Maya chuckled as Dreaga fussed like a child, she'd finish removing her clothes and helped her sister into the large tub which smelled of lavender and vanilla. She'd grab a small towel and started to rub down her back. "I am sure Kain will destroy Panderas for what he has done to you." She'd kiss her forehead, and continue to wash her back.

Nimm had moved to walk around outside by herself. She was bear foot, so the trail of dead and dried up grass was a good enough clue to anyone if they wanted to follow her. She stretched her arms up, taking a deep breath of the air. It was different somehow. It felt odd too, sort of uncomfortable, or tinged with something she wasn't familiar with. A few tremors in the ground were what caught her attention most. She never remembered an earth quake occurring since she'd been around.

"Somethin' big's happening and Kain and I aren't to blame? Well now that is strange." He'd laugh a bit as he made his way behind her. He'd take note of her entire form and the area about them, as well as the two currently having bath time like children. He hardly felt they were a threat given his current intentions, but one never knew. Nevertheless, he'd summon one of his scythes and sigh.
"Look, Nimm...it's not like I'm no thankful you brought me back. In essence, you made me who and what I am, and for that I can never repay you! But at the same time..." He'd take a quick, violet slash at her torso by all means trying to kill her. "You're someone else with the power of Death, and I just cant have that!"

She'd listen as he spoke, not turning to look at him just yet. She nodded, still looking toward the city. She heard him sigh however and turned to see teh reason why. A moment later she flipped back, avoiding the scythe that managed to catch her coat. The torn piece fell to the ground quietly as Nimm stood to stare at Singe. Mercury eyes studied him a moment, not afraid still, just confused.
"I make people sick, not kill them." She corrected, moving to fold her hands behind her back. A faint smile creased her lips for a moment. "I find it odd that the first time I met you, I was scared, and you were just being friendly. Your trying to kill me now, and I feel rather calm." Apparently her confusion wasn't about why he was trying to kill her. A moment later she shrugged. "Guess I should of expected this then." she smiled now and slid her foot back. "This probably won't last long, but you realize it wouldn't be fair to make this easy for you."

"Easy for me? What are you going to do, make me sick!?" He'd look to his empty left hand and flex his fingers a few times. "If there's a thing in this world that you can do to make it hard on me, then feel free. Here I am trying to give you a clean, painless death out of mercy and yet I feel as if I've been spit upon!" He'd sigh and place his left hand to his forehead while creating the simplistic but deadly symbol around himself.
"You're an infection upon humanity and an infection upon the creatures this planet creates; what you touch loses the ability TO live. You're sick, cruel, sadistic...a monster! You force them to suffer; are you leaving them for me to reap!? Are you too scared to finish your own job?" He'd toss the scythe aside and rip his palm open, allowing his blood which still had her own in it to keep him alive to spill onto the circle, lighting it up.
"Run to the other side of the planet. switch dimensions; enter another world! Kain did and I caught him now didn't I!? It's strange, though...a part of me feels sorry for you and begs for me not to do this and yet I find myself trying to strangle that part to silence it...tell me, Nimm: What are you thinking?"

"I think your wasting time." she said simply, gesturing toward what he was doing. "Your faster then me Singe. There is no real reason for you to use Jashin to kill me." She held her hand out and let her flame spark to life. It grew and spun two lengths together till it was a basic bo staff length, then solidified.
She moved and held it with both hands, before smudging the circle under him, the color of her flame adding to the circle. "You're an infection upon humanity and an infection upon the creatures this planet creates; what you touch loses the ability to live. You're sick, cruel, sadistic...a monster!" she repeated. "You realize those are all words I've heard before right? It's nothing new to me, neither is the promise you're trying to break." She walked around, redesigning the circle as she went. Once back to the spot she had started from she took a few steps back. She hadn't leafed through the grimoire without learning anything. The circle was void to her now. "My turn to ask a question. "What spurred this? I don't think this has anything to so with you not eating recently, but then again, I wouldn't know."

