Jeff cringed even more. He had ******** everything up yet again. "I'm...sorry for interrogating you...and I'm sorry for being an a** in general..." He was having a hard time keeping his eyes from welling up with tears.

"Thank you Jeff."Holly pushed her way into the house. "Now I'm taking Kyle with me upstairs, so I would appreciate if you two stayed down here for awhile." She didn't even wait for an answer before dragging Kyle off.

Jeff felt more and more like the nasty thing on the underside of someones shoe. He almost didn't want to go find Yakov. He was having scary parallel emotions to what happened over break. He shut the front door and made it as far as the living room before he couldn't stand it anymore. He just fell into the couch and laid there.

Kyle let Holly drag him upstairs, but once he was in her room he spoke, "Wasn't that a little harsh?"

Yakov came out the kitchen with two drinks in hand. Two drinks he forgot about immediately when he saw Jeff. He set them down and ran to the couch. "Jeff, gorgeous, what the hell did they do to you?"

Holly shrugged. "Yes it was. So, I know there's furniture everywhere, but I'm pretty sure there's some floor space back here." She stepped around some boxes. "Yup."

Yakov crawled on top of Jeff and looked him straight in the eye. "One, I'm a little sore not in pain, and sore is nothing new for us. Two, I appreciate you being upset about this, but it really is okay."
