First and last? I usually just call them all Cadet Airman Basic. But, after so long of seeing their nametag, I remember their name.

I am a C/LtCol in my Air Force JROTC unit. I am the Honor Guard Commander and we ONLY go by last names. Of the 125 cadets in my corps, I don't know ONE first name. We call each other by rank, last name, or nickname assigned by the unit. If I know your first name, it's because you're in trouble.

Since I am in charge of a freshman flight (C/MSgt), I only know their last names. Before I knew their names, I just addressed them as Cadet, Airman, etc. The ONLY way I find out their first names is if I have to fill out a 341 form, or refer them to the Major. (SASI)

marxs_22 Damn, 125 is a lot lot of cadets, like 2 Co. make that many kind of people. I'm not even sure if our whole unit (both semesters) has that many cadets. The other AFJROTC unit in our county has so few people, that thay might have to disband it if they don't get more.

They split off from our unit because of their pansy parents. biggrin
