After having taken the time to adjust to the new arrivals, mostly because they had managed to crawl all over him. Ling pushed himself from the ground. He sighed and gathered two of the kittens onto his back and the third in his mouth. He would take them to the cave first. leave them in the care of his pride and then return for the sleeping Xia.
The king moved with a lightening pace, not bad seeing as how he had only fought hours ago. He approached the cave, moving slower. He was unable to roar, so he would have to be cautious. He entered the cave, setting his new family on the cold stone flooring of their new haven.
He looked to his pride, a proud smile on his face. "Forgive my absense...it seems we have grown by three. Please take care of them for me while I go and gather their mother." He chuckled in a light hearted tone. He took note of the meat his lionesses had brought for the pride and noddeda t each of them. "Please...eat while I fetch our queen..."

Akira padded over to the carcass taking a small peice for himself and walked back over towards nola. he sat down and began to eat slowly. "next time you go out and hunt..would you mind if i joined you? I don't have to..but i'd like to go on a hunt once" he asked

She nodded toward her King and came to the carcass. She took a chunk from the thigh and went toward her corner with her daughter. Placing the meat infront of her, she let her daughter eat first as Leanna slowly cut some strips for herself. Soon, her eyes wandered to the three cubs and she watched them. They were extremely beautiful and the magenta couldn't be any more happier for the King and Queen. A softened look came into her face as she wondered if she would have any of her own some day. Whenever that day came, she hoped it would be a splendid one. Looking down at Blaze, she chuffed. "How's the meat, my child?"

Meribelle walked over to the food cautiously. She had always been taught to let the males eat first, but Ling has said it was alright,...so she sniffed the carcas, before ripping off a piece of meat for herself. a rather generous portion, but she was hungry! She took the meat deep inside the cave, almost afraid someone would snap at her for taking what she did, but she laid down, and began to chow down, hobvering over her food protectively. Maybe next time she would assist on the hunt,...

The forest king moved forward and took a section of meat, moving away from the pack with it and to his corner of the cave.
Truth be told, he was eager to leave, as much as he hated to admit it. He loved this pride, but he was ready to start his own with his queen.
He ate in silence, many thoughts running through his mind about this pride, his future pride, and his pregnant mate.

Blaze chewed methodically, eyes staring out over the oasis. She was at home here and would start exploring soon. The little liger wanted to know the secrets of the hidden paradise.
"It is fine, Mother."

Nola grabbed a piece of meat for herself and settled in next to Akira again. "I wouldn't mind it if you came along but I would ask Ling or Xia before actually going. They might want you to do something else." She smiled at the thought of Akira watching the hunt...watching her as it were.
Adelle had laid down in the corner of the cave and was restingher eyes. She felt frightfully old at the moment.

"oh! of course! but i'll wait until king ling is well again" he said smiling and taking another bite of the meat, thouroughly enjoying Nola's company. he smiled thinking of how much better his life had become when he joined the pride, meeting new lions, making friends and also...feeling something he'd never felt before. he glanced over at Nola and then turned his head away quickly. a strage but happy feeling what was it? he thought shaking his soft head.

After he finished his meal, Shaitani rested his head on his paws and wrapped his tail tightly around his body. The cave floor was cold against his skin still, and it sent cihlls throughout his body. With a sigh, he closed his eyes against the interior of the cave, relaxing his senses so he oculd hopefully have a good rest before leaving.

It took Ling awile to gather his sleeping queen. He held her on his back, moving slowly to make certain that she would not fall off as he made his way to the cave. He knew she was tired, he'd heard that giving firth often was. He would let her rest, she needed it.
The king moved to the mouth of the cave, near caving in as he carefuly let his queen roll to the ground near him. His kittens huddled around their mother near instantly, it was obvious that the poor queen would get no rest with these three.
Ling smiled and looked to his pride. He looked stronger now, but there was still open wounds on his sides. He pushed himself to standing, pushing his body deeper inside the caves. "Forgive my absense..."

Nola looked to Ling and smiled. "You don't need to ask for forgiveness for you have done nothing wrong. Please rest so you can heal faster." She finished her meat then and started to clean her fur of all the blood. It wouldn't do to have blood still in her fur during the next hunt. That would alert their prey.
Adelle heard the king return and stood moving closer to the others. She laid down again close to Akira and Nola. She could see the potencal between those two and she was happy.

Leanna gave a small chuff toward King Ling as she stood. "Please...do not ask for forgiveness, King. What is the use when one has done nothing wrong, such as Nola said." She gave him a gentle smile then slowly bowed. "If you all will excuse me, I'm going to get some fresh air." She moved with lithe motion from the other lions and went out on her own. The lioness soon came near to the edge of the territory. A small sigh escaped her lips as she looked toward the desert. Something was drawing her...drawing her to go there. Deep in her heart, she knew why. But, was it possible? She sighed yet again and began thinking of young Anya and silly Karver. How were they fairing? She missed them terribly. "Oh dear stars..." She murmured softly. "Keep the ones I love safe...let them know how much I care..." she murmured softly settling down in the grasses. She just wanted to be alone for a while. The magenta lioness quietly fell asleep, a few tears dropping down her face into the grasses..actually wishing it was sand...

Akira licked his muzzle clean of the blood, and then began to clean his paws.when he was done he laid his head down on his front paws get a little bit of sleep. "perhaps, tommorow I can go with the lionesses on the hunt" he thought

Blaze laid next to the stream, neon eyes watching the flow of the water. It whispered to her of far off places, other lions and it's dark depths. The liger's tail flicked back and forth as she listened.

Now that everyone was back and around the cave, Nuri fed on his own share of the kill. Pastel had not bothered to reply, so he simply left. Stupid to coddle one lioness over any of the others. Adelle seemed more tired than the other hunting party members (though she may have lead, he did not know), and Leanna seemed more distant and wistful than normal. Flicking his tail in annoyance, he finished and padded off to the watering hole where he cleaned paws and muzzle. His feathered tail thumped the ground softly as he rested for a few moments, enjoying the sound of running water. Such an amazing phenomenon, something he had rarely experienced in his travels. Dew had most often been his way to sooth a parched throat then. And while it seemed nice in this oasis, paradise in a very literal way, he felt restless. Rising to his feet, Nuri wandered along the perimeter of Ling's lands, patrolling. It made him feel much better, though still almost caged in a way...