"Jashin is all-powerful...the circle need not be there so long as I have the blood...so long as I sew the blood unto myself as I did with Alexis." He'd trace the symbol on his chest, another portion of the four-piece marking now full of color, violet in this case. He'd laugh a bit and shove his claw deep into it, hoping so much that somewhere dear Alexis could feel the sweet pain. "The book explains the creation...I've taken it further, as I do with everything else I touch! Like your power! That...is what makes me a God! I emphasize on all in the name of Death; Jashin! I am Death; I am the Scythe!"
He'd sigh a bit and call forth his battalion of scythes once again, as he'd done with Alexis. Scythes ranging form enormous to small, from simple like a farmer's sickle to beyond merely decorative. Different metals, different features. "What brought this about...was a simple revelation! You see, there's no doubt I am to act as Death and as I told Alexis, dear little Chaos, there can be NO OTHER SUBSTITUTE! Those vying for my power...like you! You leave them on the brink of death for ME to clean up! You're an incomplete product...the planet's version of ME! And I can't have that." He'd grin and send the battalion of spinning scythes at her while turning form her to look around.
"Your parents...how I loathe them; how I detest those that brought such dread into this world!" He'd place his hand against his forehead and laugh while his shoulder blades would begin to bleed. "You're a product of a sick planet, Nimm...whereas I am a product of the universe; the answer to those like Kain...and you. But first I must punish those that brought such a mockery into the world." Bat-like wings would rip from his back, each tip of the veined wings ending with a talon and a floating orb, six total to represent the elements. "You can die here as you're meant to and repent for your crimes upon this planet and its people...or continue to run while I break your chains."

"Thou art slave to Fate, Chance, kings, and desperate men, and dost with poison, war, and sickness dwell." Nimm quoted, She dropped her staff and let it torch the ground in front of her. She made a solid wall of it before the first scythe hit. It embedded itself in the solid flame. She skipped a few lines in teh poem she quoted, jumping right to teh end. Her wall wasn't going to hold as the rest of the Scythes crashed into it, breaking pieces off.
"One short sleep past, wee wake eternally. And death shall be no more; death, thou shalt die." She was sure to say the last part a bit clearer, hoping to drive the last bit home. What would he do once he'd gone and killed everyone? The wall broke and a scythe cut deep into her left shoulder causing her to fall back with the force. Oddly enough it didn't hurt, then again adrenaline was acting as Novocain in her system, so she didn't bother to look at the damage. It was deep, she knew that much, and she was getting rather cold, and tired. She closed her eyes, death wasn't so bad, just like going to sleep.
((giving credit where it is due. Poem is "Death be not proud, though some have called thee" by John Donne.))

He'd call one final scythe into hand, his own three-bladed massive instrument and hang his head low. "Mighty and dreadful, for, thou art not so...and dost with poyson, warre, and sicknesse dwell." He'd slowly turn and begin to approach her finally using the speed she'd spoken of to kneel down before her with a sick grin upon his face. "Can you not recite how it is I will come to die? It's very simple and literal...One short sleepe past, wee wake eternally! But, we all have our interpretations. One thing is for sure...Johnny knew a whole lot about me, didn't he!?"
He'd slowly rise to his feet with the scythe in both hands, hair covering his face. "When I've reaped each and every soul upon this planet...I'll reap the planet itself! And when this world dies...I will move to another. Reap the wicked and sew the lives of the innocent...thus is my fate. Or at least half of it!" With that he'd just keep laughing while raising the scythe into the air and trying to bring all three blades down into her.

The scythe that hit her initially had ripped through the artery in her shoulder. She was bleeding out, her blood soaking into teh ground and killing grass, flowers, and nearby bushes, so cracking her eyes open to look up at him was harder than it should of been. Pain was starting to kick in as well, and breathing was getting harder. She watched him, wondering why he was pausing "Are you afraid?" she asked quietly.
She briefly wondered if bringing him back was a mistake. True what was going on now didn't hurt nearly as much as what Bastion did before, and it helped that her mind was starting to numb. Still, now she wondered if his current existence was better then his prior. Somehow the outcome seemed worse to her.

