((It's kinda weird rping as 2 people who are in contact with each other...))

Feliks did not like this. That b**ch was all over his, HIS, best friend! Of course he was going to do something to get her off, since he was boiling over with both anger and jelousy.......but...what? He didn't want to anger either Belarus or her brother....'I'll just, like, see what happens, I guess.'
"Hey, Natalia, you should, like, totally get off him! He, like, already said that he didn't want YOU!" Feliks stood up, crossing his arms.

-----------------------------------

Natalia was honestly a bit taken back. He didn't want her? She thought he did, not that she cared. Well....guess he just didn't want her anymore. Turning to the matter at hand, she saw that her brother began chatting with the Asian again. She'd have to try harder to get his attention....so...what could bring more attention.....well....attention was put on Mathias and Sindre when they were kissing.....using that tactic, she tightened her arms around Toris' neck, leaned up, and pressed her lips against his.

Upon hearing Ivan's reply, Yao's eyes brightened. 'D'awww! Bless, if only I'd known...!' He couldn't help but coo, face flushed a little in secret delight as such a response. It was unlike Ivan to say that he looked up to anyone... And to think that the Russian had thought that about him -of all nations-, it warmed him inside.

'It seems so surreal to think on it now, I bet. It was such an age ago that I first met you, after all... And you were so little and...' He couldn't help it. Yao had found Ivan adorable back then... After all, he couldn't resist anything cute or little. And remembering those rounded violet eyes, the awkward quietness and the sweet little face... It set off that long-hidden instinct to cuddle. He'd had to stop himself from doing so when they'd first met, as he'd not wanted to scare the little Russian by being quite forward.

'You were so cute! I know that probably sounds really patronising, but...' He hugged Ivan tightly, nuzzling his friend's cheek. 'It took so much willpower to not squeal and try to hug you, you know, aru.'

----------

'Specs, hm?' After hearing what Gilbert wanted, Roderich turned his attention back to the cups with a wry smile. 'You suit them, you know. It's a pity that I don't have a spare pair for you.' He hummed softly to himself as he prepared the cups, before filling them with boiling water.

'I wouldn't put it past Ludwig either... He's not known to say things without meaning them, I suppose.' Roderich did think fondly of the German. After all, he hated to admit it but the blond nation had been a great help through the years... And not only that, the Austrian was still technically 'freeloading' from Germany. it was due to this that he still had a stable financial state.

Placing one of the cups in front of Gilbert, he sat in the chair opposite with his own tea. Admittedly, he'd spiked it just a little with a shot of brandy, having felt in the mood to unwind a little more than usual.

'Though I have to say, it's been too quiet around here without the frequent break-ins.' He smiled, blowing gently on the surface of the amber liquid. The mention of Antonio had stirred his memories, and he swallowed. 'Ah. How is Antonio?' he asked carefully, glancing down into his cup. 'I've not... Spoken to him since Italy left.' A little blush rose up on his face, refusing to be surpressed by the aristocrat.

He and Antonio had been wed, once... It had been an arranged marriage and hadn't lasted too long, but they had been married nonetheless. Of course, the Spaniard had caused nothing but grief for Roderich, as he'd voiced his wants to marry both of the Italians whilst also being married to the Austrian... Which Roderich had reacted quite badly to. It had stung a little... Though technically, the pair of them had never truly loved one another.

----------

No, no no. This wouldn't do... Toris felt a pang of fright in his stomach, attempting to pull away from the persistent nation. 'I... Don't think...' He managed to speak in the few instances he managed to prise both he and Belarus apart. 'You heard... Me. I said... I don't... Want...!'

There were few people he could turn to. He didn't want Poland to get in trouble... And Feliks was helping out enough as it was. He doubted that little Latvia could aid him, and Estonia didn't seem to be here... America was busy addressing them all and couldn't help... But he couldn't exactly ask Russia, either. in fact, that was the worst option; he did not want to draw attention to this situation, unlike Natalia.

