Harvest smiled as she approached Unia, dropping the meat and approaching the vixen who had handed her to Niko. Her tail flicked, lowering her head as the vixen smiled and nuzzled her cheek.
"It's so wonderful to see you! Is Prelude here? Oh, he is! But, whose the other two?" She smiled upwards at Harvest, tail wagging happily. "How's your father? Also, is one of these two your mate? Do you like anyone?"
Harvest sighed, of course Unia was asking a million questions, they hadn't seen each other for awhile. She laughed, shaking her head at the female. Silly, she was really silly, but sweet as well. "Unia, breathe." She said, patting her paw.
"Prelude will be here in two seconds to attack you with love and questions. The other two are Taiat and Demon. Niko is alright, and neither of these two are my mates. And perhaps.... I may like someone, however that is for later, Unia." She tiled her head as Unia arched her head, hearing her gasp.
"So it is Demon! I didn't see him until he got close!" She wagged her tail, looking over at the three.
"UNIAAAAA!" Prelude threw his bigger self at Unia, nuzzling into the nearly fallen over vixen. "I brought Harvest and her friends! She doesn't have a mate, but guesssss whatttt?" Prelude leaned forward, whispering into Unia's ear. Unia blushed.
"Oh, Daciana? What a lovely name."

Taiat bowed to Unia trying to be polite. Greetings Miss Unia. What am I supposed to say to a friend of a friend? Speaking with Demon only results in anger between the two of us, and chatting with Prelude feels like it would a be a one sided conversation with a wall.. and I’d be the wall. Still I should offer up more than a simple greeting I suppose. It would be what the most socially acceptable thing to do seems to be. Miss Unia; Havest, Demon, and myself have all gone hunting and Harvest seemed to think your tribe might benefit from the bounty. Prelude assisted us in carrying it this far. Taiat gestured to the prey the foxes had brought with them. He noticed Demon’s distance, but did not comment fearing bringing up another unneeded altercation and what would be a vexing situation for Harvest.

Unia smiled sweetly at Taiat, pawing at him lightly, blushing. "Miss? Oh no no no, just Unia, though the thought is cute. I'm way to young to be a miss, right?" She laughed good naturally, turning to smile at Prelude. "That was very kind of you, Prelude." She said, smiling when the 'Phim wiggled slightly.
"No problem, and yes, you are very young, Unia!" He smiled when Unia blushed, and laughed as she pawed at the ground, turning his head to see Demon gone. Curiously, he looked at Harvest.
"Demon is...."
She turned her head as well, seeing emptiness where Demon had been. Her ears lowered, letting out a soft sigh. So he was.... but... why? She couldn't hide the small bit of guilt or sadness, turning to smile faintly at Unia.
"Yes, young indeed."

Taiat blushes at Unia touch surprised and confused. He masks his confusion by bowing his head at her. As you wish Unia. How is the thought cute? All I did was call her miss. That doesn’t make her old. Still if that is want she wants it would be rude of me to go against her desires. After all she is dear to Harvest. Taiat looked up at Prelude’s comment and saw that the green fox was gone. He glanced at Harvest and was going to ask were the other fox went, but seeing the look in her eyes he decided against it. Mis… a Unia what would you like us to do with the meat? We could take it further for you or will you call other members of your tribe to come and get it? This is awkward. Finally I have a perfect use for that word. I completely understand it now.

"Ah no! I will take it back myself, it's alright." She smiled sweetly again, spotting Harvest with her ears lowered and looking at the ground. She glanced between the two, and smiled lightly. She had an idea! But it involved making Prelude get out.
"Prelude, why don't you come with me? You can talk to me about Daciana and help me carry the meat." She wagged her tail as the 'Phim nodded and moved closer, the two grabbing the meat together.
"Ah! Unia, what about Taiat and I?" Harvest stepped forward, attempting to help. Prelude, who had caught on, swatted at her, grinning.
"Nope! You guys hang out together! I'll be back later!"
"Together?" She turned to look at Taiat, looking away as a blush formed. Hmpf, figures. She could read Prelude and Unia like a book. She nodded however, moving beside Taiat and pawing at the ground.

