NoLifeKing66 N for Notorious My style of dealing with problems is to let people vent their steam, I find its better than kicking a good rper from the guild entirely, as long as it remains relatively harmless, I think its an alright idea to let someone say all their problems so they get it off their chest. Perhaps, but wasn't it one of your comments that caused the problems to escalate? I can't access the thread anymore, so I can't check. Did you move it into the crew subforum, or did you delete it? Because if you deleted it, I have to say that it seems to me that you're covering your tracks so that Akari won't know how badly you handled the situation when she returns. I hope that's not true. It wasn't my comment, it was captain burnett defending his use of the SAS, the whole thing escalated from there. I did delete it, but its a little presumptuous of you to assume I did it to cover my tracks, I did it in fact because I received a PM from Xjioh saying he thought I should, It had always been my plan too, but like I to let people vent their steam, its a healthy thing and its the best way to do it, if you keep ignoring something instead of addressing the problem or letting it run its course, it builds up steam over time and becomes worse and worse so at the end of it everyone just ends up blowing up at each other and leaving the guild.

Well, in my defense I told you to delete it when I thought problems were starting to escalate to the point of me and Shinmei having to leave. Not saying I would've directly been kicked but I would've left with Shinmei. But I think it's good that it was removed. Covering tracks or no. I don't think it'd be a nice welcome back for Akari to see that problems had arised. Then again, it would be smart of Akari to rethink her administration when she gets back. Maybe hire a few more. I'd vote for NoLifeKing. =P

It is presumptuous of me to assume that, and I apologize, but it did seem suspicious. I don't remember who started what, but you only added fuel to the fire. If I recall correctly, you called Shinmei a drama queen for posting his complaints in the main forum instead of simply sending someone a PM. Then you told him to go look things up instead of providing him the information he requested. Now I don't care if you eventually coughed it up. That's not the point. The point is that, as a crew member, you are obligated to help guild members. You don't have to let them vent their frustrations if there's no frustrations to vent. That's why I believe you handled the situation badly.

I can see why it would seem suspicious, but for the record I DID send Xjioh the information and he said he was giving it to Shinmei, the information was sent out there was even a post where Xjioh said "We got the answers we wanted so lets just get out of this", I did send him the information, after that i was letting him vent the anger, I was also caught a tad off guard with the whole situation because I haven't seen numerous rpers in the guild having problems with the storyline, however that doesn't mean i shouldn't have just given him the information right off the bat, I definitely didn't handle the situation well but he did get the info at least halfway through the whole 54 or so posts

I'm glad to see you've made an announcement regarding the story so far. I was wondering if I could write a longer, more detailed story and submit it for the crew's approval? And a description of the Solanum virus, as well?
I also think that the "Story" thread could be used for other purposes, as well, such as establishing the time of day. It's not necessary, but it could be a nice touch. In any case, I think the crew should take some sort of control over the story's setting, so people aren't randomly making things up.
Does that make any sense?

Yah that makes perfect sense, but Akari said before she left she was planning on putting that into action herself, but she didn't tell me her plan before she left so I can't really put anything of long-term use into action for the moment.

Understood. May I write up a more detailed story? If the crew has certain requirements they'd like me to meet, I can do that.

Very well then. I'll write it up when I have some free time and then submit it for your approval. By the way, I thought I should bring it to your attention that a few of our members are making nothing but one-line posts. A lot of them. I think you should do something about that. Warn them, maybe. Tell them they need to start making longer posts or they'll get kicked.

I know, i used to delete them but it just gets annoying after a while, but when Akari left she said when she got back she was going to put a three strike policy into affect and start offering manditory rp tutoring to those people so unless she's not back in the next month i'm not going to threaten to kick just yet