But he couldn't knock her down.

This was turning out to be the worst day, ever. And to think that just a few years ago, Toris would've given anything to be in this sort of situation... Now he wanted to crawl away into a corner and die before Ivan got to kill him first.

Finally, the Lithuanian couldn't take it anymore. He lifted his hands from their previously-tight position on the arms of the chair, and attempted to push her away. It wasn't rough... He could never raise his hand to hurt a lady, but it was firm enough to let her know that this behaviour was intolerable.

Natalia just pushed against Toris' body even more. He wasn't that strong when he tried to push her away. Although she considered this a serious situation, since she was trying to get Ivan's attention, she also thought it was a bit fun. Toris was so fun to mess with. Slowly, she nipped at his lips, seeing if he would open up his mouth for her.

-----------------------------

Okay, now Poland wasn't only jelous but mad. Not only at Natalia for what she was currently doing but at himself for not doing much about it. He doesn't want Toris to get hurt again...and he doesn't want to be standing around not helping him. Going up behind Natalia, he did the first thing that he could think of: grabbing her around the waist and simply trying to pull her off Toris. Luckily, Belarus didn't have THAT tight of a hold around Toris' neck, and since Poland wasn't afraid to hurt a lady...well...THIS lady, he was able to pull her right off Toris' lap. Dropping her on the floor, his face had a pout on it as he kneeled down in front of her.
"Like, don't get near Liet again!" and he slapped her across her face as hard as he could. Again, he didn't have a problom with being 'rough' with her.
PostPosted: Thu Nov 04, 2010 7:55 am

A very faint blush dusted Ivan's pale cheeks as he averted his eyes, not sure how to take that. He was rather embarrassed, especially since nobody else had told him something like that. Well, Svitlana did. But she used to say he was cute and huggable when he was older, too. So, she didn't really count, he decided. Beside, she had raised him. She was supposed to do things like that.

From the corner of his eye, he spotted Natalia kissing Toris. A flash of fury went through him, the Big Brother in him despising that action. It was all he could do to keep himself from acting. She wanted his attention. He knew that.

When Poland pulled her off, dropped her, and then proceeded to slap her, however? That was a completely different situation. Murmuring a soft 'sorry' in Russian to Yao, he easily picked the Asian up and moved him to another chair so he could get to his feet.

Hurrying over to his little sister, he carefully scooped her up in his arms. He shifted her so he could hold her with one arm before turning a dark look to Poland. As the Russian shifted Natalia so he could hold her with one harm, he then used his free arm to grab the Pole by the front of the shirt and lift him into the air roughly. Once they were face to face, a considerable height difference for Poland, he hissed, "Do not touch my sister again. One warning, that is all," in a dark voice before simply letting go and leaving him to tumble to the floor.

Moving Natalia so she was held with both arms, Ivan turned and headed back over to where Yao was. "That was your own fault, you know," he pointed out in Russian. "So I am not going to give you too much sympathy."

Gilbert gave a shrug at the mention of the glasses he was wearing. "Doesn't matter. Probably won't wear these long," he murmured, leaning his arm against the table and resting his chin on his palm.

At the comment of Ludwig, he gave a slight chuckle. "Don't I know it?" was his dry retort, mentally going through all the things the German had done to 'punish' him for his insane behaviour. It went from locking him out to tying him to a pole and leaving him there a couple of hours.

Gilbert caught the slight scent of brandy mixed with tea, if only due to his many times hanging around with Arthur. He chose not to say anything, instead sitting properly and taking a small sip of his cocoa.

" 'Tonio?" he repeated, shrugging again. "Broke as usual, I guess. Francis and I are always buying things for him since he really doesn't have the money to spare." He chose not to mention that Roderich's marriage to the Spaniard had contributed to his poverty. Between Arthur's pillaging of everything he owned, buying Romano back from the Turk, Russia demanding payment to protect the Spanish children during the Civil War, and Roderich using Spanish money to support the many wars he got into, Antonio came out broke. And due to France's meddling, the many military risings had ensured that he remained broke.

