The man looked down at lexxy, his torso rippling with the movement. he looked like he could crush her with a flex of his massive biceps. He was 6'2, so he was a literal giant compared to lexxy.
"I am looking for the couple known as Peter and lexxy Ryan."
He had a deep rumbling bass, with a slight southern twang to it. ~~Peter Ryan~~ "La séparation est tant de douleur douce. Mais elle la vaut pour la réunion." Ryan limped over, eyeing the giant suspiciously. He leaned his weight on his left leg, freeing his cane in case he had to use it. Though looking at him, he wasn't sure if even that would help. The guy was huge. Larger even than Miller...

"Don't make me go all kitty on you!" Lexxy inched closer to Ryan. This man was intimidating and all she wanted to do was go kitten and hide behind her husband. But she stayed human and acted as the spokesperson.
"That is us. Is something wrong? And who are you?"
Of course, the first thing Lex did was ask questions. She had zero patience when she was curious, and this was quite a situation to be curious about.

"I am Edon Jhonsson, Jarl of the Clan of the Wolf. And I bring a message from His Royal Highness." ~~Peter Ryan~~ "La séparation est tant de douleur douce. Mais elle la vaut pour la réunion." If it weren't for his cane, Ryan might have had to grab a table for balance. His Royal Highness. There was only one person he and Lex knew that had that title.

"Don't make me go all kitty on you!" Lexxy grinned instantly, remembering Nocam and the other Lexxy. She relaxed. Any friend of Nocam was safe. She wasted no time in shaking Edon's hand, which ate her tiny hand for breakfast.
"Well, it's very nice to meet you Edon."
Her smile vanished as everything that could be wrong ran through her head.
"He's okay, right? Nothing's wrong?"

"Wait a sec...Nocam wasn't Prince back then. he retired...his daughter took the throne...What happened exactly?"
HE wondered if they should be having this converstaion in class. After all, there were looks of wonder coming from the girls. A shirtless man with blue eyes and long blond hair, built like a tank, and the word "Prince" being thrown around...the gossip would spread quick. least it wouldn't be about he and lexxy this time.

"Don't make me go all kitty on you!" Lexxy had noticed the silence in the room as everyone leaned in to listen closely.
"If you're not working in three minutes, I will be an angry teacher. And I'm sure everyone here heard about what happened last time I got angry. It was not a pretty sight. So get to work!"
The kids got to work immediately, remembering how she had flipped over a desk and dragged a kid to the office by his ear when he had touched her inappropriately. She gave Edon an apologetic smile for cutting him off.
"I'm sorry. What were you saying?"

"His Royal highness requests that you attend to him aboard his personal yacht, the frigate Meriah. He said he shall tell you more in person." ~~Peter Ryan~~ "La séparation est tant de douleur douce. Mais elle la vaut pour la réunion." Ryan raised his left eyebrow. If Nocam requested their presence aboard one of his ships, there must be something up. Especially if he sends a viking king down as his personal messenger.
"Lemme confer with my wife first. And it'll be a bit before you receive an answer. We can't exactly up and leave."

"Don't make me go all kitty on you!" Lexxy shrugged.
"I don't see why not. It's not like the world is going to blow up if we leave. I say we go. Not right this second, of course. But soon."
She looked at Ryan, wondering what he had to say about it. Lex watched out of her peripheral vision to make sure everyone was working before focusing on Ryan again.
"And I think it'd be nice to take a vacation. See some friends. We haven't seen Nocam in forever. It'd be nice to see him again."

he turned to give Edon his answer...only to discover that he was gone.
"What the..."
How did he move so silently? he seemed to huge for that...

"Don't make me go all kitty on you!" Lexxy frowned but moved away from the door, shrugging.
"I don't know either."
She chuckled and turned to her class. Almost everyone was staring at her. The rest were staring at the doorway. Both eyebrows went up.
"Didn't I tell you to work? You have five more minutes to work on your free draw and then it'll be time to pack up. I want the next five minutes to be silent. You should all have a rough sketch done for your free draw, or at least know what you're going to do, by the time you leave here."
The girls looked at her for a minute before getting back to work. Lexxy smiled and walked to her desk, putting the drawing in her favorites folder.

"Now what is this?"
He gently removed it from the folder.

"That is one of the free draws one of my students did. And we're allowed to keep it. Isn't it gorgeous?"
She turned her head a little and pointed at Dairin. Dairin, catching the point, blushed and got back to work.
"Thank Dairin for it. She's the artist who drrew this magnificent piece of artwork."

He smiled at Dairin before whispering softly in Lexxy's ear.

"Don't make me go all kitty on you!" Lex raised an eyebrow, a habit she's had all her life.
"Do you really? How do you plan on doing that?"
She gave him a small smile, secretive, as if she knew all his tricks. Which she thought she did. But, knowing Ryan, he always had an extra one up his sleeve.
'If I walk around with my ears down and my arms wrapped around myself, I might be able to beat him. But I'll look stupid doing it.'
