"There's a dog, i think!" She called up to him, before scrambling up to the entrance to kick out some soilage, to widen them. "That barking, the man will come soon. The whole farm can hear the dog anyway, they don't need us to tell them. You'll be spotted by man easily, and their thunderstick will kill you much faster than that dog will." She explained hastily as she furiously widened the tunnels, enough to get him into the much larger, burrow shaped hole if he needed it, before diving back down for her own saftey.

Raven nodded at Blackthorn’s instructions, glancing up at her marli and giving her a confident smile, “Right, got it”. She finally felt included, and while she still thought watch duty seemed rather tiresome, at least Althea would be doing it with her.
Ducking around to the other side of her marli, Raven kept her body low to the ground, scouring the area and sniffing about for anything that seemed dangerous or unusual.
At the sound of the Turkey screeching and the woman's voice nearby, Raven sat straight up and thumped her foot on the ground, "Elil nearby!" she turned to Althea, seemingly calm though her nose twitched like crazy, "Should we abandon the plan?"

"But those in the garden! What if they don't know?" His eyes displayed his anxiety as he thought of the others nearby. What if someone was stuck in the barn? Or they couldn't hear in the fields.
"I'll be back! I will, I just have to check! If I don't make it, tell Moonsong my heart is with hers, please?" He seemed most desperate as he turned tail and fled towards the barn.

Hraka! Frith and Inle' what the hell was going on?!
"Blackthorn! Trouble!"
She didn't dare sit up to assess it better, but this was going to be quite a mess. It was too dangerous out here, that was for sure. She thought frantically, her ears going ballistic as the listened to the chaos.
"We should all get into that man den thing. We need cover, better than grass can provide, we might just have to take our chances with what's inside."

"Good luck, Cowslip!" She called, commending his bravery, only hoping that it didn't leave him to become food for the many elil alerted by this ruckus. With that, she sighed heavily and returned to her scrape, diggng furiously to not only make her out've site, but to also work on an escape tunnel, should her first hole be discovered. She considered if this could make her the fastest digger so far, but it was a shame that it would be a worthless title. She also had a new goal: Get back alive to see Cowslip, or to at least give Moonsong the message.

Blackthorn glanced to Althea, noticing her slightly disgruntled expression. Inwardly scolding himself he realised his anxieties over the raid were making him less attentive to his team mates. Ears flicked as he glanced around then back to her. He hoped she would speak up if she felt anything was wrong, he valued her opinons highly and knew she was one of the best owsla they had.
Just as he turned and was about to head out, the most horrific noise started up where the other group was. What was going on?! Sitting bolt upright he struggled to see over to where the other group should be, and where that hiddeous noise was coming from.
"Frith! What is that?" He gasped, never having heard anything like it in his life. Tearing his gaze from the comotion across the yard he looked up at Althea and nodded. "Agreed, RUN!"
Leaping out the tall grass he shot across the open space.

What was he to do? Where was there to turn to get this thing off his heals? Certainly there was something he could jump away into...he had always lived within the warren and always there was a hole to slip into just in the nick of time. But not here. By the time he could find a bush, or some plants to hide within, the monster-bird would be on him. He could hear the dog starting up its baying, knowing he had caused the commotion, but what could he do about it? Maybe he could drive the turkey into the dog? Would that save him then? It might get the turkey off his tail, but would he be able to manage to get out of the dog's grip as well? He wasn't aware of the chain, but it wasn't chasing him yet. Maybe a barrier? Without thought, the rabbit turned toward the barking, spotting the creature yanking against the chain. All common sense told him to turn around, but forcing himself forward, he darted straight for the hound, looking for a place he could jump away through to get both predators off the attack.

“Right, good plan! See you inside!” Without a second thought, Raven darted inside the 'man-den'. Her marli’s words were all she needed to feel safer about the place. Once inside, she ducked into a corner, ignoring everything that was around her for now, just wanting to get out of the open as much as possible.

