They probably shouldn't nap out on the balcony but it couldn't hurt that bad. Aside from the chairs not being any better to sleep in than a couch.

Kaleb was comfortable for a few minutes, until the sun did get hidden behind some thick clouds. He pulled the sweater tighter around himself and tucked his legs closer to his body. Even after all their joking, he was hesitant to admit he was starting to get cold.

He'd closed his eyes so he didn't noticed Kaleb moving or getting cold. He was pretty comfortable all things considered.

With a bit of a shiver, Kaleb curled up into a little ball inside the oversized hoodie. He was able to stay like that and enjoy the fresh air for a few more minutes before the shivering came back and made him uncomfortable. He poked more of his nose out from under the hood. "Riley, I-I think I'm a little cold..."

He opened his eyes and looked at Kaleb. "Ya wanna go inside?" Kaleb hadn't asked to come sit with him so he'd just ignore that little part for now.

Kaleb should have expected the question and been prepared to answer it, but he liked being outside even if it was a bit cold. "I-I don't know," he said, curling up a bit more as he tried to decide if it was worth his pride to stay outside longer.

"If ya stay out here too long i'm not gonna carry an ice cube back inside." He snickered slightly. Kaleb just needed to ask for one of the two options and he'd do what he wanted.

Kaleb fidgeted and fussed with the long sleeves of the hoodie. Riley probably wouldn't want him climbing into his sweater or sitting in his lap if he was an icecube, and it wasn't hard to remember Reno's reaction to having a frozen little body pressed up against him. "Can I sit with you?" the mage finally asked, peering out from under the hood with a timidly hopeful expression.

Kaleb got up and made the short, limped trip over to Riley's chair, but he hesitated before sitting down. "H-how do you want me to sit?" he asked in a nervous voice. He didn't want to make Riley uncomfortable, but his feet were getting cold standing on the balcony. Hopefully they weren't completely freezing yet, he wouldn't want to be dumped out of the chair for having cold feet.

"Jus sit down. If ya do it wrong i'll move ya." He didn't want Kaleb's cold feet on him too long so the faster he was off the stone balcony the better.

He sat down sideways across Riley's lap, and tucked his legs up beside him where he could pull the sweater to cover his feet again. Then he snuggled up against his partner's chest, trying to get some warmth from him.

He wrapped an arm around Kaleb and leaned back in the chair. Idly he wondered why Kaleb hadn't just channeled some magic to make him warmer. That seemed like a pretty easy option.

Kaleb sighed and relaxed. "Thanks, for letting me sit with you," he said quietly, now back to hiding under the hood of the sweater.

"No prob." He shrugged slightly. It wasn't a big deal to him since it just meant that he was warmer too.