"Still oddly cheerful, though. Even when Romano bitches him out," he added, taking another sip of cocoa. And Romano sure had been bitching a lot lately. Two weeks ago, he had stayed at Antonio's since he was kicked out of the house. Romano really hated Germans, which included him. It was...an interesting stay, to say the least.

"Well, she was, like, so asking for it." Feliks muttered after the Russian left. Letting out a small huff, he proceded to sit back down in his chair. He wasn't in the greatest mood now, so he didn't bother to say anything. Giving a sigh, Feliks closed his eyes. He may be one of the only countries who was less intimidated by Ivan that many of the others were, but he was still intimidating. Ivan did what he did for Natalia, and Feliks did what he did for Toris, it simple as that.

-----------------------------------------------------------

((Bewear, OOC Belarus >3> ))

She had not expected that. She knew she wasn't holding onto Lithuania that tight, and had even expected that someone might even pull her off of him, hoping that would have been her hopefully jelous brother, but what she had not expected was to be slapped. Everything seemed to be slowed down a bit, because the next thing she knew was that her brother was carrying her. She could feel the cheek that had been hit begin to sting now.
"I-I'm sorry..." she replied back to her brother in Russian as well, "It's just....it's just...." Natalia hadn't cried for a long time. So long that she couldn't remember the last time. But now....after being slapped trying to get her brothers attention, and being told that she wouldn't get any sympathy from him, she couldn't help but feel like a little kid again. Small tears began to roll down her cheeks as she let out small noises.

His attempt at being stern ended at a dead halt when the Russian spotted the tears brimming from Natalia's eyes. When he made it back to where the Asian sat, he moved the chair he had vacated to go to the Belorussian's side, placing her in it and kneeling in front. He pulled off his glove, gently touching it to her cheek. It wasn't too badly of a hit, but it was a bit red already.

With his other hand, still gloved, he carefully started wiping away her tears, making soft shushing noises. He didn't care if he was showing to much kindness to the other nations. Natalia was his baby sister, and he had to protect her. It was just... It was just something that a brother had to do. He had to protect his sisters. Both of them.

Stopping in wiping her tears, he gently set his gloved hand on her head, giving a soft smile. "It is all right, Natalia. Just...just don't do something like that again, okay?" he murmured, still in Russian

He glanced over at Yao, smiling slightly.

*Since these four posts are going to be rather short, I'm blocking them together.*

Ludwig blinked, glancing back over in the American's direction. It looked as if he was finally going to do something. It was about time. After all, it was already an hour after the meeting was supposed to start. A irritable feeling followed that thought, since he hated when things were not punctual.

However, things were going to be a bit difficult for America to gain control of. After Belarus and Poland's little scrap, with the Russian getting involved, people were going to be too busy talking amongst themselves to actually pay any attention.

Instead of offering help, he simply relented to watching how the American was going to deal with things.

Pulling away from Francis, Antonio glanced around the room curiously. Spotting Lovino and Isabella, he completely forgot about his dear friend and quickly got to his feet without a word.

Hurrying over to them, he beamed. "Lovi! Bella! Buenos dias!" he chirped, settling beside the blond. Leaning over, he kissed her gently on the cheek in greeting.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Finally, something was happening. Vash gave a dark glance in the American's direction. He hated being kept waiting, especially when he didn't want to be there, anyway. He would have much rather have had stayed at home. It was sunny, warm, and private. He hated having to deal with the other nations, excluding his sister.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Still troubled over what Roderich had done, Elizabeta didn't even hear the American in her pondering. Nor did she noticed the issue between Belarus, Poland & Russia.

Alfred frowned at the attention Poland and Belarus were causing. He really wished they would shut up so he could dismiss the meeting.
"Yo! Everyone, shut your traps and listen for a sec, can you do 'That!" As Alfred yelled, a southern twinge entered his voice.
'Crap...' He thought as he realized that, people usually laughed when his accent came out, others quieted when his accent showed, it was a fifty-fifty shot.
"Attention!" He called again, hoping the room would quiet down.

