((Oh lovely! A returner. I liked your character, too. Looks like I might need to send PMs to get regulars back, though, which is sad. I don't know when I'll be able to do that. Sooner or later, though.))

Shae, having received the call, signaled the men of Five Star and called Gabe. "We're getting out of here, come on." He made his way to the street and, trusting his men to make it back (and they would), he took off for the van they had arrived in. He would arrive within two minutes.

(( Just another note, I've read trough everything now, it's been a while, and I noticed something, Ivan should have heart lvl 2 now, since his last augment. I'll work Ivan in somehow when I wake up. ))

((Oh. I'm working on getting things organized, and it'll take me some time - I've discovered recently that I'm suddenly and completely irrationally terrifyingly busy for the last couple days of the school year. School's technically pretty much out, but this Saturday'll probably be zany. Ought to be some time on Sunday, but I never know. Monday, though... hopefully things'll start clearing up then.))
As Shae and his mercenaries moved down the street, they observed just how much havoc these newcomers were creating. One of their cars had been shot enough that it had lit up, and it looked like its occupants had not escaped, but the rest were still cruising up and down the streets, shooting everything and anything. It was difficult to make progress at the rate they were going, but they managed well enough thanks to the other syndicate's agents.
It occurred to them that Hades had never even bothered telling them the name of the other syndicate.
((Ivan would theoretically be on site, because we haven't said he's not. Good enough for me.))

((And by the way, you can't have Heart Lvl 2 - it hasn't been developed yet. Capturing this NinjAgent, however, will make that move along quite speedily.))

(( It's fine, just upgrade him to heart 2 once we get the technology. ))
Ivan awoke in a cold sweat. He sat up from his dark room, slowly looking at the clock on the wall. His hand began to shake like a tremor and he grabbed his palm with the other hand looking down slightly at the jerking of the motion. He let his grasp go and picked his orange tinted shades, placing them abruptly on his face. He let out a short smirk and walked out of the room. It was quite dark and he didn’t mind that nobody seemed to be around.
A few weeks had passed, they had conducted psychiatric tests on him, tried different pills and prescriptions, and nothing showed anything worth giving a damn. Ever since that incident, nobody seemed to trust him, not even for the mission the others had been assigned to.
Ivan walked down the cold dark hallway as he adjusted his clothes and brushed his shoulder off slightly as he marched down to the parking garage. He stood in the elevator as it arrived and watched as the doors came to a full shut, watching the numbers at the top of the elevator slowly go down one by one. With a last ding the doors slid open. He walked calmly towards a vehicle that was left behind. He hopped on the bike pulling a small key from his pockets of his yellow and black coat, turning it slowly, the headlights of the bike lighting up as he slowly backed out of the space.
He was given no weapons considering he wasn’t briefed for the mission, but that wasn’t to say he was unarmed, his trusty blades were still with him, as well as a few pistols that he had snuck away from the munitions ward that he had stashed away. He pulled out one of the guns and made sure it was loaded, then putting it away and checking the other. He gripped the handles tightly and revved the engine, pulling out full speed off into the night.

Not sure, but I think we'll be getting answers pretty quickly here. I hope. We might have to pull a few more stunts like this. That was comforting.
---
Interestingly, no one stopped Ivan as he drove off. The gates opened for him like they would for any other vehicle, and he cruised through as casually as anyone.
Five minutes out, probably, he judged. That wasn't a long ride.
((More work done tomorrow! Start putting together some real notes. I might program up a program to set up notes... Hmm...))

I'll assume, then, that they're on our side, and I won't be trying to stop them. Shae and most of his men were very near the extraction point.

They are not on our side, but you should attract no more attention to yourselves.
The APC was fired up, and Steven claimed the driver's seat yet again. How he had cleared the explosion of the other vehicle was miraculous enough.

The vehicle, now filled with the remainder of Bullfrog's team, accelerated rapidly, or as rapidly as it could, and started cruising home. Shae's men disappeared into the city, and back to whatever transportation method they had used.
As they exited the city, they saw something that almost no one did anymore: aircraft, of the military variety, soaring overhead. Just as they passed over the APC, they fired missiles. Remarkably, there were none in return, as almost anyone else who used aircraft would have suffered - that had been the downfall of non-hovercraft airborne war machines. How strange.
They drove for about five minutes, as before, and arrived at the all-glass building Hades' office was in. Back into the underground parking garage they went, and then the Agent groups split up, Josh Cook's heading off one direction with their severely-wounded-by-a-car member, and Cado, Alyx, and Shae heading off another.
At the top of the elevator ride, they moved back into Hades' lighted reception room, and then through the mysterious doors into the room that now seemed to stay light for them.
"Very well then. Now, I don't suppose you know what we've accomplished here, or what we're about to?" Hades inquired. "No, you really don't, because I haven't told you. Obviously a habit I need to get over.
"You just rooted out the folks who tried to pull mind-control tricks on us. We just needed to give them a reason to show up somewhere, and... bam. Right there. Easy as pie.
"The trouble is, we don't know anything more about them than we did before. Other than that they're reactive. So take a bit of rest, and in a few works, we'll flush them up again, and then you get to follow them back and try to infiltrate them! Sound like fun? Any questions?"

"Wait" Shae said. "Those guys, the better Agents. Those are...them? The ones...wow." He was clearly speechless. He looked around for Gabriel.
