"HAAAA!!!" Rain held out his hands, and made a wall that was at first invisible, but then caught fire with demon energy. "DANARA!" He shouted, making his breath catch fire and burst straight toward the beast. Rain then looked at Sii. "Go ahead and distract him! I'll get close!" He shouted with his mind

"Sounds good!" Siirioc said. Then he began slowly spinning, dragging his giant wooden cross through the sand. Soon he used his telekinesis to accelerate until he was spinning like a twister, then released the cross which flew at the Servant. Siirioc, wasting no time, leaped into the air with unmatched alacrity, landing on the cross and grabbing onto it as they collided into a thick column of sand that formed right in front of his target. "Oooph!" he cried out as he was muffled by the grainy stuff.
As this happened, the hungry flames reached the Servant, and he panicked as the giant cross flew towards him, and defended himself from that and forsook the flames. He quickly regretted this action as they engulfed him, burning his tainted flesh. "AAAAAAAGGH! Demon magic! DEEEMONS! I will see to your deaths, little ones!" he said, whipping around desperately, then suffocating the flames by sinking into the sand. But the group didn't even have enough time to catch their breath before a plethora of arms burst from the sand, trying to grapple any nearby.
Siirioc recovered just in time to leap away from the hand as it engulfed the spot right where he was. "Ah! The cross!" he whimpered as it was swallowed. The arm raised strait into the air, re-forming into a hand, now clutching the cross, which it quickly swung at Rain, handling it as if it were a dagger.

With a heavy thrust from his arm, which began to blaze and form into a flaming claw, Rain grabbed onto the servant's cross arm with his Demon Arm, one that did a good amount of heat damage, and made his grip even stronger! Rain squeezed with all of his might.

Feeling useless as she watched Raine and Siirioc fight, Kampur did her best to keep out of the way; both of the sand like hands and the two natives. Seeing that things seemed to keep getting worse, Kampur felt like she was left with little other choice. Using Siiriooc's sword, she channeled her energy into the ground, hoping it wouldn't turn into a massive volcano. A white aura surrounded her, followed by a bright flash of light. Theire surroundings had changed, possibly for the better. Anything that had once been sand had fused together and turned into glass. The dunes, the arms, even any sand that had gotten into their clothing or bags was now smooth, clear glass.
Kampur let out a sigh-rejoiced she hadn't killed anyone-before falling down onto the glass; completely exhausted but concious.

Good Gods! What happened?! I can't move! GLASS?! I can't manipulate it yet...NO! the Servant of the Sand desperately thought as he was trapped underground. He was rapidly running out of air, and couldn't hold his breath much longer. Doomed to die, he valiantly tried to bend the glass around him, both with raw strength and his powers, but to no effect.
Back on the surface, Siirioc was staring squarely at Kampur. "What...what did you just DO?! HOW did you do that?!" he nearly yelled, clutching his head. He strapped the cross back onto his back, taking his gaze away from Kampur as he tried to calm down. "Regardless of how you did it, we should probably get out of here. This will definitely be noticed, and I don't want to be around when some angry Servants of the Sand come a-knocking..." he half-whined, feeling paranoid.

"Well..." Kampur winced as Siirioc practicly screamed his questions-or so it seemed to her. "It's kinda hard to explain..." she paused again, hoping maybe his questions were rhetorical. "It should disappear soon." she said, pointing to the sheet of glass they all stood on hoping that it would be good news. Already the tops of the dunes had slowly begun to turn back into sand; a few grains at a time. "Where are we going to go?" she asked as she forced herself to stand up, her weakened body struggling to support her.

"Deinoforaum is just a few more hours away, lets hurry. Our water's only going to last us a few more days." Rain said. Then he walked off of the glass and back onto the sandy dunes. "I suppose demon fire could do this to Sand servants, could it not?" He looked over at Siirioc.

"Apparently. I'm not very familiar with Servants of the Sand. I just know they manipulate the environment...and are usually hostile..." Siirioc responded. He marched on, doing his best to ignore the sand around him. Sand all around him, Siirioc mumbled angrily. "What is Deinoforaum like, anyway?" Siirioc asked, trying to keep his mind off the long walk.

Rain looked somewhat hesitant, the question struck him, and it almost seemed to startle him. "Well..." He said, then looked toward Kampur. "I use to love that place. All of my memories lie in that town. It's like any other city I guess, and..." He said... then looked over the next dune... "We're...." Tears began to well up in his eyes, and his breath was somewhat fast. It was destroyed. All of the buildings were at least half their size, and wrecked completely, dust and sand flowed through all of the buildings freely, and any carts that were in the streets were up-side-down, and any bones they saw were in very small piles, but it was obvious that it was the skeletons of people. "My Danara...." He said under his breath. All of his childhood memories seemed to shatter in that moment, all of the people he knew and the people he loved were truly lost. There was definitely no one left alive in such a place.

Kampur pulled the blade out of the glass and followed Raine and Siirioc, slowly regaining the energy she had lost earlier. As Raine answered Siirioc's question about Deinoforaum, her mind began to wonder back to her own home. It felt like she hadn't been there for ages. It was probably true. As the city came into sight, a chill ran up and down Kampur's spine. Aside from the sand being blown about, everything was still, quiet...dead. SHe walked up to Raine and put her hand on his shoulder. She didn't know how the relationships in families were on this planet, but it seemed to be quite strong.

Siirioc walked alongside Rain, listening to him as he spoke. But as they came upon the ruins of Deinoforaum, his attention turned completely towards the wreckage, his mouth hanging open. "What...what could have done this?! Not even a Slavering Mauler could do all of this!" he said loudly. He walked ahead a bit, taking in the once-glorious sights. Then he turned back to Rain, sadness in his eyes, and he said nothing further. Soon he turned away again, bowing his head low. "Let's...find out what happened..." he managed to squeeze out.
