Yakov laughed, but managed to keep it somewhat calm. "I really recommend you talk to Holly about this. You two need to work something out in case this happens again."

"Well I don't Holly will be back for a while, but you are welcome to hang out here until she does if you'd like?" Jeff suggested.

As if on cue, the door opened and Holly was officially back. She looked nervously at the boys. "Um...hi."

Yakov stood up and grabbed Jeff's hand. I think this is our cue."

Yakov pulled Jeff to the back yard and sat on the back steps. He was quiet for a moment before he laughed. "I still don't think he quite understands."

Jeff closed his eyes and thought. He wasn't tired, just thinking. And it felt wonderful to just sit on the steps with his fiance.
