Andrei was on his way back to Medley's after feeding. She deserved for her lifemate to court her, but how he could court her he had no idea. She seemed to care for her garden a great bit...perhaps there was a way within that...He knocked on the door to the cottage, still thinking about what he could do for her.

She peered out then opened the door. "Hunting go ok?" Stepping aside to let him in.. luckily she kept a neat house.

That made her blush a bit more though she gave him a teasing grin "So you were distracted because you wanted to see me blush?"

She tilted her head "That sounds... difficult. We'll work on balancing out having you stay close enough for your pull while not making me feel smothered." Giving a small, firm nod "I don't think it should be too hard to figure out"

He nodded, "You are taking this quite well. My brother's lifemate put up quite a fight, even though she was born Carpathian. She was also younger than you when they first met, though."

She shrugged "Its something that needs to happen regardless so fighting it seems rather silly to me and a waste of energy. Better to discuss and learn civilly and possibly compromise than fight and have us both suffer."

She rolled her eyes "You obviously haven't been around many females. We can be more emotional than males.. but that doesn't mean we can't be intelligent or think logically either."

Andrei's mind flitted back to the last time he had been so at ease and in mixed company. The terrible memories hit him with a new rawness and he shook his head and moved to sit down.
