Lock smiled. "Not at all." He pat the feline's head lightly. "Just one thing, Persians are very....bi-polar-ish pokemon. He can turn on you on the snap of a finger..so..if he does...just pull on his whiskers, that'll calm him down"
Faraon gave a glare towards the healer before rising to his feet. He liked to think that he was different from the rest of his breed.

Kira smiled brightly. "Oh, I know that from first hand. My cousin came for a visit with her Persian, and it didn't like me very much. It would come up for attention, the bite my hand."
Looking to Faraon she gave a nervous laugh. "I'm actually very surprised that Faraon like me enough to tolerate me. I thought maybe all Persians hated me..."

Lock laughed. "Oh, you can count the scars on me, half of them are from this guy." He smiled. "Faraon tolerates anyone....His pretty mellow but..his temper goes off every once in a while. Myabe he's just one of a kind..."
Faraon grinned, purrrig.
"Yeah...you like to think that, don't you. You overgrown house cat..."

Kira giggled a little. "Well, if Faraon likes me, I certainly don't mind having him around. He's beautiful, and his coat has a really healthy shine to it." Gently, she scratched Faraon under his chin. "Maybe while we're out, I'll find some yummy berries for you!"
Looking up at Lock, she smiled apologetically. "Would you mind watching the other two as they slept? Katie will listen to you if you get into trouble. Fuyuki... I'm not so sure about...."

Faraon smiled as he nuzzled his head against Kira's leg gently, purrring softly.
Lock smiled and nodded slowly. "No problem. I think Fuyuki will be alright, I wouldn't worry. If Faraon can protect himself out here, any pokemon his size can do the same."

Kira laughed nervously. "I meant the 'listening to you' part. I know Fuyuki can take care of himself, but if it comes down to a battle, I'm not sure if he'll listen to you or not."
Looking down to Faraon, she smiled and happily gave the large cat more attention. "You really are a big lovable lug, aren't you?"

Faraon chuffed* and walked slightly away, feeling a bit overhelm by the attention so early in the morning.
Lock chuckled. "As I said, I think even if it came to that, Fuyuki could beat the other pokemon without much problem and without me needing to tell him what to do. So go on on your hike, I promise we will all be in one piece when you come back"
(*Chuffing is the action of puffing air out of the nose done by large cats, its a show of affection.)

Kira smiled and followed after Faraon, giggling. "We're going to have so much fun!"
Fuyuki had awakened again as Kira left and he let out a rather unhappy growl; he did not like the idea that she was going out alone into the 'unknown'. He then cast a glance to Lock, wondering why the bloody hell the man had let them leave.

Faraon walked ahead a bit, but then waited for Kira, looking up at her as if waiting to know what they were doing.
Lock just kept working on his notes, somewhat drawing Fuyuki and Katie. The man raised an eyebrow at the legendary's glance. "She's with Faraon...She'll be alright as we will. Faraon might be blind, but he can scare away pokemon three times his size for just being a persian." He spoke softly as he kept drawing.

Kira giggled and twirled a strand of hair, looking around where they were. "Hey Faraon, think you can sniff our some berries? Or maybe there's a Pidgy nest somewhere that we swipe eggs from and fry up! Wouldn't that taste good?"
Fuyuki did nothing for a few minutes, then let out what could have been a sigh and shook his head. Getting to his paws, he walked over to see what Lock was doing.

Faraon smiled and started to sniff around as he moved forward before trotting to something. He was used to tracking down herbs, not berries, but it couldn't be any different. After a while he came across a bush of berries and purrred towards Kira.
Lock looked at Fuyuki and smiled. "You are a bit of challenge to draw"

"Wow Faraon, you're amazing!" Kira smiled and knelt next to Faraon in front of the berry bush. She smiled and gentlly scratched him behind the ears and under the chin. "I think this is the fastest I've ever found berries! Go ahead and eat what you want while I collect the rest for Lock, Katie and Fuyuki." She pulled out a small cloth bag from her backpack and began collecting the berries.
Fuyuki snorted in a way that could have been taken as being proud of being such a challenge, then stood and became still, almost as if he was posing for him. He locked eyes with Lock and something in the look read 'I'm doing this because I want to not because I have to'.

Faraon purrrred softly and picked a berry into his jaws and started eating, thought once he swallow, he made it towards a nearby tree. The berries had actually been found by accident, when he smelled them, he decided to go for them. What he had actually picked up was the scent of a pidgeotto.
Climbing up the tree slowly and onto the branches, he sniffed higher until his muzzle bumped into a nest. He 'looked' around before stucking his head in, his nose touching the unbroken shells of eggs. He made a soft sound towards Kira.

Lock tilted his head as the pokemon posed for him. "Amezing, such grace and beaty, but I am sorry. I can't draw you if you are posing...its...so unnatural...." He mumbled gently towards him.

Kira blinked, looking up from the berry bush at Faraon, who was now above her in a tree. "Oh, did you find something else?" Her green eyes fell on the brown twigs that were bundled together near the Persian. "Oh! Protein!" She quickly put the berries down and ran to a position under the tree branch. "Here, knock them of and I'll catch them; they aren't that high up."
Fuyuki snorted, rolled his eyes, then got up and nudged Katie awake. The little Pashirisu let out a soft squeaking sound and gave a big yawn. She then proceeded to clean her face and tail.

Faraon gave her a funny look, she was lucky he wasn't completly blind and detected movement somewhat, he nuzzled against th nest gently, pulling it lose before knocking it over.
Lock just smiled as Fuyuki walked away to Katie and resume his sketching.