((I think I'm going to steal your way of presenting the native tongue, Dark~ I hope you don't mind... As I don't speak fluent Chinese, Lithuanian (whatever language that is o.o), Norwegian or German.))

This was awkward. Yao had witnessed all that had happened, and suddenly felt so out of place. It was partly his fault, but he couldn't help but dislike Natalia for this sort of behaviour. He wasn't going to try such a thing himself, of course... He was above that. Well, disregarding his earlier attempt at unsettling Ivan with his actions in the hallway. He attempted to smile back at the Russian, though it was false. Of course, he approved of Ivan's handling of the situation -bar scooping her up the way he had- but he couldn't help but feel slightly bitter in regards to Natalia. He had a right mind to scold her about abusing people the way she did in order to gain Ivan's atention, but it wasn't his place.

In fact, the more he thought about it, the less he felt welcome in this 'moment'. They were brother and sister, after all... And he was the intruder, the reason why Natalia went to such lengths to get Ivan's attention. And not only that, they were speaking in Russian, which Yao only partially understood. And, seeming as Natalia was speaking in a shaken way, and Ivan's voice was so quiet, he barely understood a word at all.

This was probably what it was like to be alienated. Yao supposed that Ivan had felt like it too, and probably still did when having to speak English.

Now he felt stuck. He couldn't go and speak with Heracles, as it would upset Ivan. He couldn't go and talk to America, as that would upset Ivan too. He couldn't exactly stay here and be an unwanted part of this situation, and no other nation would talk to him, either... So he was alone. This was a bitter reminder, indeed.

'I'll just leave you two be.' Yao mumbled, supposing that the two were too preoccupied with one another to hear him. He stood, brushing himself down before leaving the room, heading for the vending machines.

This was a dilemma. Usually, the Asian disliked anything that tasted ordinary... And that included the sorts of snacks that were offered in the vendors. However, the bright packaging did take his mind off of the loneliness he felt... And apparently, chocolate was good for that too.

----------

'Broke, hm...?' It may not have been mentioned by Gilbert, but Roderich was fully aware of what damage he'd done to the Spaniard's finances during the course of their marriage. He took a drink from his cup, shivering slightly. 'I suppose not everyone is in the best financial climate nowadays... Still, it's nice to know that he's still as warm as he always was. Pity.' He glanced away, attempting to rid himself of that awful fluch on his cheeks.

'He's a good man, I suppose... Even if Romano doesn't see it. Anyway.' This conversation topic was awkward. Well, for the aristocrat, it was. It brought back memories... Very many memories.

'I'm not that high-maintenance, you know.' He said suddenly, face deepening in colour. 'I can imagine that Ludwig complains about me a little... But if I wanted to, I could... Stand on my own two feet...' Gods, that was humiliating to say. Basically, he'd just stated 'I could do well by myself, but I'm a lazy scrounger'... And he hadn't meant to say that at all. In fact, he'd meant the opposite entirely. He drained his cup in a few moments, setting the empty vessel down on the table with a little clatter.

'I... I suppose I can't. I can't do it. It's... Odd. You and I were basically countries of war... But yet, you were just so much better at it than I was. And am.'

----------

That was it. Toris had tolerated enough today, and this was just laughable now. Without a word, he stood, making a beeline for the Russian's side with a softened growl in his throat.

'Sorry to interrupt, Russia. But I would like a word, outside. Now, if you don't mind.' It took a great deal of effort to keep the anger from his voice. It had been quite a while since he had addressed the Russian, and never with such boldness. He wouldn't look at Natalia, not after what she had just done to him.

He wasn't having this. He wasn't having any of this. He'd had enough of being pushed around, and to watch Ivan try and intimidate his best friend... That was the straw that broke the camel's back. The Lithuanian wasn't going to be accepting of it anymore.

