Remus felt a wave of relief. This wasn't at all about their grades, or missing class. It was about that stupid, dratted maze, thank heavens.
Sirius eyed Kael suspiciously. "Explain," he demanded.

Leah sat straight up in her chair excitedly. 'Yay for not being crazy?' [She thought.]
Kailyn simply raised her eyebrows, curious. Were things always so wierd here at Hogwarts?
Severus had been feeling very out of place, but the appearance of his fellow Slytherin put him slightly more at ease. Andromeda Black was one who could always be trusted to take hold of the situation. As for people being in the maze before... So was it just a deathtrap under the school, ready to swallow students up at a moments notice? Perhaps not a deathtrap, but Gwin looked like she had been chewed, digested, and spit up again. Well, almost. Heh...

[OOC: Indeed- I was actually going to wait until dear Allie posted- But after talking to her today, I thought I should kinda pull it along: Posting or not! [/declaring finger in the air] So there! XD]
Andromeda raised her eyebrows, giving Sirius a cheeky smile, and with a qwick whirl of her hands, pointed with both hands to Kael.
Kael gave a bit of a shrug, before doing the same to the Headmaster.
Albus waved merrily.
"As Mr. Shaklebolt said, you aren't the first batch of students to enter the maze." He said simply, smiling a bit, memories flashing through his mind.
"The maze that is hidden within Hogwarts is anchient, and I'm sure there were many who went in and out of there." He nodded to the two 7th years.
"Indeed, even I have been in the wonderous maze." He took a deep breath.
"The maze itself cannot be completely explained. It simply is. Noone knows how long it's existed, because so many come to see it as a dream, or think that it simply didn't happen." Dumbledore shook his head sadly.
"The items you've obtained will have turned into charms by now," he mused, noting the glance at the Gryffindor Sword, now returned to its rightful place. "and I know not if there is much more to discuss..." he trailed off, stroking his beard, and looking at Rockelle and Lorian fondly.

[Yay for dictating? Roo taking orders from Allie via Phone.... So cool, post time!]
Rockelle shrugged her shoulders innocently, and gave a sheepish smile. "So, we don't know how long it's been there, we don't know who has been in there, and we get sucked in, beat around, and spit back out as if nothing had happened?"
Then, out of the corner of her eye, she spotted Fawkes fluffing his feathers; She gave another big smile and outstreched one hand out to the pheonix slowly, saying "Hi, Fawkes."

Albus thought for a moment.
"Yep. I think you've pretty much got it." he said jovially.
Gwin was less than impressed.
"You can't be serious!" she sputtered. " I mean, what would the point be if that's all there is to it?!"
Albus smiled, leaning back in his chair.
"Aw, how the young's memories work..." he mused. " 'The new year is known for amazing qualities, new hope, and a chance of extrodinary friendship-', or 'I would advise wize choices. Not only in friends, in toilet paper, and places to hide, but as well as partners for the upcoming events.' " he paused for effect.
"None of this is ringing any bells?" He gave a small sigh, muttering, "I suppose I really should use Sonorus [Voice-advancing spell] during announcements. That might catch some people's attention..."
"Anyways," he said brightly, "I would like to say that it SHOULD have been a bonding experiance- But if not..." he trailed off, glancing again at Lorian and Rocklle.
"Hold on half a tick. You two didn't have items, did you?" His eyes widened, and he tilted his head.
"No sir." Lorian murmered, using her eyes to express her need to talk to the Headmaster alone, and later.

"If not what?" asked Sirius, unable to restrain himself. "Sir," he added quickly, hoping to not appear flippant. Remus kicked him, and Sirius winced slightly.

Gwin couldn't help but snigger. James shot her a sharp look. She merely raised her eyebrows before turning back to the Headmaster. [Am I still playing James?]
"If not, Mr. Black," Ablus said clearly, "then- Well, things haven't gone according to plan." After a moment, he spoke up again, "Not mine, I assure you. Both the Rogues and the Marauders keep me and all the staff on our toes..." He shook his head a little, "You never fail to amuse." he said under his breath, though lightly.
"I do not know what is held for you all in the future," Albus spoke in normal volume again, "But whatever has it's interest in you, will continue to persue each one of you." He looked slowly to each face in the room.

Sirius sighed heavily, and shot Gwin a look that said, 'Why can't we all pretend to be friends?' Remus, as might be expected, was more passive, but privately thought the same thing. Well, minus the pretending.

Leah smothered a laugh at the thought of 'Bonding' with the Marauders. The thought! But then the Headmaster's other words penetrated her thoughts. "Wait, something is stalking all of us?" She asked, a bit startled.

Albus glanced around sceptically. "Not that I know of..." he said quietly. He shrugged, and smiled to Kael and Andromeda.
Andromeda had a slight smirk on her face, watching Sirius. She looked at Kael and smiled, running her fingers through her blond-ish [/?] hair.
Kael looked questioningly at the Headmaster, then around to the two groups. It [bonding] worked for us... He mentally shrugged.
Gwin caught Sirius' glance, and her eyebrows furrowed, feeling that un-wanted WHOOSH! in her stomach again. She put an arm over her stomach in a very Nadia-ish way. She glanced away to Lorian, who looked as if she were going to be sick.

Gwin, as expected, looked away and made a very prissy face. Fine. "So if it continues to...persue us," said Sirius, running a hand through his messy hair. "Are we going to be stuck together for things like the maze again?"

Kailyn shook her head wearily, suddenly hit by a wave of tiredness. It had been a long day, with bursts of adrenaline, excitement, disappointments, you name it, and she probably had homework. Perhaps they should wrap this up...
"What does it matter, Black? We didn't have much of a choice today, and I don't think we have much of a say in any future happenings, so why not let things happen as they will?" She demanded quietly. "I don't know about you all, but I've had a tiring first day and would like to finish it as soon as possible." She added somewhat testily, after a moment.
Leah was still startled, no longer by the idea of a stalker, but by her sister- Gwin was not acting quite herself. A niggling suspicion was taking shape in her mind, and she definately didn't like it....
Severus completely agreed with going back to their common rooms. In fact, he had been debating whether or not to just leave, since noone was paying him any atention anyway. Not that unattention was a bad thing- It was actaully a pretty nice thing, since he wanted to think over the days events before he gave much of an opinion. He glanced around the room; Rockelle was occupied with Fawkes, Lorien looked sick, which was curious, Gwin was still scruffy and acting wierd, Leah looked startled and quite paranoid, the Marauders all looked digruntled, except for Remus, who was still a bit pale, and Keal and Andromeda were... themselves, as was the Headmaster. Severus's mouth unconciously curved slightly down into its usual position. Pensive Severus.... <3
