Lintana looked out after the two and smiled sadly. She quickly finished her records and shouted out after them, "Go check with the herdsman and the rest of the weyr, I have to pamper Saterth!"
She quickly left the room and had to keep herself from running to Saterth. Once she got to her own weyr she tossed the records to the side and threw herself at Saterth. Saterth crooned softly and put her head next to Lintana who was now doing her best from crying.

N'lor woke up in a bed that wasn't his. He looked around and noticed he was in the medical hall. He probed for Kernth, when he found him he was very worried yet smug.
I outflew almost all the bronzes, all except Vratoth. Are you ok now?

Eisel snuck a glance at Z'Arian as he talked to his bronze. Umbrielth picked up her train of thought and rumbled in amusement. She, however, appeared to be just as infatuated with Vrätoth. She crooned and flicked her tail so it just brushed the bronze's haunch, her eyes swirling a contented blue. Eisel hid a giggle in the warm scent of Umbrielth's hide. She slid down from her queen's neck and sat on the gilded back, studying Z'Arian bemusedly.

Z'Arian started messing with Vrätoth. It had been a long time since they were able to wrestle, but he still did his best. Vrätoth jumped slightly at the touch of the queen. From that, the dragon had lost all interest in roughing with his rider and started crooning to the queen. Z'Arian laughed a bit and then noticed Eisel watching him. He gave her a big grin and a small salute with two fingers.

Why do you worry so? They have never been late for my flight. I would not let any such dragon fly me. Saterth looked at Lintana almost puzzledly.
"But they are gone Saterth. They flew between and I can no longer feel or hear them!" Lintana sifled a sob.

N'lor laughed at his dragons response. You are truely going to get us into a bunch of trouble!

Doing her best to stifle a laugh, Eisel smiled and blew him a kiss. Being close to Umbrielth made her a little more daring and it was easier to stop thinking so hard and just go with it. Just a TAD bit more confident, Umbrielth inquired with mock incredulity. You're not one to talk, Eisel shot back, swatting Umbrielth's rump lightly as the queen flirted with her mate.

Z'Arian made a catching motion and started pestering Vrätoth. DOn't have too much fun. he noted when he saw a glisten in the bronze's eyes. They were both going to have to get used to the new setting, but as far as he could tell, the dragons were having no problem at all. He hoped that all would go well with Eisel, and so far, it had. He turned on the bronze dragon and drew his sword playfully, hoping to catch his attention. The bronze caught the blade with a talon and swished it to the side, knocking it out of his hand. At this, Z'Arian plopped to the ground and laughed.

Eisel's eyes opened wide at the flash of metal, and she slid off Umbrielth's back to her feet, mostly because she was surprised. Umbrielth startled slightly, but was put at ease by Vrätoth's unconcerned manner of disaposing of the weapon. Eisel relaxed and smiled, walking over to crouch by the sword. She touched the pommel lightly with one finger and frowned, looking the blade over. She knew next to nothing about swords.

I promise J'rel will be back. He will still be flying Tarketh. You will see. Now you should be getting to work. Saterth nudged her rider gently.
Lintana quickly brought herself together. She was not used to wheeping but found it easy to control. SHhe straighted up, no use argueing with a dragon. She felt for the two new weyrmates and laughed.
Tell your riders to get to work! Lintana said to their two dragons. She pulled out some of her numbweed and headed down to the medical hall.

"You can pick it up if you want. I made that one." That was one of his favorite creations, and the only one he's kept. "It's clean blade, no blood has been spilled at the edge of it. Mostly Vrätoth and I dual, it's seen no combat but his talons." He laughed a bit.

Eisel glanced at Z'Arian and wrapped her hands around the hilt, lifting it unsteadily. It was heavy, too heavy for her to really do much more than get the tip off the ground. She put it back down gently, looking at Z'Arian again and trying to imagine how strong he really was. She frowned as Umbrielth clued her in on Lintana's amused orders. "Ugh," she quipped in response, digging a leather cord out of her boot and using it to tie her hair back out of the way for her trip to the herdsman. They were invariably goodnatured but rather fond of skipping showers.

Z'Arian got the note as well, stood, and bent over to grab the sword which he he swung gracefully into the leather sheath. He patted Vrätoth gently and started walking away, but hesitated, making sure Eisel was coming too.

Lintana reached the medical hall and entered quietly. A few of the weyrfolk greeted her, most just nodded, used to her as a visiter. She made it down to N'lor's room and entered in good spirits.
"Good morning my young friend."

N'lor looked surprised to be visited by the head weyrwoman.
"Uh...hello...."

Eisel planted a kiss on the end of Umbrielth's elegant nose and hurried to catch up to Z'Arian. She smiled at him and matched her step to his. "I'll come with you to the Dining Hall before I go see the Herdsman," she remarked cheerily. "I want to see your speech," she added with a teasing grin.

He scratched the back of his head with his right hand. "Ha...right. We'll see how that goes." He looked at her with a smile. "It'll probably be short and to the point. I'm terrible at speeches."

Eisel shrugged as they approached the tall stone arch that led to the Dining Hall. "I'm sure whatever you say will be fine. None of them are in any position to argue, what with all the other bronzes plus a rogue brown having been squarely beaten yesterday." She grinned again and gave him a little push in the back toward the many tables sprawled all over the big room.
