What is torrent?

well, lets say you have a tv series you want to download.

if it's a torrent, the file can be broken into different pieces.

then in a bit torrent, you can download lots of little pieces from lots of people all at the same time.

It's like trading pieces too because you also upload at the same time.

and you keep sharing pieces until you get all the pieces and put it all together

then you can start watching your tv series

not all torrents are legal though. such as movies, but so many people do illegal downloading.