"Right... Maybe some safety inside." Badassi agreed solemly as calamity broke out throughout the farm. Dog barking, turkey screeching. A human female was outside! So much was going wrong and deep down he was sure it had to do with Cocklebur in some way, shape, or form. It had to!
With little hesitation, he shot after the trio, once again bringing up the rear.

Raising to her paws quickly the moment Blackthorn agreed, she quickly looked around worriedly, the sounds of something awful approaching stirring her to rush after her daughter. She only paused a moment outside of the door frame, anxiety flooding her senses.
This was beyond saving, in her opinion it was time to head back to the warren. A part of being Owsla was knowing when it was a good time to back off. And this was most certainly it. She made a mental note to have quite a little talk with Cocklebur, even if it meant getting into a fight with the Captain. This was poorly planned raid and every Owsla officer knew it.
Dog. And a human. And... what was that?!
Althea had quite enough after one look at the evil, giant land-hawk and dove into the barn.

Crouching inside the barn between the wall and a large square thing (a spade leaned against the wall) the owsla counted off the three as they followed him inside, amber gaze already searching the inside of the massive burrow. His heart hammered in his chest from the sudden rush, the dog's barking sounded painfully loud and that incessent screaching was still carrying on. Plus a human female!. But at least Raven, badassi and Althea were safely inside and away from any potential thundersticks.. but other elil may be in here with them.
Straining all his sences he struggled to keep tabs on outside, as well as searching the inside for new threats. As his heart calmed he hopped carefully over to Althea and Badassi, expression deeply troubled. Checking raven was close he turned to the two officers.
"This is a mess..." He knew they were all thinking it.. but also, they appeared to be stuck in here for the time being, what with all that going on outside.. They needed a plan.

"Indeed, it is... I have the feeling we aren't much safer." His tattered ears pricked and swiveled as he tried in vain to listen for potential danger within their current safe-haven. He sat near the spade, not far from Blackthorn, and groomed his paw for a moment.

Pressing herself against the wall, she looked around as best she could. If she ever got out of this she'd never leave her burrow in the morning without thanking Frith for still being alive every day from now on.
Looking at the little group, she took assessment. They were all here, none tharn, none wounded. Good. Her ears cocked as Blackthorn spoke and she turned to him.
"And we all know who to thank for it too."
She was angry, and although she could easily lose her rank if she spoke too much, Althea couldn't help with the biting comment. Gnashing her teeth for a moment, she calmed herself before speaking again.
"We need to know what's here. A hiding place, in case the man, dog, and big bird come in. Or if there's elil. This place smells... familiar."
It smelled like... like that hutch from so long ago. Almost. Not quite. It had been over a year since she'd lived on a farm, and it wasn't this one to be sure. But still, there was something about this place.

Harebell paused in her digging, slowly coming back to nearer her original entrance, listening to hear what was going on. The dog was still barking, and the turkey was still going nuts, she couldn't hear anything else aside from that though, and so decided to retreat back to her new safety escape. The chamber was nearly complete, though it wasn't comfortable for a nest of kittens. Luckily such wasn't her plan, and she attempted instead to make a new exit, burrowing towards the fence of the farm, hoping to make an exit on the other side of the said fence.

Inside the barn the owsla group would see large bales of straw, hay, and alfalfa all stacked to the ceiling. The alfalfa was what smelled the sweetest. There was also stores of food in there for the coming winter. Sacks of potatoes and so forth. With the excitement outside, animals in their stalls stirred. A couple horses grunting and stamping there feet, and a milk cow mooed.
However, another dark shadow slinked across the rafters, watching the rabbits below.
Outside, Fledgestone seemed to be on a suicide run towards the dog while the turkey continued its pursuit. The hound started going nuts upon seeing the rabbit and bird coming straight towards him, yanking hard on his chain. However, the dog house was old and rotting, and with a few more yanks his chain came free. Now unrestrained the dog ran for Fledgestone. The turkey, although not the brightest bulb, knew better than to keep running towards the dog and fled in a flurry.
Cocklebur meanwhile had made it to the meeting point... and had come across something quite interesting...
