using his geppou to jump in the air it self, Rake went to attack his opponent five times from various direction like left, right, above, behind and such. Using his feel speed (30) to attack the kid to end this quickly.

Nessa's jaw practically fell to the floor when she saw this. "Mera...mera..." Nessa said lightly. This man was a fruit user! A demon was inside of his body giving him super natural abilities! Nessa couldn't believe this, and was especially surprised just watching him fight. If he could do that with one imagine two!

"Awwww CRAP!" Ty said as he then moved back a little and still got hit by all the slashes getting cut in five places blood comming out of the wounds. he then Yelled in pain as he fell on his knees. "ARUUUGHHH!!!!!!!!!"

"Give me a single reason why I should not kill you for disturbing my peace?" Rake had a dark grim look at his face as he stood there in front of the boy with a bloodied katana. Rake raised the blade to continue his session but held still for now. "This is just the beginning of what I know. One legged or not!"

"The reason why you should not kill me is because that I need to live and become stronger so then one day we will fight again and to see how strong I have become. I wanted to be taught by you but you are a person that would kill someone in a spar." Ty said as he then coughed a little amount of blood from his mouth and then got back up shaking a little bit.

"First chance of survival, failed!" Rake moved his arms around to point the katana's point to the opponent. "Pirate Thrust!" A simple thrust came tot he right shoulder of Tai. "Give a better reason then dreams!"
