Getting closer to his house Hasses could see his mom in the kitchen cooking and not seeming overly concerned. So he let out a sigh and slowed down a bit, no need to hurry if everything was fine with her...It did bother him though that she was always so worried.
"Akina...you most likely know this but my mom worries alot...and she is going to worry about you to most likely...dont try and fight it just let her to do her thing....makes it go by much faster..."

This was going to be odd for her.
"Hm. I don't know if I can handle it truthfully... but I'll be polite."
Slowly, she continued walking, looking down.

Sighing, Akina tried hard to remember what her own mom expected of her, so that she would be able to try her hardest to make Hasses' mom happy. So, going over and washing her hands, she looked over to the currently at ease woman.
"Where can I help?"

Looking at Akina, Hasses's mother looked shocked at teh offer to help. not being used to anyone helping her cook.
"well i just finished most of everything that needs doing. now just need to let it all cook...but if you do want you can help with dishes afterward...but for right now just relax, no need to try to hard since you just got here and im sure you want to get settled in"

Giving her a nod, she just left the room, not knowing what to say. She WOULD help with the dishes that night, so she wouldn't be considered a nuisance and would be a help in the home. So, for now she went up to Hasses' room, setting her books in one corner, and putting her clothes in the closet, before settling down on her bed to read a book.

Hasses walked to the living room trying to figure out how he was suppose to get all his stuff in order...his mom had thrown everyhting in a big pile...
But in a few minutes he had everyhting he would need out to where he could get it, and had a blanket and pillows. which he just used the blanket to cover his stuff for now, especialy since the senseis would be there for dinner. He didnt want all his stuff out in the way.
Then after a bit he got up wandered back to his old room and Akin's new one.
"So settling nicely? not to bad is it..."

Shifting, Akina looked up at him, gently setting down her book.
"Yes... it's a lot bigger then my room. Come here a moment."
Deciding to show him a little bit of history, Akina moved over so he could sit next to her, opening her book again.

Hasses walked over sitting down by Akina and looked at the book.

The writing was old, neatly written. Akina continued to look down at the book, while pointing out the dates.
"See this? This book was made __ years ago, back before Orochimaru left our village. Although this journal was written from a civilian in the market, it holds a lot of valuable information... Such as this."
Pointing at one line in particular, she read it out loud.
"Today, an ANBU team went through the marketplace with a small girl, who if I remember correctly was Orochimaru's student. By the looks of it, something is very wrong, especially with her sensei no where in sight."
Looking up at him, she wondered if he was following along.
"That means that on this day, Orochimaru was discovered for what he was really doing."

"How exactly did you get ahold of something like this?"

"Iruka, the Hokage... They both bring me anything they find that I would find useful. Mostly the Hokage, since I won't accept any other help other then this... In fact, I have a couple of books of his too, that he allowed me to copy a while ago."
Scanning over the page, she sighed.
Perhaps this is why she was cursed.

Hasses looked back to the book then over to the other books, thikning about what kind of information she really had just in those books.
"You must do alot of reading into things like this, especialy if the hokage is helping get you information."

"Unfortunately, I probably know about the same amount of information as the Hokage... I've read all of these journals NUMEROUS times... but I still read over them... just in case I can learn more."
