Thinking nothing of it, Ryan accepted the job and was transferred to a boarding school of nekos. Much to his surprise, the cute furry girls caught his heart instantly, and he had to constantly try to keep his mind at a professional level. Unfortunately, he fell in love with one of his students, and they were eventually married, as they were perfect for each other. During a mission for the Agency, he was shot in the kneecap, permanently injuring him, causing him to walk with a cane. After spending time in the working world, they decided to retire, Ryan hearing about this place called The House, the CIA paying for the entire thing, allowing his wife and he to retire in comfort, granted it didn‘t last long, though they made many new and good friends. Lexxy grew up with a ‘foster’ family. Which includes Saily, and Mark. Her so called parents who hated her and sent her to Neko University to get her out of the house. While attending the Neko school, she fell in love with her English teacher, eventually marrying him. After a few more years of working as the art teacher for the Neko School, Ryan retired from his job, so Lexxy left with him, the two of them taking a permanent vacation to a romantic getaway called The House. Apparently, it wasn’t so permanent. Ryan and Lexxy went back to living their original lives, and they like it that way.

The quote was from Hamlet, one of Ryan's favourite Shakespearian plays. He knew to some people were looking weirdly at the orange and white cat sitting on his desk, but he didn't care. The cat had every right to be there.
"'This above all, to thine own self be true.' Can anyone tell me in their own words what this means?"
He turned back to the class, leaning lightly on his eagle cane.

"Don't make me go all kitty on you!" The little orange and white cat looked at Ryan, apparently interested in what he had to say. The desk she was laying on was hard and slightly uncomfortable. She'd much rather be perched on Ryan's head, but he had specifically told her she couldn't do that when he was teaching. It was still tempting... But the cat gave herself a firm no and turned her eyes back to the all human class her husband taught. It was a weird bunch with a ton of obvious cliques. Jocks and populars were in the back, the straight A students sat up front, and the few "emo" kids he had sat in the corner of the room. But no half cat people. It confused Lex. She though Ryan loved cat people. A tiny snore caught her ear, the cats eyes darting to a loner in the back. She sat apart from the jocks and emos. Lexxy's whiskers twitched as her tiny cat mouth formed a smile. 'I wonder if Ryan notices there's a sleeping kid in his classroom.'

He sighed and limped over to the desk. he raised his cane high in the air, then brought it down on the desk with a resounding crack, causing a good portion of the students to jump.
"You are now awake. Welcome to class."

"Don't make me go all kitty on you!" Lexxy chuckled as the girl jumped, looking around as if she actually had just gotten here.
"What the hell was that for?!" The kid threw her hands up and gave Ryan a 'wtf' look.
"I was having a good dream and you have to march over her and cut it off! Thanks a lot," She sat back in her chair, over the initial shock of being woken. 'Someone's got an attitude,' Lexxy laughed silently at her own thoughts.

It's quite rude to fall asleep on someone when they're spending time to push knowledge into your brain. So why don't you stay awake, and you won't have to freak out again, hmm?"
He crossed his arms, standing without the support of his cane, the fierce gaze of the eagle looking back towards Lexxy like it always tends to.

"Don't make me go all kitty on you!" Lexxy wasn't listening when the girl responded with "Maybe I don't want that knowledge in my brain. And who made me freak out? Who slammed their cane onto my desk? Hmmm?" The kitten was having a mental battle with the eagle. Cat against bird, and sadly, the bird was winning. For now. The girl Ryan woke up kept his gaze, not daring to back down.

"Don't make me go all kitty on you!" The whole class broke out into oh's. The students up front snickered and whispered comments between themselves. One guy yelled out "Burned!" which caused the girl to glare at him, her cheeks heating up. It was obvious she was even more angry at the teacher. Her hands were curled up in fists under her desk and her brown eyes were narrowed slightly.
"I've been told I suck at shutting up. Unless I'm sleeping, of course," Lexxy shook her head at the girls response after she had won the mental battle with the eagle. 'She's only making it worse for herself.'

He gave her a stern look, the same one he gave lexxy when she was his student that always made her behave. Mostly.

"Don't make me go all kitty on you!" The girl smirked. "Sure. I'll try shutting up. Right after this class," Lexxy frowned a little and jumped off the desk. Only a few people saw her, since everyone was looking at the drama. The orange and white cat pranced up the aisle between desks until she got to the girls. Her muscles tensed for a second before she leaped up onto the edge of the desk, her tail hanging off of it. Lex cocked her head a bit and looked up at Ryan, giving him this as if to say 'is there a problem here?' Lexxy was tired of their conversation and would much rather hear Ryan teach the class then argue with a student.

"Then I might have to hold you after class. Perhaps Detention. it will teach you to remain silent. Silence is Golden. Especially in this class."