"I have nothing to be afraid of; I am what all fear at the End. What I am...is thankful. You brought me back and showed me who and what I am and it seems cruel to butcher you when...well, no need to be redundant." His eyes would shift to her wound and he'd sigh...whatever this feeling was, something that felt like some sort of residual guilt, was making him feel incredibly ill...and even sad. He'd tighten his grip on his scythe, slowly denting the shaft. With a bit of a roar he'd rip it from her and toss it aside. He wanted to puke, but there was water in his eyes instead. Sight of the scythe didn't help.
He'd literally take control of her blood and make sure all impurities had left it, thus it would turn from red to blue. He'd poke a small hole in her arm and feed her the blood as if it had never left, the hole itself too small to leek much blood when all was...eventually...said and done. He'd reach into her and reconnect what he had severed manually, forcing his regenerative properties onto her. Sadly, he had nothing for the pain, though her pain was the least of his worries for now.
His eyes would shift to hers and he'd take a deep breath. "You know...Death has accomplices. War, Pestilence, Famine. You...could become Pestilence next to me." This was his was of trying to say he didn't want to kill her...but at the same time, if she said something to oppose his work, he would feel no regret in wearing her skull.

She bit her lip and winced when he started reconnecting things, stupid consciousness kicked back in. She wasn't sure what hurt worse, having things be ripped through, or having things be put back. She'd be taking a few deep breaths, now that she could, and look back up at him. Hadn't they discussed something similar to this awhile back. She nodded in reply, she felt like she'd be sick if she tried to say anything. The word mortal seemed to echo in her head again, and this little scene here wasn't helping in driving it away.

"We never had an agreement; I believe when we spoke of it, it was more in jest then anything else. But now I am very serious...and I know you are as well." He'd finish the job inside of her and remove his hands, his arms shaking at the sight of the blood he was dying to consume. For now he'd use more dark energy to stitch her up and force regeneration upon her. He'd then rapidly lick at his hands, biting them even to get at her blood.
In a strange turn of events he'd then straddle her. He'd move his hair from his face and look her over for a moment...and finally smile a warm smile. He'd spread his arms out, sending a signal to his fingers to change, and they indeed would, into nearly microscopic tentacles. They'd enter into Nimm through her pours and literally begin to rearrange her DNA, more tendrils splitting from the already microscopic ones to get the job done quicker. He was forcing evolution upon her, allowing her body to regenerate at a beyond mortal rate.
"I'd hate to see you in another position like this, thus I'm giving your ability to fix itself much quicker. Far from my level, but you will never need stitches again." He'd sigh and press his forehead to hers for a moment, just resting...then lift it and try to look her in the eyes. "While I'm in you, is there anything else that you want me to...change? Fix? Emphasize?"

She was almost sure he'd been in her head. Had he? Ack, that was beside the point, she was more focused at why he was sitting on her. "Your smiling..." she noticed, taking the opportunity to speak now that she was no longer bleeding or in pain for that matter. She could still feel that shifting feeling though, now taking note of his physical change.
His explanation was enough for her, though the wording of the last bit, as well as what he asked had her questioning things again. "I swear you hear what I'm thinking sometimes." she said, looking back up at him. She wondered briefly how to word what she wanted to ask, though her mouth seemed to act without her thinking for the first time. "Can you make me immortal like you?" she asked, though it sounded somewhat timid, like a kid asking for something they already knew the answer to.

"I am hearing what you're thinking; I have been since you brought me to my new found glory. Because of your blood and my inept powers of the mind, I cannot filter your thoughts from my head when we're in close proximity...thankfully, the tone of your voice is the same in my head and thus I can distinguish them from my own thoughts. But say you wondered off...I can read minds. I've been able to since I was created...and ability of Kain's I believe." He'd smile and work out the last of the "bugs" in her to allow her to regenerate.
Once she'd asked her question his brows would rise, though he'd soon come to simply smile. "Immortality...has several; definitions. Age and Time do not affect me, but nor do attacks on my personal being. My regeneration allows me to live through virtually any attack. So, which is it you'd prefer? To end the aging process or to become what I really am?"