'Make haste, if you don't mind.'

While he did want to calm his sister down, he also did not want to give her the attention that had caused her to do this in the first place. It was a difficult position, if only due to the fact that he wasn't able to remain stern when he saw either of his sisters' cry.

He glanced up when Yao decided to leave, staring at his back as the Asian left the room. He wanted to go and follow him, but he...he just couldn't. He didn't want to leave his sister in this state.

Shaking his head, he forced it aside for the time being. He tapped her under the chin with his bare hand so she was looking at him. "It was just a slap. Not even that hard, Natalia. Nothing to cry over, right?" he murmured in Russian.

When the Lithuanian appeared, he glanced backward with calm violet eyes. He looked back over to his sister. He didn't want to leave Natalia in this state, but the Lithuanian deserved something after putting up with her. Sighing, he leaned over and gave her a light kiss on the forehead. "I'll be back in a moment," he told her, using his native tongue because it was easier.

Getting to his feet, he replaced his glove back on his hand and motioned for the Lithuanian to lead the way. "Do mind, but lead way," he mumbled, switching to English. He doubted that Toris wished to speak the language of his former conqueror and he supposed he could grant him that much.

Gilbert gave a small smirk at the blush that was still stubbornly painting the aristocrat's cheeks. He resisted the urge to comment more on the Spaniard, particularly the former marriage between him and the Austrian. While he was positive that the reaction would have been amusing as Hell, he decided to give him a bit of a break.

He gave a slight shrug. "Romano sees about as much as 'Tonio. I'm sure you recall how much that is, right?" He was meaning the pure obliviousness that the Spaniard had lived his life. It was remarkable when he noticed anything, after all.

He blinked when the Austrian started talking about how he was not high-maintenance. He raised a brow, taking another sip of cocoa. "I never said you were," the albino pointed out. "Plus, Ludwig doesn't complain about you. At least, not to me. If I recall correctly, he is normally to busy complaining about myself and Sunshine to worry over you." He paused, realizing he had never used that nickname around the Austrian. "Um, Feliciano, I mean."

While he knew that the only reason he was being as loose lipped as he was currently was only due to the medication, he kind of enjoyed simply talking to the Austrian. It was a rare thing. "We may have been formed from war, but... It doesn't particularly mean that was our forte, ya know? I am really awesome with strategy. You're good with the arts." Oh Lord, that was sappy. Damned medication.

'Right.' Toris muttered, turning on his heel in order to walk out of the conference room, past Yao, and outside, giving Ivan the fleeting, worthless explanation of 'No disturbances. I've got alot to say.'

Back out in the rain, the Lithuanian felt anger prickling down his spine. The day had riled him to no end, and the weather did nothing to improve his temper. Everything had gone wrong, and the Russian hadn't made anything better. All that Toris knew was that he didn't want to be pushed around anymore, and he didn't like how Ivan had treated Feliks... And, seeming as how Ivan had split the two up before, it was even more of an insult.

With this thought in mind, the former subordinate wheeled around to face the Russian, eyes aflame. He'd snapped. He couldn't take it anymore. And, although he feared Ivan and always would, it didn't hold him back on his next move.

'This-' Drawing his hand back, he surged forward with a right hook to the jaw, fuelled by his bitter temper. It did not phase Toris then, but he'd just hit Ivan... With as much force as he could muster. '-Is for the s**t you have put me through...!' His normally calm voice had turned into a snarl, much unlike the submissive nation he'd had to be before. He rolled up his sleeves, undoing his tie with a soft growl in his throat.

'I can't stand nations like you, or your sister. I won't be intimidated any more...! And neither will Feliks. See, you don't understand, do you? What he did for me in there was something best friends do. But you'll never understand, Ivan!' He cried. 'Because you'd not do it. You'd not do it for me, you'd not do it for China...! You know...' He paused, running one hand through his hair and laughing flippantly, hands shaking due to the surge of adrenalin he'd gotten from that one hit...

