"It is of no problem." Akin sat up, the mist swirling around his body like so much torn clothe. There was a small growling noise as the King yawned and then stretched. Sleeping on dirt and gravel was detrimental to ones body. It put all sorts of nasty kinks and soreness in the body.
"Are you hungry?"

Illitashia colored slightly, blushing. "No.. I am well enough thank you.."
She turned to face the sunrise once more, eyeing the land about her. "This is a beautiful place."
She whispered. "You are lucky to have such a home..."

Rasha glanced around outside of the cave. Over the past few days she was taking well care of and grew up into a fine cub. She was now old enough to explore the outside territory of the pride with ease.

Kichea lay in the grass by the river, giving herself a bath in the morning sun. The lioness they found had been asleep when she left early in the morning, as had everyone else in the pride. She smiled into the sun. Dawn was one of her favorite times of day. The sun rising, bringing hope to the weary that maybe, just maybe today would be better than the last.

"Surely your home is beautiful as well." Akin yawned again. It was too early to be up for sure!
The white tribal tumbled out after her golden counterpoint, yelping in surprise when she connected quite squarly with the others rump. "Eek! I'm sorry, Rasha!" Small teeth grabbed a white and gold ear, tugging gently. "Watcha up to?"

"Aiya!" She yelped and pawed at the white cub "Not so hard, my ears are sensitive." Rasha rolled her paw over her ear and leaped after the white tribal "Im doing nothing just thought I would just have some fresh air. That cave is smelly and stinky. Im off for a swim at a waterhole, wanna come?"

((I'm going to have Illitashia leave soon so she can meet up with Elli and the cubs and all, and be at Rackna's Pride when Akin and Kichea appear.. Hope that works well enough...))
Illitashia smiled and stretched, revelling in the smooth movement of her muscles, the ease with which her body was loosening. She was once more ready for travel, she could feel it.. It was time to press on, time to find Elli, time to find a home.
"Silver King.. I have no home, and so I must once more thank you for sharing your's with me..." She turned and gave him a dazzeling smile. "I think now I am ready to continue a search for my own place.... "
She glanced at the rising sun.

"Sure!" Jalara bit lightly at her cubmates tail. "Sorry 'bout your ears."

"Be known that if you are always welcome here and a place shall be here for you if you find no place to stay." Akintunde watched her, silver gaze light but ever watchful. He wanted to be with his mate but would watch the lioness until she left the immediate cave area.

Illitashia smiled and stepped forward, rubbing her cheek against his in a farewell. "Please thank the Lady Kichea for me? I would not have her think it ill because I did not give her my regards..."
She stepped back and bowed her head once more, then turned, trotting off into the sunlight. 'I think I would like to visit him again.. And Kichea.. And perhaps meet their pride.'
She shook her head. "Plenty of time for that, first, I have to meet Elli."
Still, not matter how much she wanted to see her friend again, her stride was halting, and she had to fight the impulse to look back at him continuously.

Kichea rose from her place and started back for the pride. She missed the comstant company of Akin, and wanted him by her side. She mewled as she got closer, calling from him. "Akin?"

He had meant what he said, there would be a place for the rose-colored lioness here. Seeing a lone lion or lioness made him find new respect for his home every time.
The soft voice calling his name made him jerk his head around. He was greeted with the beautiful sight of his dark mate in the mist. "Hello Kichea..." Akin purred loudly, greeting her with a nuzzle to her cheek.

"Good morning, love." She greeted, purring loudly. "How has the new day treated you thus far?" She inquired, stepping foreward to examine the wounds on his abdomen. "They heal fast..." She commented, nosing them gently.

Akin nodded, watching his Queen checking his wounds. "It has been fine so far. The newcomer has left." His eyes flicked back in the direction the other had left.

Kichea glanced in the direction Akin looked and indeed, she did see a rose figure loping across the pridelands. "Fare thee well, friend." She bowed her head lightly, acknowledging the newfound friend.

The Silver King watched the fading figure for a moment before turning back to his Black Queen. "We will meet again at Rackna's Pride. We must go soon." The anticipation and bubble of fear made itself known in his stomach. Thinking of the fight that he may have to deal with made his toes curl. Not that he wouldn't do it! He'd do anything for her!
