I'm trying to get people to play Gunbound and nobody is biting. Anyone in here play or used to play? Interested in playing again? emo I just hate playing games by myself. And 1v1 isn't fun for Gunbound. xd And I've never read any of the HP books, and only seen the movies when they air on TV. Wait, that's a lie, I saw one at the theater for free because my friend's then-boyfriend [now husband] works at a movie theater and he used to be in charge of getting the films spliced together before they came out. This included running it all the way through to make sure nothing bad happened like it coming apart during the ads or in the middle of the movie or whatever. And the managers at the theater were cool and didn't really mind if they brought a couple people in once in a while. Score for me for seeing movies before they came out, and free to boot. 8D

I was just talking with my mom, and apparently my little sister just discovered Michael Jackson was black. 
She was listening to ABC, which her class apparently sung in a chorus thing, and asked my mom if it was a boy or a girl singing. My mom of course said it was Michael Jackson, and he was really young at the time. She then showed her pictures of him from around that period...
"Where's Michael Jackson?"
"Right there..."
"But he's black..."
"Yeah, that's Michael Jackson. He-"
"Did he get beat up?"
"...beat up?"
"Yeah, his nose if all puffy and big."
 Ah, children. So amusing.

Xanilus Pixiedevil Gonna see the new Harry Potter when it comes out, what's with the chronicles that comes after? Confused'd??? burning_eyes maybe should have read the last book... The 7th book was really long (pretty much Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter style) so they're doing the final movie in 2 parts.

Ah... I was aware of that, but not aware it was being referred to as 'chronicles'.
Considering my slight disappointment in how much was cut from Goblet, let alone the fact that it was longer than Hallows (not by much), I rather wish they had split that one into two movies. From what I recall, the director considered it, but a previous director said something akin to "Nah, man, just do it in one shot." So he did.

The description kinda fits, too. Always wanted to be the crazy hermit living in the woods. Most people probably think I quit Gaia ages ago. And every time I take that D&D quiz, I wind up as an elven ranger mage.
Plus, capes and earrings! Still think the musket looks more like a trumpet, though. Haven't decided whether I want to just buy a few of the pieces or the set thingy, yet. I like the Bahn Hammer, but the mage and ranger equipment are the only sets I see myself wearing. Then again, those two are the most expensive and I imagine there is some sort of discount involved.
Had to buy the dragon the second I saw it, though. I shall name him... Michael. (LoD reference, yo.) And, as an added bonus, he looks more like the cute baby dragons that follow you around in the Lunar games! Guess he's going to be a smartass, then. biggrin
Edit: Oops. Forgot about the 'sin gear. I think I shall buy the packet and sell off the sets I don't want to buy dupes of the sets I like. The Pizarro item does amuse me, though... Well, guess I'll see if they have the penguin cash cards at my Walmart yet after my meeting with my advisor... bleh. Why do they have to put them in the back of the store? I get the marketing gimmick that if you see more, you buy more. But really, if I go there for one measly Gaia/music/phone card... that's all I'm getting.

I'm gonna be going to Baltimore this weekend for Otakon. I will try to keep low-key by carrying a big-a** Pikachu about with me and am gonna bug Lanzer during the panel.
I will not, however, be chanting "cookies".

Sorry for the month trip? But I had a fantastic birthday. smile Hope everything is good here! Looks like everyone was bored. Heavily.
Sorry for the short reply but I gotta run, literally. I try and jog 2 miles every day or 2 and a half if I have time. I love that it doesn't get dark until 8:30pm!
Also, ab work. UGH.

I start my Navy mentoring next Thursday. Not only is there a lot I need to memorize, but I also have to whip this booty into shape. i guess, I'll be mentoring with my recruiter once every month until I'm off to boot camp.