'I don't know what he sees in you. I bet if you ask him, he'll not know either!'

----------

Yao watched from the corner of his eye as the two nations passed, feeling a flash of worry run through his body. Toris had a look of anger about him... And the way he held himself made him seem tense, on edge. As tense as a stretched rubber band, being pulled further and further...

Clunk. The third bar of chocolate fell into the bottom of the machine, which Yao retrieved. And, like the two before, he wolfed it down, before fishing in his wallet for more change. They were addictive... Tasted bland, but... He couldn't help it. The Asian shoved the wrapper into his pocket, about to put more change into the machine, when-

'What on Earth...?' Yao heard Toris shouting, but due to the rain, could not make it out. The nation seemed pretty upset about something, as Yao feared, but he knew it was not his place to pry. If the Russian needed him, he knew Ivan would find him easily. And besides, it wasn't like Lithuania to get violent, so there was no need to worry.

...But perhaps he would take a glance anyway, more for curiosity rather than worry. Selecting a variation of the same brand of chocolate he'd been eating before, Yao waited for the machine to dispense it.

----------

'Heh... Yes. Poor Antonio.' Roderich stood, only to make himself another cup of tea- of course, with the same ingredients as the previous. He knew it was a bad idea, but he'd not drank anything alcoholic in a while... So it'd be alright. Surely.

Sitting a few moments later with a fresh cup, Roderich pondered over what Gilbert had said. 'Mm, I suppose I'm not really anyone's main priority at the moment. It's a good and a bad thing, I guess. Keeps me out of trouble, hah.' He raised one eyebrow at the nickname. 'Sunshine...? My my, aren't you awfully fond of the boy?' He remarked, feeling a little bolder now that the little brandy had hit his system. 'I suppose I was at one point... Not in that way. But... His blissful ignorance was refreshing, especially at times of hardship. Made me feel quite old when I worried.'

He couldn't help but chuckle. 'Ah, yes. You're particularly fond of the word 'awesome', are you not? I suppose that yes, you are remarkably apt when it comes to strategy... As for my like of the arts, I can only say that it's not helped at all. As much as I want it to have done... It's not.' He took a sip of his tea, hissing slightly at the burn. 'Ow. At least you seem to have no fears... If I told you mine, you'd laugh at me.'

Alfred frowned as the small group left the room. He let out a sigh and frowned.
"Meetin's canceled!" He called as he swiftly walked out the door. He didn't need to take anything with him, he didn't bring anything to begin with.
He had a headache, he hoped no one would bother him.
He ended up outside, he ignored Ivan and Toris.
He gave a quick scan and saw that about three blocks away there was a convenience store. He briskly walked that way, ignoring the rain and the fighting.
'I'll get Kiku some stuff, make sure he fells better and go crash at a hotel.'
Alfred thought as he left the building. The rain was quickly soaking his hair, but he didn't care at the moment.
He arrived at the store and walked inside, he felt and looked like a drowned rat.

A light blush tinged the albino's cheeks when the Austrian called him on his use of 'Sunshine' for the Italian. He was taking a sip when he said it, too, which caused him to drink it badly. Coughing harshly, he waited for it to die down. "W-well, have you really dealt with him?" he retorted in defense, not mentioning the time he had asked the Italian on a date and was completely ignored. It was a bit of a sore spot for him. Beside, it had only been to pester Ludwig since he was fairly certain that the German liked Feliciano and was completely unaware of that fact. He managed to get his blush to die down.

Listening to the Austrian speak, Gilbert was content to have his ego stroked. However, his red eyes grew somewhat listless at the mention of him having no fear. The scar on his chest stung again and he dropped his gaze.

"No fear, huh?" he repeated in a very soft voice. A mirthless smile tugged at his lips. He shook his head. "I remember when that was true." He didn't want to speak of this. He didn't! This was exactly why he was worried about taking medication in the first place!
