The scaling around the face might be difficult, but I don't see why there would be a mask when my red dragon never had one.

I don't think it would be a mask - the red dragon is a pretty good example of how it could be translated and still have an equine face.

Are my breed options good though? Is that what would mix best [with the wing mutation] to give me that dragon?

Opinions on my sisters? I have Dew in several shops and Ember in one and in progress in another. I don't really like to use the ones from other shops as references because I like to see how each colorist sees them.

@Lyda: He'll probably still end up as a mutant in the end. e.e I was told that my dragon is a mutant because of his facial horns.

@Tomol: 1,500,000 (full flutter) + 650,000 (half-kirin) + 200,000 (moderate edit) = 2,350,000

You might be able to get them as twins since they are sisters. Overall, it looks like a good form. You might want to back up your images on a photo saving site like photobucket or tinypics.

Also, if the horse is based off the phantom version of Ganon's horse in Ocarina of Time, the horse is a solid black Gerudo Stallion according to the Gossiping Stones. [cited] Of course coloring is completely optional if you want to keep it true to the drawn picture than in game. Could always get away saying his black with a blue sheen.

Hi! I was wondering if I could get some outside opinion on a cosplay I've been questing for a while. Since not a lot of colorists like to do fullbody clothing, I was wondering how I could transform the character's dress into something more horse-like or drapery-like

I keep forgetting to update her onto the new form, but I'll do that now after I get everything sorted out xD

This is what the character looks like, and as you can see, she has a lot going on. orz I was wondering how I could possibly go about to translate the clothing onto a horse?

Both hair and tail mentioned above. As well has her eye and mouth edits.
Clothing: Her dark navy blue dress is backless, so if around her rump it just drapes over to cover it that would be lovely. The inside of her dress is the same color as her tattoos that orange red color. On the front part of her dress, where it starts on her neck, she has a dark cream colored collar with a dark navy blue ribbon tied around it in a bow. she has chest armor. The armor to the sides could start on her thigh, obscuring the slit on the upper part of her dress.
She also has armguards of the same color, ending at the middle of her upper arm, which has black tattered ribbons wrapped around the end of it, and cream colored cloth poking out at the ends, and also along the whole entire length of her arm. At her hoofs it ends at a 'v', a bit of cream color cloth poking out.

Sorry this has taken so long to respond to you. And it'll probably take a little big longer as I think about how the dress could be made more artist friendly.

Visually, you can keep the Victorian style collar and have the scarf start there. It would drape across her chest and come back up to cover her rump from the flanks to tail back as a solid, but tattered piece. I don't know if you want to keep bits of her leather armor or not, but it could be what is keeping the chest part of the scarves in place. Then a belt with the daggers would be what brings the scarf back up over her rump. (example) Keep the arm bands and probably do greaves for the boots. I don't know if a colorist would have them go up as high.
