Kana sighed in relief. As she walked in the front doors a nurse told her to turn off her phone and she rolled her eyes. "Where is Alexa -Insert Last Name Here-?"

"If you go to the front desk they can tell you, but I'm going to have to ask you to hang up your phone."

"Ok, ask away. It won't change anything." Kana said over her shoulder as she went to the front desk.

Alexa could hear through the phone and said, "I'll see ya soon. Please don't
bother the nurses too harshly." she then hung up on Kana.

Kana tapped her foot impatiently as she hung up the phone and waited for the nurse to stop typing. After three minutes she leaned way over the edge of the counter so she could see the monitor. "You didn't spell influenza correctly."

"Pardon me, but that's incredibly rude."

"No, this is rude." Kana said, hitting the escape key and glaring at the nurse. "Where is Alexa Rodriguez?"

It only took a few more minutes for the nurse to tell her and Kana was leaving to find it.

Alexa closed her eyes a bit and then she opened them fully again. She lifted
her hand to her head and felt something that was out of place. She pulled her
hand away and looked at it. There was dried blood on her hand and she could
feel her pulse quicken. "Blood...." she whispered as she stared at it. "There's
blood....on my....hand...." She had a huge fear of blood.

Erin walked over to Alexa and tried to wipe the blood away before Alexa's
state got worse, but it was too late. Alexa's pulse was quickening and then,
in the moment Erin had stepped over next to Alexa's bed, Alexa shrieked.

Erin cleaned the blood up and ran her hand through Alexa's hair. "Alexa, it's
okay honey." she said in a soothing voice.

Alexa couldn't hear anyone. She could just see the blood that wasn't on her
hand any longer. She had stopped her shrieking but she couldn't stop staring
and muttering, "Blood....so much....blood....." She hadn't told anyone but
Serinity and Kana why she was afraid of blood. The traumatizing event that
caused her to fear it, her own Father's death....and her witnessing it.

Kana froze in the doorway for a second as she took in the scene. She went over to Alexa's bed and grabbed her hand so she would stop looking at it. "Aelxa? There's not blood, Alexa, see?" Kana ran her hand over Alexa's head and showed it to her, blood free. "It's gone, you're ok."

Alexa calmed down and returned to the present. She looked up at Kana, saw
the fear on her face, and hugged her as she cried. "I'm sorry." she whispered,
her face turning a bit red from embarrassment. "I'm so sorry."

Erin looked at Alexa and Kana and led Ricardo out of the room. She then said
to him. "I think they need their time alone." Just like i need to get a grip.

Kana nodded, pulling herself away and looking Alexa up and down a few times before sinking into a chair right next to the bed. "What happened? I hate hospitals..."

"I don't remember." Alexa told her kindly, trying to get rid of her tears. "I
was driving home from your place, it was raining, and then i woke up here. I
can't remember anything else."

Dale just laid there right underneath Matt. He made no moves just sat there. It felt wonderful to have Matt's body weight on top of him. As soon as he heard att say sorry he could think before he said the words slipped out, "That's alright Matt It feels kinda good." Dale smiled up at him.

Devante smiled and kissed Mason's neck and then his lips. He still couldn't believe that he was going to be married to this man. Mason was a pup compared to Devante but when Devante was with it didn't seem to matter that he was young all that mattered was that Mason was in his arms. But he'd never dream of telling Mason that. "Sure," He said and straddled Mason on the bed.

Charlie just smiled and they danced somemore. Life was good and Charlie wished it would just stay this way forever.

Ricardo paced back and forth outside of Alexa's room. How could things get any worse. Alexa was like his other daughter besides Serinity. HE'd watched the two grow up together. Watched them become smart beautiful young women. All he wanted right now was to trade spots with Alexa. He'd lived his life but it seemed wrong that Alexa should be deprived of the best years in her life. He would have definatly traded places in a heart beat for her.

((No kidding. But, hun, Matt got up and sat by Dale. He's like sooooooooooo
embarrassed at the moment.))

Mason felt like a livewire. He was completely glad that he had Devante and
loved to just be there in his arms. That was all that mattered to him, was that
Devante was happy because when he was happy Mason was happy. "You
are so gonna be defeated this time." he said jokingly. He knew he had no
chance of winning against Devante.

Serinity smiled as she danced. She laughed and smiled and twirled about. She
felt so happy as the rain came down on them.

Matt looked down at Dale in astonishment. "You're not mad?" he asked feeling
like pounding his head in a wall or something. I went too far. he thought
as he sighed. He pulled Dale into a hug and ran a hand through his hair. "I
wish you were mad at me. I was being stupid, and you're just way too kind
to me when i am being stupid." he told him as he kept Dale in the hug.
"Please, don't say it's fine. It was wrong. And we both know that."

Erin hugged Ricardo and said, "Calm down. She's with Kana right now and the
doctor seemed nice. She's gonna be fine." She kissed his lips lightly to get
him to pay attention. "Trust me. She's gonna be fine."

It took a minute for Alexa's words to sink in, but as soon as they did Kana was out of her seat. "I, uh..." She tried to think of a logical excuse to leave, but there were none. "Later." She said, walking out of the door, pausing only for a second to look at the other two before heading for the front doors.
