I'm, uh, I'm Alexandromeda... I was, well, I was "invited" here a while back... and I'm finally here.
*looks between the others, and at the book in Itatsume's hands*

Well... I'm not quite sure. All my father ever told me was that he "found it" somewhere. I was never told where, though...
...
Waittaminute.
*reaches into a pocket, and pulls out a large, old, worn sheet of paper*
There was this... It's the notes my father made when translating what little he could... The more faded notes are before he summoned the dragons... and the others are from when he sealed them into the book.
...
And, well... that last note, in the bottom corner... It's what he believes to be the symbol on the cover of the book...
"Trials"
...
It is... difficult to explain much of it, of how we managed to translate portions of it... All I can assume is that he had something to base it off of... Something... where he found the book.
*looks at the book*
Hold on. Itatsume, may I have a look at the book again for a moment? Don't close it, let me see that page you have opened there...

"Hey Iak?" Calms down and stares out the window. "You know the woods back behind my house?..." Turns back around and looks at the book from where she stands. "The cavern behind the waterfall... The stone stairs lead to ancient ruins... i'm getting a feeling that place and the book has a connection... Plus that book smells like cold ice and stone just like the ruins..."

((OOC: No, basically, it's more or less supposed to be some sort of ancient, obsolete language. Like the Egyptian heiroglyphs, except a *lot* more open to interpretation. Long story short, assume everything that *has* been translated thus far to at least be *mostly* correct.))

So, umm... You're Iak?
{Hm... I'm sure I've heard that name before...}
((OOC: BTW, I just realised I forgot to mention it in that last post, leave the book. Let's just say that some of it *will* be translated in your absense. And I think Iak's regained enough chakra to at least be able to contain "them" within the book.
Oh, and to anyone reading who hasn't figured it out yet, I'm also Iak.))

What he meant is that, since he is in no condition to help at the moment, of anyone he could summon to help, I'm really the only one capable of doing anything useful... I mean, Pansy is cute and all, but not much of a fighter yet. Dionaea's really just an overgrown kitten. And Daisy and Lilly, well... They're useful enough, but only if you can get past their constant bickering.
*yawns slightly*
Enough of that. If we're gonna go, let's go. Sooner the better.
Er, and Itatsume, if you don't mind, I'd still like to hold onto the book while you guys are gone...

The kids, well... You know them. They know each other. They can keep each other safe, don't you worry.

Honestly, considering the friction between you two because of, well, recent events... He wants someone there who he can trust *completely*. Someone who trusts him. Someone who has been with him long enough to know what, exactly, any of this could actually mean for him.