Taiat was going to offer to help, but after Prelude turned down Harvest's offer he thought it best not say anything. Why the two foxes wanted to haul all that meat by themselves when there were two more foxes to help was beyond him. Still when Harvest came to sit beside him he found himself glad Unia and Prelude had gone. The last time he had been alone with Harvest was when Harvest was sleeping and Demon was still hunting. Taiat's tail started to wag without him realizing it. I'm glad you have such good friends and family. Unia and Prelude are very nice. Thank you for inviting me and letting me meet them.Taiat smiled warmly at Harvest.

She smiled lightly, nodding at the male. "Of course." She flicked her tail to the side, her own tail wagging much like Taiat's. "Your my friend, and one of my few, I wanted you to meet my other friend, though he seems to have run off." Her ears lowered again, looking at the ground. Taiat made her happy inside, made her smile just a little more than she usually did.
"Did I say something wrong to him? I am awkward with people, it's not often I strike up conversations, but...."

Taiat looked at Harvest with one eyebrow cocked. No I don’t believe you did; though you know I might not be the best one to ask about such matters. Taiat himself was socially awkward and had difficulty around other foxes. Harvest was someone who he was strangely at ease with. He tried to think over the trip and all that had occurred. I believe your friend has some inner turmoil that he is trying to work though. He just is a little lost for now. Perhaps he will come back later more himself?
Taiat looked to Harvest hoping he hadn’t overstepped some social barrier by saying his thoughts aloud.

"Perhaps."
Harvest shrugged at this, rolling her shoulders and looking at the sky, pondering on the issue. Demon was unlike himself, and had run off. Though, it couldn't be helped now. She could fly in the sky and find him, but she really didn't want to leave Taiat's side. Wait, wait wait wait, when did she care about not leaving Taiat? Her eyes flicked over at the male, blinking at him.
That orange fox was a parasite in her mind, and frankly it was annoying. When they had split apart she found herself wondering how he was, or even, where he was. If he was safe, if his wounds had healed, and dammit, that wasn't her! Irritating to the extreme, and yet comforting. No, it wasn't annoying. It was.... strange. Different. But he was one of the few that made her at ease.
She smiled at the orange fox, nodding. "I'll track him down one day. Though right now I rather stay here."

Seeing Harvest smile made Taiat grin. It was nice to see her happy. He nodded. I would be happy to help you look for him Harvest. To be honest though I am glad you are staying by me. He faced the ground until he got the blush that had developed under control. When he did Taiat flicked his tail just at its white tip as he looked at Harvest.. Despite the trip that had made him tired she didn’t seem fatigued at all. He couldn’t help but think of the crystal cave he had shown her whenever he looked at her fur. It was so beautiful.
When he had first met Harvest he had placed her at a distance, but after sharing the experiences in the caves he felt it was difficult to be apart from her. Strange I wonder what this is. It feels more binding than friendship. Perhaps I am mistaken? I have no desire to push Harvest into anything other than what she wants, yet at the same time I feel almost torn to ask for more. Why is that?

Harvest looked at Taiat, nodding in thought. The stone between her shoulder blades always reminded her of Taiat, and as she turned to look at him she wondered in the back of her mind what she would do once the two had to separate. What if she didn't want to, though? Taiat was kind and the only fox she had really even smiled at the way she did. He was looking at the ground, and Harvest was tempted at asking him what was wrong.
"Then I'll stay here." She said finally, her wings shifting. She looked down at her golden flames, retracting them slightly and lying down beside Taiat, considering moving closer. Instead, she slipped her stone out from between her wings, moving it in between her paws. "I'd like to return to the cave one day, Taiat."

Taiat looked at Harvest and watched her take out the stone. He couldn’t help but smile when she did so. That stone had been his most treasured possession second only to his life. Now he had something more precious to him than his life. It seemed fitting for her to have the stone, and he was glad to see she like it enough to carry it around with her. Haverest was beautiful, smart, kind, and so much more that he couldn’t even being to describe her well enough to do her the justice she deserved.
I would like to back as well. Perhaps one day we could travel back there together? I like spending time with you Harvest. I think that. Taiat was filled with emotions that he didn’t know how to express and wasn’t sure if he could even if he had the words to do so. I think that meeting you and spending time with you is the best thing that ever happened to me.
